WHEN EVERYTHING IS DARK WE NEED SOMEONE TO SPEAK LIGHT.
What do we do when darkness is smothering us…WORDS HAVE ILLUMINATING OR DISCOURAGING POWER… THERE ARE GREAT POWER IN WORDS, SPOKEN OR WRITTEN.HOW WILL WE RESPOND TO NEGATIVITY? WORDS CAN STIR UP MESSES BY BEING MEAN AND ANGRY… WORDS CAN BRING COMPASSION AND KINDNESS…

THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO THE WORDS WE SPEAK… WORDS CAN BRING TROUBLE AND DEATH… DO WE ALLOW OUR EMOTIONS TO DICTATE DARK WORDS?

WHEN WE REALIZE THE POWER OF OUR WORDS… WE CAN LISTEN TO GOD’S PLAN AND OBEY…

THE POWER OF WORDS AND CONSEQUENCE CAN BE REVERSED TODAY NOT JUST IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.

THE LOUDEST PERSON JUST MIGHT NOT BE THE SMARTEST PERSON IN THE ROOM? ARGUMENTIVE? LOUD? OBNOXIOUS, NEGATIVITY CAN BE DARK TRAPS.

Is it possible to be correct and not be right? THERE WAS A MAN EATING IN A FANCY RESTAURANT THAT SERVED FROG LEGS. He overheard the owner say how hard it was to get good fresh frog legs. The man offered to supply the owner 100 sets a frog legs a week. The man said I hear all the cloaking of frogs all night. They agreed. The farmer went out to his pond frog gigging expecting to find 1,000s of frogs. ALL HE COULD FIND WAS 2 BIG OLD FAT FROGS MAKING A LOT OF NOISE. He explained to the restaurant you would not believe how much noise two old frogs can make.
MARK THOSE THAT CAUSE DIVISION… AVOID THEM…
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Romans 16:17 (NLT2) And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. 18 Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.
CONCLUSION: If you don’t hang around and start trouble, you will have little trouble. Trouble has a way of finding trouble. BE PREPARED TO GET IN TROUBLE AND HAVE A DOG BITE? TAKE HEED! USE CAUTION! We must guard our words and use our brain before we open our mouth.
