I read a story about a very popular song from years ago. Seems the man was leaving the hospital where his wife had just passed away. This man was in southern Florida. He was driving on I-75 north bound. He noticed that all the cars traveling had northern states tags on them. There were cars from Michigan. A little farther down the road, he saw cars from Indiana, Ohio, Maine and New York. With tears in his eyes he realized: SEEMS A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE WERE HEADED HOME. He pulled the car over and penned the song: THERE ARE A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE HEADED HOME.

LEADERSHIP SAYS: WHEN THE REASON I AM STANDING STANDS BY ME. GOD, YOUR BROOK HAS DRIED UP. WHERE IS THE UBER BIRD…? HEAR MY STOMACH GROWL. WIDOW WOMAN, YOU HAVE A HAND FUL OF MEAL, BUT SOMEONE IS STANDING BY YOU AND YOUR SON.

1 Kings 17:15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
PREACHER THERE IS SOMEONE WHO CARES FOR YOU! THE WIDOW AND HER SON… GOD IS STANDING BY YOU.
LEADERSHIP MUST BY FAITH BELIEVE IT MIGHT LOOK OVER BUT GOD DOES HIS BEST WORK. BY FAITH TRUST IT IS NOT OVER. GOD IS STANDING NEXT TO YOU.
LEADERSHIP KNOWS SOMETHING WILL TELL BOAZ TO LEAVE HANDS FULL ON PURPOSE. SOMEONE IS STANDING NEXT TO A LITTLE MOABITE LADY AND WILL HELP HER. NO ONE STANDS ALONE.
Ruth 2:16 And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.
Ruth 2:16 (NASB) "Also you shall purposely pull out for her some grain from the bundles and leave it that she may glean, and do not rebuke her."
LEADERSHIP: KNOWS WHEN EVERYONE IS AGAINST ME, GOD STANDS WITH ME. CAN YOU SLEEP IN THE LION’S DEN? DANIEL DID GOD’’S ANGELS STAND BY YOU? YES, GOD STOOD BY ME… BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN HIS GOD.
Daniel 6:2O And when he (THE King) came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. 22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. 23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
DANIEL LEARNED BY PRAYER GOD STANDS WITH HIM.
LEADERSHIP? THERE IS SOMEONE STANDING BY YOU. GOD DOES HIS BEST WORK WHEN JOB’S FRIENDS ARE MEAN.
Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
LEADERSHIP: THERE IS SOMEONE STANDING BY ME. HOW MANY DID WE THROW IN THE FIRE? THERE IS A FOURTH MAN IN THE FIRE. THE FOURTH MAN LOOKS LIKE THE SON OF GOD.
Daniel 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
LEADERSHIP: JONAH TRIES HIS BEST TO RUN AWAY FROM GOD… BUT SOEONE WAS STANDING BY JONAH SPENT 3 DAYS AND NIGHTS IN THE FISHES BELLY.
Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Jonah 2:10 And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
WHEN GOD STANDS BY YOU IN THE FISH’S BELLY.
Jonah 3:1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, 2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
CONCLUSION: EVERY DEVIL AND DEMON LAUGHED, IT’S OVER. THEY DIDN’T KNOW THE THIRD DAY WAS COMING AND THE BORROWED TOMB WOULD CHANGE. THERE IS SOMEONE WHO CARES, SOMEONE WHO SHARES…. THERE IS SOMEONE STANDING BY YOU, LEADERSHIP TAKES THE STONES AND ROCKS THAT OTHER PEOPLE THROW AT YOU AND BUILD AN ETERNAL ALTAR TO GOD… I SEE JESUS. STANDING AT THE FATHER’S RIGHT HAND.
