2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
THE BEST IS YET TO COME! JUST DO WHATEVER JESUS SAYS TO DO…JOHN RECORDS MARY WAS INVITED TO A WEDDING IN LOWER GALILEE, IN CANA. JESUS AND HIS DISCIPLES WERE INVITED TO THIS WEDDING. JESUS GAVE HIS APPROVAL OF MARRIAGE AS ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN BY ATTENDING. THE WEDDING ON THE SURFACE APPEARED TO BE GOING GREAT.
Something was wrong. Two families will be disgraced by poor planning. Even the Governor and the elite were in attendance… SOMETHING HAPPENED THAT WOULD MAKE THE NEWLY WEDS ASHAMED. They would BE THE LAUGHING STOCK OF CANA.
John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
SEEMS THERE WERE 6 EMPTY WATER POTS… ABOUT 120 TO 150 GALLONS OF WATER WAS NEEDED… JESUS CLEARLY STATES FILL THIS EMPTY WATER POTS. EMPTY? Get the water hoses? No. the water had to be hand carried and besides that the water pots had to be filled to the brim. Now what do we have 150 gallons of well water? How will that help this young couple?
This couple will be so embarrassed as the servants carry well water to the Governor’s table. But as MARY STATED: DO IT. Because of obedience and hard work… the DO IT brought the BEST IS YET TO COME. It appears the disgrace of running out was averted, THE BEST WAS YET TO COME.
DECLARE IT. I HAVE SOME VERSES I WANT TO SHARE AND PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER AS PERSONAL TO YOU, YOUR CHURCH AND YOUR FAMILY. WE MUST CONSIDER FILLING THE WATER POTS AND ACCEPTING GOD’S PLANS. WILL WE ACCEPT THE PROMISE LAND AS OURS?
I CLAIM THIS PROMISE IN A PERSONAL WAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY! MY CHURCH!

Isaiah 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
I CLAIM THIS PROMISE IN A PERSONAL WAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. MY CHURCH.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
DECLARE IT… I AM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL!! FETCH ME? ALL I HAVE IS A HANDFUL OF MEAL? HEY PREACHER, YOU ARE ASKING A LOT FROM ME… FIRST OFF I AM FROM ZAREPHATH…
By faith Elijah knows: THE BEST IS YET TO COME. Elijah requested a drink of water. Then ELIJAH says I am hungry, feed me… Elijah is a Jew, the widow is a Gentile? We don’t know her name, but we do KNOW THERE IS JUST A HANDFUL OF MEAL.
1 Kings 17:10 So he (Elijah) arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME… GOD DOES NOT NEED A GROCERY STORE… THE BEST CAN BE FOULD IN A HANDFUL OF MEAL. WHAT A SACRIFICE?
DECLARE IT? YOU MUST LEARN THIS: GOD IS NOT SUBJECT TO MAN’S LIMITATIONS… THE BEST IS YET TO COME! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF GROWING CLOTHES AND SHOES THAT WILL LAST 40 YEARS IN THE DESERT?
Exodus 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
Deuteronomy 29:5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
I DECLARE IT… I REFUSE TO LISTEN TO THOSE THAT TELL ME SHUT UP… I DECLARE MY MIRACLE…THE BEST IS YET TO COME… DECLARE IT… REFUSE TO LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE NAYSAYERS. I REFUSE TO BE QUIET!
Luke 18:38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
AM I GOING IN MY TENT AND CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP? OR WILL I ACCEPT THE BEST IS YET TO COME? THE ENEMY OF GOD’S PEOPLE USES FEAR AND WORRY TO MOCK GOD’S PEOPLE.I DECLARE THE BEST IS YET TO COME… I REFUSE TO PLAY YHE MOODS OF FEAR, DOUBT, WORRY, DEPRESSION --- THE ENEMY USES THESE TOOLS AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE… IF YOU LISTEN TO 80 NEGATIVE MESSAGES YOU WILL CRY.
1 Samuel 17:16 And the Philistine (Goliath) drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
DOUBT, FEAR AND WORRY PLAY MIND GAMES AGAINST FAITH.
1 SAMUEL 17:23 And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.
FAITH SEES BEYOND THE OBSTACLES. DAVID KNEW HIS TWISTED JOURNEY WAS GOD PREPARING HIS FAITH TO DEFEAT THE GIANT.
1 Samuel 17:34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
DAVID’S FAITH DECLARED THE BEST IS YET TO COME. THE SONG SHALL CHANGE TO DAVID AND HIS 10,000’S.
1 Samuel 17:40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
WE MUST KNOW THE BEST IS YET TO COME WHEN WE OPERATE IN POWER, LOVE AND A SOUND MIND.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
