Jesus wants us to learn the lesson of DIVINE TIMING, PERSISTENCE AND TO NEVER GIVE UP.
My friend we will face anger, discouragement, bitterness, disappointments and the feelings of hopelessness and helplessness.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
THERE ARE MANY HIDDEN LESSONS IN THE BIBLE…. DIG DEEP WELLS AND WAIT ON GOD.
One important lesson is found in 2 Kings 8. GOD ‘S DIVINE PROVISIONS CAN COME FROM THE UNEXPECTED SOURCE AT UNEXPECTEDTIMES. We must be persistent and never give up. WE MUST DIG THE WELL DEEPER. DEEPER THE LAW OF GOD HAS A PRIORITY SYSTEM FEW EVER LEARN. THE KEEPER OF THE LAW WAS TO PLACE WIDOWS AND ORPHANES.
ELISHA WARNS THE WIDOW TO TAKE HER SON AND FLEE BECAUSE THE FAMINE AND DROUGHT WAS COMING AND DEATH WOULD BE IN THE CAMP PF GOD.
2 Kings 8:1 Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.
IN ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE THE WIDOW AND HER SON DID AS ELISHA SAID AND LIVED 7 YEARS IN PHILISTINE COuNTRY.
2 Kings 8:2 And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years
AFTER SEVEN YEARS, GOD SPEAKS, IT IS TIME…. IT IS TIE RETURN HOME.
2 Kings 8:3 And it came to pass at the seven years' end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.
NOW LET US FAST FORWARD 7 YEARS. THE WIDOW LADY AND HER SON COME HOME TO FIND HER LAND AND HOUSE HAD BEEN TAKEN OVER AND THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE HAD TAKEN OWNERSHIP AND WOULD NOT RETURN HER PROPERTY TO HER.
TALK ABOUT DIVINE TIMING. JUST SO HAPPENS IN THE CONVERSATION WITH THE KING AND GEHAZI. THE KING IS TALKING TO GEHAZ.I ELISHA SERVANT. THEY WERE DISCUSSING THE MIRACLES GEHAZI SAW. THE AXE HEAD SWIMMING, NAAMAN, THE POISON IN THE POT ETC. GEHAZI STARTS TO TELL THE KING ABOUT THE WIDOW WOMAN AND HER SON RAISED FROM THE DEAD.
THE KING HAS A DESIRE TO HEAR ABOUT ELISHA ANND THE MIRACLES. TELL ME… TESTIFY OF GOR’S GOODNESS.
2 Kings 8:4 And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.
BY CHANCE AS THE TOPIC OF THE WIDOW LADY’S SON WAS BEING SPOKEN … TALK ABOUT DIVINE TIMING… THIS SCRIP IS UNREAL… THE WIDOW AND HER SON WALKED IN… THIS IS THE WOMAN AND HER SON… ONLY WAY WE CAN EXPLAIN THIS IS DIVINE TIMING… THE WINDOW Of OPPORTUNITY OF 10 MINUTeS.
2 Kings 8:5 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.
THE WIDOW AND HER MIRACLE SON --- RESTORE NOT ONLY THIS YEAR, BUT GO BACK AND RESTORE ALL THAT WAS TAKEN FRO THIS LADY AND HER SON…
2 Kings 8:6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
WANT TO TALK ABOUT DIVINE TIMING…??? CHOICES???
There is a young widow lady and by the way she has no place to live. This young woman’s husband died after her father in law and brother in law died. NOW WHAT?
THIS YOUNG WIDOW WOMAN GIVES ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS SPEECHS A WOMAN MADE IN THE BIBLE.
Ruth 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
DREAMS MAY COME TRUE BUT YOU MUST GET OFF THE COUCH AND DO SOMETHING...
Ruth 2:2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
DIVINE TIMING HAPPENS WHERE HUMAN PREPARATIONS AND GOOD ATTITUDES COME TOGETHER. HAND FULS OF PURPOSE… GOD’S PLAN, DIVINE TIMING…
There were 100’s of fields ready to harvest. Where shall we go? GUESS WHAT? GOD IS IN THIS FIELD.
Ruth 2:14 And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. 15 And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not: 16 And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.
17 So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.
18 And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.
THIS HAND FULLS OF PURPOSE WE PART OF GD’S PLAN.
RUTH 4:19 And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.
20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.
21 And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest. 22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field. 23 So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.
Ruth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
Ruth 4:17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.
CONCLUSION: BE PATIENT WAIT, GOD’S TIMING BY FAITH. RUTH IS MENTIONED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.
