WHAT OF MY WORK?… A BROKEN HEART CAN CLEAR UP OUR VISION.

Psalm 66:10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
We are working under the premise: SOMETIMES THE WORSE THING THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN TO YOU CAN BRING ABOUT THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN. Will we trust this battle, this struggle, this hard trial, this broken heart can give birth to new faith and a new hope. Do I believe God can make good come out of this mess? WE ABSOLUTELY TRUST THAT GOD TAKES WHAT OUR ENEMY MEANT TO BRING HARM TO US AND WORK A MIRACLE.
Why? Why God? Why did you allow this rejection to hurt me so bad? Why? Why all this pain and hurt? God will you allow this to destroy me? Why do I have to face this problem? What the enemy meant for harm --- can bring miracles and new directions. My friend, do we understand our FAITH WILL BE TESTED? This crushing might be GOD’S PLAN TO GROW MORE AND LEARN TO DEPEND ON GOD. I have learned several truths in my 71 years. God reveals himself and his powers to draw us closer. How can I tell about healing unless I have been sick? How can I reach people unless I have experienced suffering, hurt and disappointments both in others and in ourselves? THE SAME ISSUES THAT CAN DIVIDE AND DESTROY FAMILIES COULD BRING US TOGETHER. IT IS ALL ABOUT OUR ATTITUDES AND HOW WE HANDLE NEGATIVE PROBLEMS. This is an opportunity to become bitter or better. This is not up to God… THIS IS UP TO YOU. Each hardship we face can be an opportunity to RELEASE A MIRACLE.
Proverbs 17:3 The firing pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts.
HAVE WE EVER CONSIDERED HURT, TRIALS AND SUFFERING IN REAL LIFE… IN THE FAMILY, IN THE CHURCH AND AT WORK… THESE THINGS MAY BE NECESSARY TO GET US WHERE GOD WANTS US. LET US BE REAL, SUFFERING IS A PERSISTENT THEME OF THE BIBLE. TRIALS WILL ALWAYS TEST OUR FAITH.
1 Corinthians 9:24. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
TAKE A DEEP BREATH MY FRIEND… THESE HARDSHIPS AND TRIALS THAT WE ARE FACING COULD BE A TEST. WE ARE JUST IN A BAD SEASON… THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A BAD LIFE.

WE ARE WALKING IN SEASONS, HARD SEASONS THAT CAN DIM OUR VISION. WE MUST NOT ALLOW DIFFICULT DAYS TO CAUSE US TO FORGET HOW BLESSED WE REALLY ARE. HOW ABOUT DECLARING: I AM TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED?
We must not give up. God loves us so much he gave his only son. There is a plan and a purpose. This hurt and struggle could take you to the grave… IF YOU GIVE UP!

CAN THESE CONFLICTS AND PROBLEMS I FACE BE PART OF GOD’S PLANS FOR ME?
LIFE IS A TEST! PROBLEMS AND TRIALS ARE PART OF DAILY LIVING --- LEARN TO ENJOY LIVING WHILE LOOKING FOR THE PLAN FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION. GOD HELP US TO KNOW: WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN SOLVE EVERY PROBLEM!
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Today we might not understand how and where this piece of the puzzle is going to fit. But as the puzzle comes together, the picture becomes clearer. We will understand the BIGGER PICTURE. I am thinking I just don’t understand what is happening. May I suggest just take a deep breath and close your eyes. Then tell your heart: GOD I TRUST YOU AND I KNOW GOD YOU HAVE A PURPOSE. God please help me to BY FAITH TRUST YOUR PLAN.
OFTEN HURT AND DISAPPOINTMENTS BUILD DAMS THAT HINDER GOD’S PLAN. GOD TEACH ME THAT I MUST FORGIVE TO GAIN FORGIVENESS.
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Make a mental note: the Bible does not say there is power of life or death. The Bible records the word AND, (a connecting word) BOTH POWERS ARE IN YOUR TONGUE: DEATH AND LIFE… IT IS UP TO YOU.
SOMETIMES WE MUST DISCIPLINE OUR SELF TO TRUST THAT GOD IS SPEAKING. WE TEND TO TALK TOO MUCH AND PRAY TO LITTLE. BUT GOD… WHEN YOU ARE GOING THROUGH HELL SHUT YOUR MOUTH. PRAYER IS TALKING TO GOD NOT FACEBOOK AND THE TELEPHONE. WE FEED THE MAD-DOG AND ENLARGE THE ENEMY’S POWER.
I have this piece of the puzzle in my hand and I just can’t understand WHY? Why are these things happening? God says: TRUST ME! TRUST ME WITH YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR DAILY LIFE. I CAN’T FIX THIS PROBLEM BUT I CAN PRAY AND WITH PATIENCE I CAN BY FAITH WAIT UNTIL…
LOVE NEVER FAILS… THE TEST IS LOVE VS REVENGE… OUR ENEMY USES HATRED, BITTERNESS AND PROBLEMS TO DETROY THE SAVING OF THE SEED OF JESUS. THE ENEMY TRIED TO DESTROY A FAMILY. GOD USED THE SUFFERING TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PLAN.
JOSEPH’S 10 BROTHERS HAD LET HATRED GROW AND THEY REALLY HURT THEIR BROTHER. BUT NEVER FORGET JOSEPH MADE MISTAKES ALSO… ALL THE HURTS AND BITTERNESS ADDS UP… THIS SUFFERING WAS NOT MEAN, THIS SUFFERING SAVED THE WHOLE FAMILY. Joseph could see the bigger picture. All these problems OPEN DOORS TO MIRACLES.
Genesis 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? 20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. 21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.
IT MAYBE VERY DARK TONIGHT… BUT I HAVE HOPE. HOPE IS BEING ABLE TO TRUST THE LIGHT IN SPITE OF THE DARKNESS THAT IS SMOTHERING US… QUIT STRUGGLING WITH YOUR PROBLEMS… THERE IS HELP!
Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Joel has a lesson. Expect the battle. Joel is saying TRUST GOD’S PLAN. Quit measuring and talking about how weak I am. God gives strength to the weak. The only way we can accept healing is to forgive those that have hurt us. Not only do we need to forgive others, We must learn and practice forgiving ourselves. This thorn is part of GOD’S GROWING PLAN.
WHERE ARE YOU? SPIRITUALLY WHERE ARE YOU? GOD SAYS YOU ARE MY CHILD. JESUS DOES MORE THAN LIKE YOU. JESUS LOVES YOU… WE ARE HIS BELOVED CHILDREN. DO WE THINK THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME TO PUNISH ME?

WHY DO WE HIDE FROM GOD? ARE WE DREADING GOD’S PRESENCE? Seems people grow up in church but they never grow in Christ. We know hymns, but we don’t know him…
JUST BECAUSE BAD THINGS HAVE BEEN HAPPENING AROUND YOU DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN’T ARISE AND HAVE A GOOD ENDING. JUST BECAUSE LIFE HAS KNOCKED YOU DOWN DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN’T GET UP AND TRY AGAIN. Maybe you have taken two steps backwards this does not mean you can’t make progress again. Quit hiding, realize BAD STUFF RELEASES GOD’S BEST.
My friends you are going to face failure, hurt and disappointments on a regular basis? Will my failures leave me vulnerable, hurt and dying? I have fallen and I can’t get up is normally an invalid conclusion. If the truth were known the real conclusion might be: I HAVE FALLEN, I AM HURT. I DON’T WANT TO GET UP.
Failure does not have to affect your life in negative ways. 40% of working people have been fired at least once. Sure the enemy thinks he has defeated us when he knocks us down.
ADVERSITY IS PART OF LIFE… I DON’T CARE WHO YOU ARE ADVERSITY HURTS AND IT IS VERY PAINFUL UNTIL YOU SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE OF LIFE. HOW WILL I DEAL WITH CRITICISM FROM OTHERS AND SELF-CRITICISMS? WE MUST ACKNOWLEDGE GOD’S WORD..
REJECTION MAY BE THE THORN THAT GOD MANEUVERS US TO WHERE HE WANTS US… LIFE IS ABOUT CHOICES. WE WILL APPROACH THIS TROUBLE AS A STUMBLING BLOCK OR AS A STEPPING STONE… THIS IS A DAILY BATTLE WE MUST OVERCOME. The suffering today must not define my total being. I will become a SUM TOTAL OF MY MENIAL DAILY CHOICES. DAVID WOULD HAVE STAYED A SHEPHERD BOY HAD HE NOT FACED GOLIATH.
If we have the wrong attitude we see adversity and rejection in a bad light. REJECTION and ADVERSITY can bring disappointments and shortcomings as mean and cruel. Beware DESTRUCTION FOLLOWS THE TRAIL OF BITTERNESS, HATE, CRUSHING AND CRUEL STRESS.
GREAT PEOPLE FACE ADVERSITY AS AN OPPORTUNITY. THIS PROBLEM CAN OPEN DOORS… CAN I BE HEALED IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY? HOW DO I COPE WITH FAILURE AND DEFEAT? FAILURE MUST NEVER HINDER US.
HARLAND SANDERS FOUGHT A HARD STRUGGLE WITH FAILURE. THE COLONEL HARLAND HAD A MOTTO: ONE HAS TO REMEMBER THAT EVERY FAILURE CAN BE A STEPPING STONE TO SOMETHING BETTER.
HARLAND SANDERS: HAD A 7TH GRADE EDUCATION. Sanders could not hold down a job. He came home one day and his wife and everything he owned was gone. He worked as a STOKER for a railroad company. 1927 Sanders ran a gas station in Nicholasville, Ky. In 1930 the gas station closed as a failure. Later Sanders opened another gas station in Corbin, Ky. It too failed. He sought a job in the legal field. He got in a fight with his own client, that was the end…
Harland then tried selling insurance, that was short lived. At 30 he tried his hand running a ferry boat across the Ohio River. This failed.
HARLAND RETURNED TO CORBIN ,KENTUCKY. Harland developed a two part philosophy. DO ALL YOU CAN. AND THEN DO THE BEST YOU CAN. At 65 years of age Harland Sander had his first regular check. He started drawing $105 A MONTH Social Security. He opened a little restaurant on 25 in Corbin, Ky. One day a long limousine pulled up. A multimillionaire pulled up and the rest is history. John Y. Brown partnered for KFC. They established KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN. KFC specializes in FRIED CHICKEN. KFC IS THE SECOND LARGEST RESTAURANT CHAIN IN THE WORLD. KFC are in 150 countries of the world.
GREAT PEOPLE OVERCOME GREAT OBSTACLES AS OPPORTUNITIES.
WALT DISNEY was terminated from his job for the KANSAS CITY STAR as a cartoonist. HE WAS TOLD THAT HE LACKED IMAGINATION AND HE HAD NO GOOD IDEAS. Walt created Mickey Mouse, Disney World and changed history, all because he was rejected.
GREAT LEADERS REALIZE TRIALS AND TROUBLES WILL EITHER MAKE ME OR BREAK ME.
LEE IACOCCA made great advances in the FORD MOTOR COMPANY. There were several clashes with HENRY FORD JUNIOR. When it all came to a head IACOCCA lost his high paying job. Another opportunity occurred. CHRYSLER /PLYMOUTH/DODGE was in a crisis. IT IS SAID: IACOCCA WAS FIRED TO GET FIRED UP.
OPRAH WINFREY WAS CRUSHED BY CRITICISM… SHE WAS FIRED AND DOORS WERE OPENED.
Oprah Winfrey worked at a TV station in Baltimore, Maryland. Her producer thought she was not that good and had a bad personality for television. Oprah was so sad and disappointed. Today Oprah is known all over the world as the greatest TV Talk show hostess. She is listed as a billionaire.
SPORTS HAS MANY FAILURE-SUCCESS STORIES.
BILL BELICHICK coached the New York Jets, and Cleveland Browns and he was disgraced when he was fired by the Baltimore Ravens. He failed. He went to the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS AND WON SIX SUPER BOWLS. Bill is considered the most successful NFL coach in history. He never quit! He was hurt but he continued forward.
STEVE JOBS learned conflict hurts. He was fired from his own company. His job at APPLE. Jobs founded the APPLE COMPANY. Steve refused to allow this ugly mess to hinder him. He made a famous comeback and became one of the richest men in the world.
MADONNA got a job at DUNKIN DONUTS. On her first day she accidentally squirted donut jelly all over one of her first customers. She failed in the fast food joint. MADONNA thought she was a failure. This event launched her into the music industry. She would have never known fame if she was still working in a donut factory. Today Madonna is wealthy and famous.
MARK CUBAN worked at a computer sales outlet. He was late for work and he was terminated. Today Mark is worth $3 billion dollars.
LADY GAGA was signed by a major record company just to be dropped. She kept on singing and she has had many hits and is often at the top of the Billboard awards.
J.K. ROWLING got fired from AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL because she day-dreamed too much. J.K. was crushed and heart broken. She started writing. Today we know her as the world famous writer of HARRY POTTER. Her crushing caused her to refocus. I understand she is richer than the QUEEN OF ENGLAND. Her crushing was the turning point that drove her to writing.
WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED IF ALL THESE PEOPLE HAD NOT FAILED AND WAS DRIVEN TO NEW AREAS OF LIVING?

BUT THE IMPORTANT LESSON IS EVEN WHEN WE’RE APART, GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU!
I HAVE A PERSONAL GOAL: IT IS MY DESIRE TO TOUCH THE UNTOUCHABLE! I MUST SOMEHOW TEACH THE UNTEACHABLE. GOD HELP ME REACH THE UNREACHABLE. GOD CAUSE ME TO LOVE THE UNLOVABLE. Every person you meet is in some kind of a battle.
MOSES HAS SWEATY ARMPITS … two men volunteer. They pull up a rock for MOSES to sit on… Then AARON and HUR lifted his arms to victory. This tiredness, this trial, this conflict will either KILL US or BRING US CLOSER to God. Quit blaming others. Lift up your head… THIS THORN MAY IDENTIFY A PERSONAL WEAKNESS… The enemy’s plan is this will take us to the grave. GOD’S WILL IS SIMPLE… THIS THORN WILL DRIVE ME TO MY KNEES AND I WILL COME CLOSER TO GOD AND HIS PLAN…
CONCLUSION: WHAT OF MY WORK? DO I WANT TO “RUN AWAY?” Good advice might be: if you find yourself in a hole, lay down the shovel! Smile. THIS TOO MUST PASS. We may have fallen, BUT YOU CAN GET UP IF YOU WANT TOO…
