TRUST? CAN GOD? GOD CAN!

I am told of an upper level Biology class at a big university. Seems the students were studying frogs. The student cut the legs off a big frog. They then told the frog to jump. They told the frog to jump several times. They even yelled to the frog: WE TOLD YOU TO JUMP! The frog never moved. The class discussed what they had learned. Their conclusion was clear. The frog was deaf, he could not hear them say “JUMP.” Often it is easy to “jump to invalid conclusions and make wrong presumptions.” “CAN GOD? OR GOD CAN!” DO WE REALIZE OUR ATTITUDES WILL DETERMINE OUR ALTITUDE?
SEEMS THERE GROWS A TENDENCY TO WALK AFTER THE FLESH TO BE PRESUMPTUOUS AND SELF-WILLED TO DENY THE POWER OF GOD. This could be the year, this could be the day…
2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. DELIVERANCE WILL COME IN GOD’S TIMING. MOSES LEARNED THAT LIFE IS ABOUT SEASONS AND RECORDS SOME STRANGE UNEXPECTED TURNS OF EVENTS THAT FIND GOD HAS A PLAN AND PURPOSE EVEN WHEN WE CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHAT GOD IS DOING. JUST WHEN MOSES GETS COMFORTABLE GOD CHANGES MOSES PLANS TO ACCOMPLISH THE FREEDOM OF GOD’S PEOPLE.
1) MOSES FIRST 40 YEARS HE THOUGHT HE WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL.MOSES’ FIRST 40 YEARS, MOSES LEARNED FROM HIS MOM AND THE FORMAL SCHOOL OF THE PALACE. THESE 40 YEARS WERE EDUCATION PREPARING FOR LEADERSHIP. The very Pharaoh that ordered Moses’ death, paid for his education and training. The stages of life are but temporary.
2) MOSES’ SECOND 40 YEARS MOSES THOUGHT HE WAS A NOBODY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOT BURNING DESERT. Moses established a family. Moses learned to TAKE UP FOR THE UNDERDOG. Moses learned patience and to endure hardships.
3) IN THE LAST 40 YEARS, MOSES LEARNED LIFE WAS ALL ABOUT GOD AND GOD’S PEOPLE. Moses learned God had a plan and a purpose and his life was not self-absorbed but he learned to trust God. God’s leading will deliver…
I AM AN INVALID! I HAVE NO ONE! HEAR ME: I HAVE NO ONE… CAN GOD? GOD CAN!
This could be the day? This could be the year? God is getting us ready to thrive and accept his plan and purpose. 38 years should “GET US READY” for the HEALING… THERE IS A HIDDEN LESSON IN 38 YEARS… CHRONIC ILLNESS… DON’T EVER GIVE UP… THIS TRIAL WE HAVE FACED IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO WALK IN A NEW LIFE STYLE… YOU HAVE TO GET UP…
John 5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
The man sick 38 years has to address: CAN GOD? OR GOD CAN!… ARISE! GET UP! STAND UP!
John 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
CAN GOD? GOD CAN! WHAT DO YOU MEAN GOD: ”RAIN.” IT HAS NEVER RAINED BEFORE? GOD HAS A PLAN! ALL BUT 8 REJECT THE PLAN…
Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Good is not bound by history or man’s opinions. Can god? God can! THE RAIN STOPPED…
Genesis 7:16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
GOD COMES INTO A COVENANT AGREEMENT WITH ALL MAN KIND. GOD DID IT.
Genesis 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
CAN GOD? GOD CAN! A MIRACLE WILL OCCUR BECAUSE SOMEONE TOLD THE LADY OF JESUS, GOD’S SON. 12 YEARS THIS LADY HAS BEEN SICK. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED. HER ISSUE OF BLOOD CAUSED HER TO BE WEAK AND DISQUALIFIED FROM PUBLIC WORSHIP. COULD THIS BE THE DAY? THIS COULD BE THE YEAR?
THERE IS POWER IN TESTIMONIES. One day this woman woke up sick. She heard God can! No one can deter her from her miracle. She never even talked to Jesus… ONE TOUCH OF THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT --- SHE LEARNED THAT GOD CAN. Every doubt of CAN GOD FLED… her miracle came by pressing through the crowd..
Mark 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
DANIEL MADE A HABIT OF PRAYER 3 TIMES A DAY. CAN GOD? GOD CAN! DANIEL MADE A DECLARATION OF ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE AND FAITH WHEN HE OPENED HIS WINDOW TO PRAY. Today might be the day.
Daniel believed that God can handle this situation and he did not need to hide in a closet and pray in secret.

Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
CAN GOD? DANIEL HAD NO FEAR OR DOUBT TO THE POINT THAT EVEN THE KING BELIEVED GOD CAN!
Daniel 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
GOD CAN! DANIEL BELIEVED IN HIS GOD…
Daniel 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. 23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
NOT TO WORRY THE MEN AND FAMILIES THAT PLOTTED AND DOUBTED GOD WOULD PAY DEARLY… BECAUSE GOD CAN!
Daniel 6:24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.
JESUS NEVER DOUBTED CAN GOD? … JESUS KNEW GOD CAN?!JESUS WAS HUNGRY…
1) THE ENEMY SAID: COMMAND THESE STONES TO BECOME BREAD AND EAT… THE ENEMY MISUSED GOD’S POWER TO MEET PERSONAL NEEDS.
2) THE ENEMY TRIES TO GET JESUS TO ABUSE HIS POWERS TO ENTERTAIN AND ACCEPT POPULARITY …
3) THE ENEMY OFFERED AN EARTHLY KINGDOM AND POLITICAL POWER.
JESUS NEVER ACCEPTED CAN GOD… JEUS KNEW GOD COULD BECAUSE HE KNEW THE WORD OF GOD --- IT IS WRITTEN. WHEN WE KNOW GOD’S WORDS WE WILL ALWAYS TRUST GOD’S PLAN. The enemy attacked Jesus when he was weak. THE WORD OF GOD DECLARES THE WORK OF GOD.
THE ENEMY DEPARTS… FOR A SEASON… KNOW IT IS NOT CAN GOD… IT IS GOD CAN!
Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
CONCLUSION: Your attitude will determine your altitude. Can god? God can!
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
