THE DIM LIGHT

I have an expensive flash light. The batteries are almost dead. The light is very dim. Do we throw the flash light away? NEVER! We replace the batteries to give a brighter light. (Recharge?)
AA: ATTENTION and AFFECTION.
AAA: ACCEPTANCE, ATTENTION and AFFECTION.
C: COMPASSION.
D: DIRECTION.
GOD’S PLANS AND PROPHECY FOR THE CHURCH IS NOT PANIC, FEAR, DOOM AND GLOOM. GOD’S PLAN IS THAT WE TRUST HIM AND GET PREPARED. KNOW THE SIGNS OF THE TIME.
Luke 21:9 but when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
ONE MUST PLAY THE CARDS THAT LIFE GIVES. LIFE IS ABOUT YOUR CHOICES. WE HAVE LEARNED HOW UNFAIR LIFE CAN BE.
I understand very little about playing cards. I can turn the TV on and watch people playing. The cards are dealt out. The stats say the one player has 0 chance of winning. The announcer says “the player is drawing dead.” He bets. He raises and raises again. The player with the winning hand folds. The doomed loser wins a pot of $500,000. He refuses to show his hand. He has BUFFED the winning hand. The winner loses. The loser wins. I just can’t understand?
BEAUTY IS IN THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER? WE ALL HAVE OBSTACLES, TRIALS, DISTRACTIONS AND DISAPPOINTMENTS BEHIND US AND BEFORE US. THE SAME STONE CAN BE A STUMBLING BLOCK OR A STEPPING STONE. CHOICES?
CRY HAS 3 LETTERS, JOY HAS 3 LETTERS.
HATE HAS 4 LETTERS, SO DOES LOVE.
LYING HAS 5 LETTERS, TRUTH HAS 5 LETTERS.
ENEMIES HAS 7 LETTERS, FRIENDS HAS 7 LETTERS.
NEGATIVE HAS 8 LETTERS, POSITIVE HAS 8 LETTERS. CHOICES?
We become what we read? What we discuss? What we listen to?
Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endured to all generations.
HOW EASY IS IT TO FOCUS ON THE REAR VIEW MIRROR OF LIFE AND LIVE IN THE VEIN OF REGRET AND REJECTION. GOD HAS A PLAN: DREAM FORWARD.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
A PREACHERS’ CALL IS NOT TO WEED AND CUT DOWN THE TARES. THE PREACHER MUST LEARN TO FIND STILL WATERS AND TO IRRIGATE DRY, DEAD PLACES TO BRING FORTH LIFE AND FRUIT.
THOMAS SKIPPED PRAYER MEETING. PROFOUND TOUCH?
We don’t know he might have had a good excuse? We don’t know. We do know Thomas missed an opportunity to be profoundly touched by the risen Savior. Thomas’ last name was forever changed from Thomas Didymus to THOMAS THE DOUBTER. Thomas’ absence caused him to miss the blessing.
John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU? GOD GIVES HIS BEST!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
COME WITH ME AND HEAR: GOD THINKS ABOUT YOU.
Psalm 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
THINK ABOUT IT: GOD KNOWS YOUR NAME AND YOUR FRAME.
Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
DID YOU KNOW THAT JESUS SAYS HE WILL NEVER EVER LEAVE YOU? HE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
DID YOU KNOW YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY? WORRY IS A CHOICE.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
DO WE ACCEPT GOD’S PLAN IS TO GIVE US STRENGTH?
1. Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
GOD PROMISES IF WE WILL KEEP OUR PRIORITIES FOCUSED ON HIM HE WOULD ADD TO US.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
GOD IS MY SAFE PLACE. OUR REFUGE IN A TIME OF TROUBLE.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
HOW IMPORTANT IS PUNCTUATION TO REAL UNDERSTANDING?
Do we know that that chapter numbers and verse numbers and punctuation are not in the original Hebrew Bible? This was left to those that interpreted the word. THERE IS A GROSS MISTAKE IN MANY BIBLES.
Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
The comma in this verse is MISPLACED… It says when the enemy comes in like a flood. THIS IS WRONG. The comma should be: when the enemy comes in, LIKE A FLOOD THE SPIRIT LIFTS UP THE STANDARD.
Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in, like a flood the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
BY MOVING THE COMA THE WHOLE MEANING CHANGES!
WHY DO I FLY AROUND IN CIRCLES? WHY? WHY CAN’T I ACHIEVE? WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT TRYING TO TELL YOU?
Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
SEEMS WE BELIEVE OUR OWN STORIES AND EXCUSES… ARE WE LACKING IN ZEAL, ENTHUSIASM AND EFFORT. LOVE GOD WITH ALL.
Judges 16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.
LIFE IS A MIRROR. WHAT DO WE NEED TO CHANGE?

If the old farm mules looks in the mirror of life he is a fool to expect to see a TRIPLE CROWN THOROUGHBRED WINNER. The mirror may reveal a great disappointment of an old, tired mule.
CONCLUSION: Why would you plant poison ivy and then expect to eat strawberries? My friend we must honestly look into the mirror and do a self-evaluation of what we need to change. We are so blind when we see what everyone else needs to change. I DREAM! I dream of every person pushing the wagon. I dream of what we could accomplish if we quit making the offering of excuses. Are your attitudes, words and behavior limiting what you do?
MICHAEL JORDAN SAID: Obstacles and hindrances don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. He said: Figure out how to climb it, go through it or work around it. Don’t be a dim light in the refrigerator.
