More and more educational requirements? We seemed to bypass the ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE PRESENCE OF GOD… We need DIVINE UNDERSTANDING TO RETURN TO LOCAL CHURCHES.

ANOINTING? VS THE VALUE OF HUMAN ABILITY? CAN WE UNDERSTAND VALUE AND WORTH? VS THE VALUE OF THE HANDS?
What is a baseball worth? $6.00? In Mark McGuire’s HANDS, THE BALL IS WORTH $19 MILLION? The HANDS?
A BASKET BALL IS WORTH $30? Put that ball in the hands of Michael Jordan and it is worth $33 million?

THE ANOINTING OF GOD… ON MAN’S HANDS… CHANGES ONE’S WORTH? WHAT IS GOD’S TOUCH WORTH?

David had a sling and 5 smooth stones in his hand add God’s anointing? GOLIATH FALLS BY FAITH. The hands?
MOSES? A ROD… IN HIS HANDS? WORTH?
Exodus 4:2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
IN MOSES HANDS WITH THE ANOINTING IT BECOMES THE ROD OF GOD… THE HANDS…WITH GOD…
Exodus 4:20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
MY OPINION? LET ME THINK ABOUT THIS? ASK WHAT GOD SHALL GIVE YOU? I NEED TO THINK ABOUT THIS, GOD?
Have you ever had a wonderful dream and woke up and was so happy? Solomon’s Dad was a man of God… David was dying and leaving the throne to his son SOLOMON. One night when SOLOMON was going to sleep the Lord God, the great I AM visited SOLOMON. God asked the young King: WHAT DO YOU WANT? 1. God can I have RICHES AND WEALTH? 2. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A LONG LIFE? 3. God how about FAME? 4. How about STRENGTH like Samson had? 5. How about BRAVERY AND GREAT COURAGE? 6. How about SMOOTH SAILING and NO PROBLEMS? 7. God could you KILL MY ENEMIES and ANY ONE THAT OPPOSES ME?

SOLOMON THINKS ABOUT, WHAT DO I REALLY NEED? WHAT IS THE MAIN THING I NEED TO KEEP AS MY MAIN THING? GOD IS SO PLEASED WITH SOLOMON THAT GOD SAYS: HEY BOY I WILL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING… FOCUS ON THE ANOINTING?
Solomon could have asked in PRIDE and SELFISHNESS. SOLOMON seeks an UNDERSTANDING HEART! God is all about LOVE. God is about PATIENCE. God is about TENDER MERCY AND AMAZING GRACE. Solomon UNDERSTOOD the need of KINDNESS.
There is only one WAY TO GET AN UNDERSTANDING HEART, THAT IS A GIFT FROM AN UNDERSTANDING GOD. All we really need is the PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
HAVE YOU HAD THE DREAM? WHAT ARE YOU ASKING FOR AS A DIVINE GIFT? I MUST KNOW GOD IN HIS FULLNESS.
CAN WE ASK THE GREAT I AM FOR UNDERSTANDING?
Jeremiah 24:7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
Jeremiah 24:7 (MSG) "And I'll give them a heart to know me, GOD. They'll be my people and I'll be their God, for they'll have returned to me with all their hearts.
DO WE TRY TO FIX IT, SOLVE IT… FLESH UNDERSTANDING? I WILL FIGURE THIS BY HUMAN SOLUTIONS…
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
I CAN DO IT! THE BATTLE OF UNDERSTANDING AND EGO PROBLEMS… I WILL BUILD MY BARNS BIGGER… THEN TAKE IT EASY. JUST SIT BACK--- YOU HAVE IT MADE… WHAT DO I NEED? NOTHING? I AM SO BLESSED: WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

YOU MAY UNDERSTAND THIS WORLD… BUT YOU ARE A FOOL, YOU HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING OF ETERNITY.
Luke 12: 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
UNDERSTANDING? FEW UNDERSTAND THEIR PRIORITIES…
But God said to him, You fool! You will die this very night. We understand full pockets and empty families and souls? MAKE THE CHOICE THAT GOD WILL BE MY FRIEND.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
STRETCH YOUR FAITH… APPLY… MAKE ROOM… WE TRY TO FIX THE OUTSIDE: WHITE WASH… GOD ‘S SYSTEM IS UNDERSTANDING FIX THE INTERNAL AND THE EXTERNAL WILL BE OK.

IT TAKES AN UNDERSTANDING OF GOD AND HIS PROCESSES: patience and timing. I have a plastic CATERPILLAR and a set of BUTTERFLY WINGS and a TUBE OF GLUE… I ask for a volunteer to come up. I give them a tube of glue. Talk? Then I give them a plastic caterpillar. WE discuss becoming a butterfly and I ask them to glue the butterfly’s wings on the caterpillar and let it fly? WE HAVE CHANGED THE OUTSIDE OF THE CATERPILLAR, BY GLUING ON THE WINGS… the caterpillar is not a butterfly we corrected the external but there is no change TO THE INTERNAL. To become a butterfly God uses TIME and PATIENCE TO CHANGE THE INSIDE.
UNDERSTANDING KNOWS LONELINESS IS NOT AN EXTERNAL ISSUE… YOU CAN HAVE 100 PEOPLE AROUND YOU AND STILL BE SMOTHERED TO DEATH BY LONELINESS. LONELINESS IS A FEELING THAT NO ONE CARES… FEAR IS USING MY WORDS AND KILLING MY FAITH ACTION.

COME WITH ME TO JESUS’ FEET… AND HELP ME UNDERSTAND THAT HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE….
Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
It 1968 I got my driver’s license. I was working at the Flaming Pit. I was driving to work in Springfield, Illinois. A beautiful little dog ran out in front of me and I could not miss the dog. I stopped and pulled the dog out of the street and held it in my lap and was petting it. I knew the dog was dying, I did not know where the owners were. I petted the dog and tried to comfort it. The dog did not understand and the dog thought I was hurting it. The dog turned and bit me real hard. I understood the dog thought I was hurting it. In reality I was trying to comfort it.
MANY TIMES IN MINISTRY SOMEONE HAS ATTACKED ME OR SOME INNOCENT PERSON BECAUSE THEY WERE HURTING AND THEY NEEDED SOMEONE SO THEY COULD ATTACK. OFTEN THE ATTACK IS TO THE PERSON CLOSEST TO THEM OR EVEN THEIR CARE GIVER.
THE LACK OF UNDERSTANDING DRIVES PEOPLE AWAY BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE TO STAND IN THE GAP OF UNDERSTANDING… WHO WILL STAND IN THE GAP AND NOT BE JUDGMENTAL, CRITICAL AND DISAGREEABLE TO STRAIGHT ARM AND KEEP HELP AT A DISTANCE…
Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
UNDERSTANDING KNOWS WITH FEAR AND BITTERNESS THERE WILL GROW ROOTS AND DEFILE MANY…
UNDERSTANDING KNOWS IT IS EASIER TO DIAGNOSE A PROBLEM THAN CORRECT THE PROBLEM… AGAIN WE NEED UNDERSTANDING TO ALLOW DIVINE TIMING AND PATIENCE TO REIGN.
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
WE MUST UNDERSTAND THE FEAR OF FAILURE CAN HINDER THE MOVE OF REVIVAL…
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
COME AND UNDERSTAND FEAR OF FAILURE HINDERS AND WE SEE THE FAILURE TO THRIVE. Michael Jordan was asked how he became so successful. He replied that is easy. I FAILED ALL THE TIME. He said I missed over 9,000 baskets! He explained he had lost over 300 games in his career. He said 26 times his team counted on him to make the game winning shot and he missed and they lost the game. Michael said: TO SUCCEED YOU MUST LEARN TO THRIVE IN FAILURE. BECAUSE I FAILED OVER AND OVER I BECAME A SUCCESS. WE MUST NEVER FEAR WE CAN’T DO THAT.
WE MUST UNDERSTAND THOSE THAT ARE STRONGER HAVE A DUTY TO THE WEAK… WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND SOMETIMES WE MAY GROW WEARY AND OUR PATIENCE WEARS THIN IN DIFFICULT TIMES. FIND SOMEWAY TO EDIFY AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS… STRONG PEOPLE NEVER PUT OTHERS DOWN.
Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
CONCLUSION: UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF THE FIRE: A piece of pig iron is worth $5. Put the metal back in the fire: $50 horse shoes. Back to the fire: $175 of needles. Back to the fire $2,500 in knife blades. Back to the fire: $250,000 in watch springs. COME, LET US UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF THE TRIALS OF OUR FAITH.
