A Call for the Elect to Arise: A Prayer and Teaching for God’s Chosen

Introduction: The Time for the Elect to Rise is Now

We are living in an hour where the lines between light and darkness are being drawn more clearly than ever before. The world is growing colder, deception is increasing, and spiritual warfare is intensifying. Those who belong to Christ—the true elect—can feel it. The weight of the battle. The pressure to conform. The relentless attacks on our minds, our faith, and our purpose.

But we must remember this: We were chosen for such a time as this.

From the foundation of the world, God handpicked His elect. Not because of our own strength, but because He foreknew our faithfulness. Long before we were born, He knew we would stand for Him again in this age. That is why Satan fights us with everything he has. He does not wage war against those who are spiritually dead—he goes after the living.

The enemy wants us to forget who we are. He wants us to compromise, to become weary, and to shrink back. But we cannot afford to be silent, passive, or complacent. Now is the time to awaken. Now is the time to walk in our divine calling.

This teaching is a reminder—a battle cry to the elect. It is a call to rise above the distractions and deceptions of this world, to reclaim our authority in Christ, and to stand firm in the truth. We were never meant to blend in with this world. We were meant to stand apart.

Let us step forward with boldness, clothed in the full armor of God, prepared to endure, fight, and ultimately reign with Christ.

This is our time to arise.

Opening Prayer: A Prayer for the Elect to Arise

Heavenly Father,

I come before You, lifting up Your chosen ones—those whom You have predestined before the foundation of the world, set apart for Your divine purpose.

Lord, awaken Your elect. Stir within them a holy awareness of who they are in You. Remove every veil of deception that the enemy has placed over their minds, causing them to forget their identity in Christ. Let the scales fall from their eyes so they may see clearly and walk boldly in the authority You have given them.

I pray for divine protection over each one of them, for we know that the enemy fiercely opposes those who carry revelation. He seeks to silence, distract, and destroy, but Your Word declares that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Guard their hearts and minds, Father, and strengthen them for the battles ahead.

Grant them wisdom and discernment, that they may not be deceived by false teachers, religious spirits, or wolves in sheep’s clothing. Let them walk in the light of Your truth, guided by the Holy Spirit, and remain steadfast in their faith.

Father, let this be the hour that Your elect rise up with boldness, power, and unwavering faith. May they step into their divine calling, shining as beacons of truth in a dark and deceived world.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Strangers in a Foreign Land: Our True Home is in God's Kingdom

Many believers feel a deep sense of displacement in this world. This is not by accident—it is because our true citizenship is in heaven. The fierce opposition we face in this life is a direct result of our spiritual identity. We are the elect, chosen before time began, because we stood with God in the first earth age. This truth is why Satan fights us relentlessly—he remembers our faithfulness and seeks to break us.

Yet, our inheritance is not in this fallen world. God alone is our portion, our satisfaction, and our eternal home. Though our flesh may not remember, our spirit knows what it is to dwell in His presence. As 1 Peter 2:9 reminds us:

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."

1. We Are in the World, But Not of It

Pilgrims Passing Through: Our Place in This World

We occupy space in this world, but we do not belong to it. We struggle here because we were never meant to conform to its system. The world does not understand us, nor can it accept us, because we have been set apart. God chose us knowing that we would choose Him again.

Jesus Himself warned us in John 15:18-19:

"If the world hates you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

The rejection we face is not a sign of failure—it is confirmation of our calling. We were never meant to blend in but to stand apart. We are in this world on divine assignment as ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Application: How Do We Live as the Elect?

? Renew Your Mind Daily – Saturate yourself in God’s Word so that the world does not shape your thinking.

? Refuse Compromise – Do not lower your standards to be accepted by the world.

? Walk in Boldness – Stand firm in your identity in Christ and proclaim the truth without fear.

2. The Hidden War Against the Elect

📖 Ephesians 6:12 – "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

🔥 Satan does not attack the lukewarm. He attacks the elect.

🔥 He does not fight the dead. He fights the living.

🔥 He does not war against those who belong to the world. He wars against those who belong to Christ.

📖 1 Peter 5:8 – "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

The enemy’s greatest weapon against the elect is deception. If he can make us forget who we are, he can neutralize our power.

How to Overcome:

? Put on the Whole Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

? Fight with the Word – Speak the promises of God over your life.

? Stay in Prayer – Your connection with God is your greatest defense.

? Walk in Authority – Command the enemy to flee in Jesus’ name (Luke 10:19).

3. Strangers and Pilgrims: Seeking a Better Country

📖 Hebrews 11:13-16 – "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth... But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city."

From the very beginning, those whom God called and set apart have never truly belonged to this world. Abraham, Moses, Noah, Sarah, and the prophets—all of them lived as foreigners in a land that was not their true home. They endured hardship, persecution, and trials because they had their eyes fixed on something greater. They desired a better country—a heavenly one.

Like them, we are merely passing through this world. Our time on earth is temporary, and we must not lose sight of our eternal inheritance. The struggles we face, the rejection from the world, and the battles against sin and darkness are all reminders that we are not meant to settle here. We were made for something far greater—eternity with God.

📖 Colossians 3:1-2 – "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

This verse is a direct command to the elect: Seek what is above. Set your focus on the eternal. We are not to live as those who are tied to this world, chasing after material wealth, worldly success, or fleeting pleasures. Instead, we must live as those whose home is in heaven, constantly looking forward to the kingdom that is to come.

What Does It Mean to Be a Pilgrim?

The Bible often describes God’s people as pilgrims—those who are traveling through a foreign land on their way home. The journey is long, and the road is often difficult, but we do not travel in vain.

1 Peter 2:11 –

"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul."

🔹 Meaning: Peter is reminding believers that this world is not our permanent home. As pilgrims (temporary travelers), we should not become entangled in the desires of the flesh but instead live with an eternal focus.

🔹 Pilgrims do not put their roots down in a foreign land.

Just as Abraham lived in tents, moving from place to place without ever fully settling, we too must remember that this world is not our permanent home. We are here on assignment, not for comfort.

🔹 Pilgrims travel light—they do not get attached to earthly things.

Jesus warned us not to store up treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy (Matthew 6:19-21). The things of this world—money, fame, possessions—are all temporary. They will pass away, but what we store in heaven will last forever.

🔹 Pilgrims keep their eyes fixed on their true destination.

A traveler does not get distracted by detours or obstacles. He keeps his focus on where he is going. In the same way, we must stay focused on the kingdom of God, resisting distractions and temptations that pull us away from our true purpose.

Application: How Do We Live as Pilgrims?

? Do not get attached to temporary things.

Material wealth, success, and earthly achievements are not our ultimate goal. We must learn to hold them loosely and prioritize what truly matters—our relationship with God and our obedience to Him.

? Live with an eternal mindset.

Every decision we make should be filtered through the lens of eternity. Does this glorify God? Does this bring me closer to Him? Does this align with my heavenly calling? These are the questions we must constantly ask ourselves.

? Seek first the Kingdom of God.

📖 Matthew 6:33 – "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Our first priority must always be God’s kingdom. When we pursue His will above all else, everything else falls into place.

The Pilgrim’s Reward: A Heavenly City

📖 Revelation 21:2-4 – "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

This is our promise. This is what we are journeying toward. A city where God Himself will dwell with us. A place where sorrow, pain, and death will be no more.

The saints before us endured hardships and trials because they had faith in the promise of God. We too must endure, knowing that what awaits us far outweighs anything we could ever experience on this earth.

Conclusion: We Are Pilgrims on a Journey

The Bible clearly teaches that we are pilgrims, strangers, and sojourners in this world. Our real citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and we must live with an eternal mindset, not being entangled in the temporary things of this life.

🔥 The world may reject us, but the kingdom welcomes us.

🔥 The journey may be hard, but the destination is worth it.

🔥 We are on a journey toward God’s kingdom.

🔥 We must live as those who belong to Him, not the world.

🔥 One day, our pilgrimage will end, and we will dwell with Him forever!

📖 Colossians 3:2 – "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."
