WHAT CAN GOD DO IN ONE DAY? KAIROS? SUCH A TIME AS THIS?

When I was a kid we had S&H Green Stamps and Top Yellow stamps. We would save them, lick them and put them in a book. When we had enough we would trade the stamps for things in a catalog.
GOD CREATED THE CONCEPT OF TIME AS A GIFT FOR MAN… TIME IS MEANINGLESS IN ETERNITY.
Some insects live their adult life and die in one day. If God had made man’s life span to be one long day we would be doomed. If you messed up today you would have messed up your whole life. So in love God gave man a wonderful opportunity. God broke time into seconds, minutes and days. If you messed up today, in 24 hours you will have a fresh new day and a fresh new start.
WHAT CAN GOD DO IN ONE DAY? BIBLICAL WORDS FOR TIME:
*YOM: (YUM) YOM KIPPUR: the day of atonement, a point of time, A DAY, the concept of day, days, but time in general.
*CHRONOS: THE TICKING OF TIME, SECONDS, MINUTES, HOURS, DAYS, MONTHS…
*KAIROS: (KYE –ROSS) (KAI-ROSS) RIGHT NOW, deep time, opportunities, PREGNANT MOMENTS, God ordained, appointed season of times, eye opening, SPEAKS OF HEAVEN, Spirit of time, revelation.
TIME IS A GIFT FROM GOD… THERE IS AN APPOINTED TIME… FOR GOD’S PLAN AND PURPOSE…
WHAT CAN GOD DO IN ONE DAY? ELISHA? ELISHA KAIRUS --- TIME? TAKE COMFORT! THERE IS A TERRIBLE FAMINE IN ISRAEL… PEOPLE ARE STARVING TO DEATH. RICH PEOPLE ARE EATING DONKEY HEADS? POOR PEOPLE PIGEON MANURE? HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD… WHAT SEEMS COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE??? KAIROS?
2 Kings 7:1 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
WHAT CAN GOD DO IN ONE DAY? YOUR NEGATIVE, DOUBT ABOUT WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH TIME BECOMES A SELF-DOUBTING TRAP OF FEAR… GOD IN HIS TIME HAD A PREGNANT IDEA…KAIROS?
2 Kings 7:17And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him. 18 And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
20 And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.
One day? What can God do for you? God can take impossible situations and feed a whole nation. The powerful enemies defeated themselves. KAIROS!
IT IS ALWAYS THE RIGHT TIME TO DO SOMETHING RIGHT! SINCE THE BEGINNING OF HISTORY OF TIME GOD’S ENEMIES HAD TRIED TO SNUFF OUT THE LINE THAT WOULD BRING LIGHT TO THE WORLD. THE TIME OF SILENCE IS OVER… ESTHER WAS RELUCTANT AND FEARED IF SHE DID WHAT MOREDICEA WAS ASKING… IT MIGHT PUT HER QUEENSHIP AND EVEN LIFE ENDANGER… KAIROS?
As her Uncle (maybe cousin) discussed the danger of wiping out God’s seed ESTHER HAD TO LEARN TO TRUST THE UNSEEN HANDS OF A MIGHTY GOD… Stepping into the FAITH REALM would TEST EVERY FIBER OF ESTHER’S FAITH. Can we imagine the stress, the fear and the panic attacks to stand up against one of the greatest enemies of God in one day? HAMAN HATED THE PREACHER AND THE WORD. MORDECAI COULD DISCERN THE HAMAN PLOT… What can one girl do with TODAY? CAN GOD TAKE THIS STRESS, THIS TRIAL, THIS STRUGGLE, THIS BURDEN OF HOPELESSNESS with time and then see the enemy hang on his own gallows? KAIROS?
Esther 4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Esther 4:14 (MSG) If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this."
IN ONE DAY HAMAN’S PROPERTY BECOMES MORDECAI’S PROPERTY!
LET’S BE HONEST GOD CAN ACCOMPLISH HIS PLAN WITH US OR WITHOUT US… Kairos is God’s tool… GOD HAS ASKED US TO BE A PARTNER IN HIS WORK. AS WE DO GOD’S WILL IT PUSHES OUR FAITH TO HIGHER LEVELS OF ACTION. GOD HAS A PLAN AND A PURPOSE FOR EVERY LIVING PERSON… PERHAPS GOD IS ASKING YOU TO DO SOMETHING THAT YOU FEEL YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO?
Psalm 31:15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
We must face, there might be suffering and failure if I walk by faith and not by sight. God’s plan needs the FAITH ACTION of your HANDS… How can I sink through a solid rock? Each day is a gift from God. God’s plan is simple: GOD WORKS IN PERFECT TIMING. God desires to STRETCH our faith. He also desires to teach his children to WAIT on the Lord by TRUSTING HIS PLAN. KAIROS!
With Lazarus it almost seems Jesus was 4 days late… WRONG! JESUS WAS RIGHT ON TIME TO BRING GLORY TO GOD’S PLAN. WHAT COULD GOD DO FOR YOU TODAY?
KAIROS? I WILL HAVE ANOTHER DAY? ANOTHER CHANCE? MY PRIORITIES? TODAY’S POTENTIAL? HOW ABOUT A MORE CONVENIENT SEASON? BESIDES THAT I HAVE PLENTY OF TIME! I MAKE THE CHOICE TO PROCRASTINATE… DO WE EVER COME TO THE HONEST EVALUATION OF THE BREVITY OF LIFE?
Acts 24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
Acts 24:25 (MSG) As Paul continued to insist on right relations with God and his people, about a life of moral discipline and the coming Judgment, Felix felt things getting a little too close for comfort and dismissed him. "That's enough for today. I'll call you back when it's convenient."
There is no record that FELIX ever had another opportunity that fit into his plans. There seemed to never be another day, KAIROS!
GOD HAS ORDAINED KAIROS FOR YOU!
Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

LORD HELP ME SEE THE TIME BEFORE ME IS A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

KAIROS CAN OPEN THE DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY! COMPASSION! PRAYER! ENCOURAGEMENT!
WE HAVE COME TO THIS MOMENT --- KAIROS --- THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACCOMPLISH --- THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME… THE KINGDOM OF FAITH IS BEFORE US NOW!
Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 1:15 (MSG) "Time's up! God's kingdom is here. Change your life and believe the Message."
IN KAIROS THIS LESSON AND REVELATION COULD LAST YOU A LIFE TIME. HARVEST TIME IS COMING… WE MAY NOT SEE THE POSSIBILITIES --- WE MAY SEE WEEDS? MAYBE GOD SEES OPPORTUNIES OF KAIROS!
Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
KAIROS: WE NEVER LEARNED WHAT HAPPENED? THAT IS NOT THE LESSON… THE LESSON IS KAIROS… THE OPPORTUNITY OF COMPASSION AND TIME…
Luke 13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
KAIROS, THE DOOR OF THE DAY OF OPPORTUNITY WILL SOON CLOSE.
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 9:4 (MSG) We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over.
WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHEN THE LAST KAIROS OPPORTUNITY WILL BE… ONE DAY WILL BE OUR LAST… CAN WE LOOK FOR THE OPEN DOOR? PRAY FOR THE OPEN DOOR? I SEEK PRAYER AS PAUL DID FOR YOU AND ME…
Colossians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: 4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
CONCLUSION:
TIME IS FINITE: LIFE SPAN. IT HAS AN END, A FINISHING POINT. IT HAS LIMITS AND BOUNDS.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
THERE ARE ETERNAL VALUES… INFINITE: limitless, impossible to measure, no limits, endless. INFINITE LOVE… FOREVER. THE OPAL IS A SYMBOL OF INFINITE LOVE… ETERNAL LOVE.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10 (MSG) Don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear for I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you. I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.
Your time is life. Time is precious. Time is the greatest gift man knows… Money? You can always make more? You cannot make more time? When you give the gift of time you are giving a portion of your life.
We have a limited amount of time. READY, WAITING AND WATCHING…
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
