WHEN MY HEART HANGS LOW: THERE HAS TO BE A RAINBOW SOMEWHERE!

ARE WE FACING METAL BARS? MAYBE OUR BARS ARE MENTAL? WHAT IS HOLDING ME BACK?
WHEN THE HEAVENS SEEM LIKE BRASS AND THE EARTH IS IRON… GOD LOVES TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Do I believe that my prayers are going UN-ANSWERED? Our faith is going to be CHALLENGED? Has DRAMA and CONFLICT distorted God’s promises? Seems the news is so negative and depressing. The same storms seems to circle around us time after time. Am I forever stuck here? Will my family live in this valley?
Deuteronomy 28:23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.
Deuteronomy 28:23 (MSG) The sky over your head will become an iron roof, the ground under your feet, a slab of concrete.
Deuteronomy 28:23 (NLT2) The skies above will be as unyielding as bronze, and the earth beneath will be as hard as iron.
WE DEMAND GOD EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON? FARTHER ALONG WE WILL KNOW ALL ABOUT IT.
*Tempted and tried we are oft made to wonder: WHY? WHY it should be…?
*While there are others living about us… they seem so happy?
*WHEN DEATH HAS COME AND TAKEN OUR LOVED ONES --- It leaves us lonely and drear.
*TOILS OF THE ROAD WILL THEN SEEM AS NOTHING --- going through the gates of pearl.
IT IS NOT HOW MUCH WATER OUR BOAT IS IN--- IT IS HOW MUCH WATER IS IN OUR BOAT. ARE WE FACING RAGING STORMS THAT WILL SINK OUR BOATS OF HOPE? HAVE YOU EVER FELT SO HEAVY AND DEPRESSED THAT YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THE WORLD IS FALLING APART?
We must stand on the promises of God. We are not alone. This storm is not meant to drown us. Jesus promised: I will never leave you or forsake you.
WE HAVE GOOD NEWS YOU CAN USE IF YOU CHOOSE. JESUS DESIRES TO REASSURE US WHEN IT IS OVER OUR HEADS IT IS UNDER HIS FEET. WHERE WILL I INVEST MY TRUST?
My friend, TRUST GOD’S WORD THE DARK NIGHT AND THE DARK CLOUDS WILL PASS. Our emotions will play mind games with us. We may not feel the V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! Our enemy desires to BLIND AND DESTROY US.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5 (MSG) Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own.
6 Listen for GOD's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track.
Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
DO I REALLY BELIEVE THIS TRIAL IS A BLESSING? BLESSED ASSURANCE, THIS STORM WAS MEANT TO MAKE US STRONGER AND TO TRUST GOD BY FAITH.
Whose report will we believe? The doctor? Medicine? The computer? Our feelings? are? What you will believe? Your report will determine who you are?
Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
THE SUN (SON) MAYBE HID BY THE DARK CLOUDS OF HEAVY, SEEMINGLY ENDLESS STORMS AND TRIALS.
God’s promises are sure, T&P, tried and proven. God has a reassuring RAINBOW THAT NORMALLY FOLLOWS THE STORMS.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Ephesians 3:20 (MSG) God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
BY FAITH WE KNOW THAT “WE KNOW” THIS STORM WILL PASS. THERE HAS TO BE AN END TO THE STORM. RAINBOWS ARE GOD’S ASSURANCE… YOU WILL NEVER SEE A RAINBOW WITH YOUR HEAD HANGING DOWN.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
JESUS TAKES PRIDE IN HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS PEOPLE. DO YOU BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD THAT CARES AND WILL MAKE A WAY OF ESCAPE? THIS STORM CAN PRODUCE A REASSURING RAINBOW.
I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. God is not hiding from us in our storms. We have a Bible that leads from Genesis to Revelation. God is moving when he appears invisible. It may seem the dark clouds and strong winds are driving us away from God.
Peter would have never tried walking on the water had it not been for THE STORM.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 14:18 (MSG) "I will not leave you orphaned. I'm coming back.
WE HAVE A SURE SIGN THAT GOD NEVER FORGETS HIS PEOPLE. THE RAINBOW IS A SPIRITUAL PROMISE OF NEW HOPE, CHANGE AND NEW BEGINNINGS TO ENCOURAGE US TO GROW! THE RAINBOW DOES NOT SPEAK OF OUR ABILITIES. THE RAINBOW SPEAKS OF GOD’S UNLIMITED POWER.
Genesis 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
Genesis 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
Genesis 9:16 (MSG) When the rainbow appears in the cloud, I'll see it and remember the eternal covenant between God and everything living, every last living creature on Earth."
God made an eternal covenant or a CONTRACT. 7 COLORS IN THE RAINBOW: orange, indigo, violet, yellow, red, green and blue. WE TEND TO FOCUS ON THE STORM, GOD SAYS REMEMBER THE CONTRACT.
GOD’S SON WILL SHINE NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL OR WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE MAY BE. THIS STORM MAY BRING THE GLORY TO HIS NAME: before the storm, during the storm and after the storm.
We don’t have to live in fear and worry. Raise your head, focus on the rainbow of hope. LIFT UP YOUR HEAD… GOD PROMISED NEVER EVER AGAIN… You will miss the promise if your head hangs low.
Psalm 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Do you want to develop God skills? 1. Look up. 2. Never look back. 3. Never give up, never quit. Remember the perception that we carry. The Cock Roach theory: Scream and holler vs calmly deal with this problem. My friend it might be a bitter cold season but JOY IS COMING IN THE MORNING.
