BY FAITH WE KNOW WE HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR

WE ARE NOT HERE TODAY TO ARGUE OR PROVE SOMEONE RIGHT AND OTHERS WRONG… OUR POINT IS VERY SIMPLE
Evil seems to abound in this modern world. We also know FEAR IS GREAT TOOL IN THE ENEMY’S WARFARE. “Fear not” is one of the most repeated phrases of the Bible. We also know that this phrase is an imperative command. FEAR NOT is really a difficult command to keep. We also know FEAR is a lack of trust and faith that is an all-out attack to separate people from God.
*I have often heard that there are 366 “FEAR NOTS” in the Bible. One for each day of the year including leap years. One accurate source says there are “71 FEAR NOTS”
We know: FEAR YE NOT 8x’s ---- BE NOT AFRAID 26x’s --- none shall make you afraid 1 x --- not be afraid 13x’s
Nor be afraid 2x’s --- dread not 2x’s --- neither fear 2x’s --- neither/nor/not be dismayed 10x’s
Other words like be of good courage, have faith are in the Bible. (Edison)
*Another report says: DO NOT BE AFRAID 33x’s --- FEAR NOT 302x’s ---- Be anxious for nothing 1x --- Do not fear 66x’s --- Do not worry 24 x’s --- I will not fear 3x’s --- I will not be afraid 2 x’s --- Do not be dismayed 99x’s.
*Still another report says: Fear not is in the KJV 170x’s and there are many variations so maybe 365 is possible.
ALL FEAR AND ALL WORRY ARE ABSOLUTELY A WASTE OF TIME AND MENTAL STRESS. WE SEE IN THE BIBLE THAT FAITH TRUST GOD AND FEAR IS COUNTER –PRODUCTIVE TO GOD’S PLAN.
MASTER, DON’T YOU CARE? TALK ABOUT A STUPID CONCLUSION? THEY ALLOW THE STORM TO UPSET THEIR EMOTIONS AND CAUSE THEM TO THINK THE BOAT WAS SINKING…

THE WOMEN WITNESS THE DEATH AND BURIAL… THEY WORRIED ALL NIGHT, FEAR DOMINATED THEIR VISION. WHO?

GOD HAD ALREADY INTERVENED --- WHY FEAR? WHY WORRY?
Mark 16:5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
GOD KNOWS YOUR VALUE, FEAR NOT MY FRIENDS, GOD IS IN CONTROL OF THE SMALL THINGS.
Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
GOD KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE AND HE PROMISES HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU… A CHECK IS ONLY GOOD AS THE DEPOSIT. WHY WORRY AND FRET… NO FEAR!
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
DON’T LIVE IN FEAR, GOD KNOWS YOUR NEED… JUST BE OBEDIENT!
1 Kings 17:13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
FEAR? WHY WHEN WE TRUST GOD? WHEN I A WEAK --- HE IS STRONG… FEAR? DO YOU KNOW HOW WEAK AND TIRED I AM? SURE, GOD KNOWS --- HE SIMPLY SAYS TRUST ME…
Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Isaiah 40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
OFTEN WE FOCUS ON THE OBSTACLES… FEAR NOT … DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN THE PREACHER’S SERVANT LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND SAW HOW MANY AND HOW STRONG THE ENEMY WAS?
2 Kings 6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
WHERE THERE IS LOVE WE HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR…
1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
FEAR NOT, YOU CAN DO --- IF YOU WANT TO… the question might be do you want to enough to step out in faith?
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
WHAT DO WE FEAR? ARE WE SEARCHING FOR POPULARITY AND APPLAUSE… TEMPORAL OR ETERNAL??
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
MIGHT HAVE TO WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY --- BUT IF GOD IS WITH ME… WHAT HAVE I TO FEAR?
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
WHEN FEAR TRIES TO DESTROY ME --- THE LORD IS MY HOPE... I SEEK THE LORD.
Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
WHEN I AM AFRAID --- I KNOW THE DELIVERER.
Psalm 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psalm 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
CONCLUSION: WHAT HAVE I TO DREAD? WHAT HAVE I TO FEAR…. I AM LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS OF A MIGHTY GOD…
Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
