John 1:4-5 (NLT) "The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it."
In John's Gospel, we read that "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Here, John beautifully depicts Jesus Christ as the source of life and light. Just as light dispels darkness, Christ's presence in our lives illuminates our path and reveals truth, bringing hope and salvation to a world lost in darkness.
1 John 1:5-7 (NLT) "This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
