Evicting Spiritual Squatters
We begin today with a scripture, and my message title I will tell you later.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to Him,
2 Thessalonians 2:2 that you may not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, (NASB)
These words may not mean much now, but they will one day. They are meant for comfort in the same way this verse is:

1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
The man doomed to destruction knowing this we can use it to comfort one another with these words. Let’s continue…

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
2 Thessalonians 2:9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
It is very important you notice the antichrist is here called the lawless one. He doesn’t regard laws.
I want to talk about 3 kinds of lawlessness:
Lawlessness in the world
Lawlessness in us
Lawlessness against us. The first two I have talked about other times so I will be quick there, the last one is our main focus today. Here we go.

Matthew 24:12 "And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.
The bible tells us rebellion is in the heart of the child, unfortunately it is also in the heart of adults. Lawlessness is disregard for the law, whether it be the written word of God, or the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Jesus in this passage warns us that in the latter time that the lawlessness in the world would also creep into the heart of believers. Let us reinforce our standards not lower them!

Micah 2:1 Woe to those who scheme iniquity, Who work out evil on their beds! When morning comes, they do it, For it is in the power of their hands.
Micah 2:2 They covet fields and then seize them, And houses, and take them away. They rob a man and his house, A man and his inheritance.
Micah 2:3 Therefore, thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am planning against this family a calamity From which you cannot remove your necks; And you will not walk haughtily, For it will be an evil time.
This passage is talking about evil people\beings that are involved in illegal activities, that steal and in particular they steal property and go after a persons inheritance. In the bible your inheritance is land, and your children. Satan and his henchmen are out to steal from us. They are scheming illegal activities against us and our children. The thief comes to steal. Stealing is illegal, done by those who don’t pay attention to the law.
Now for my message title
PPT 7 Title “Evicting Squatters”
Give me a minute and I will tie this all together.
What Is a Squatter? A squatter is a person who settles in, occupies, or takes control of a piece of property with no legal claim to the property. A squatter lives on a property to which they have no title, right, or lease. They illegally occupy a place. They unlawfully take up residence. They take adverse possession of a thing. A squatter has no right to be there and they don’t care what the law says, they are lawbreakers. The law has no influence upon them or their actions.
A squatter does something illegal. In Thessalonians we read about the lawless one. One who doesn’t regard laws. Just like squatters. If they get in, you have to forcibly get them out. The idea they can’t get in is one many Christians have falsely embraced. Legally they can’t get in, but since they don’t mind breaking the law they can get in, unless stopped. Let me show you an area where my thinking has evolved on this issue.

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."
Can a Christian be under a curse? Legally no, but the devil may try to illegally put one on you.
Law says this curse is broken
The devil says I don’t care I don’t keep the law.
Can a Christian be under a generational curse? Legally no, but the lawless one doesn’t care about the law, he may try to do it anyway.
The solution for the spiritual is the same as the solution in the natural for squatters. You have to evict them!

“Squatters can gain entrance and establish a foothold, by a negative word that you haven’t guarded against, and you by inaction you allow it to take up residence in your spirit. That is why the bible says, ‘Guard your heart with all diligence.’”
How do we evict squatters?
1. Recognize you have squatters.
2. Take action to get rid of them, by getting a writ from a court.
3. You get legal authorities to enforce the writ.
We already have a writ Gal 3:13

Here is the part we have to work on. Recognizing squatters and getting legal authorities to enforce the writ.
Often, we live in a reality between what is promised and what we walk in.

Nehemiah 1:8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
Nehemiah 1:9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
His prayer released a writ, and legal authorities to enforce that writ. The King he was working for issued a decree and sent letters and soldiers with him to enforce it.
So spiritual warfare is enforcing in prayer what God has already given us, using the weapons of the Spirit, the sword of the spirit is the word of God, to pull down strongholds. Or said another way to evict a squatter that is preventing you from enjoying a possession God has given you, we claim the word in prayer and ask God to send His angels to enforce it.
We are warring a defeated devil, who is lying and saying he isn’t defeated. He is squatting. We call on the angels of God to enforce the decrees and victories of Calvary.
I repent of anything I or my ancestors may have done that has allowed the enemy free reign.
I thank You, You took the curse and it no longer applies to me.
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. We know the truth now let us apply it. Inaction allows squatters to remain.
Squatting is a war on earth and in the heavenlies. What’s going on with earthly laws is a reflection of war in the spiritual realm.
I read an interesting article recently about a special division of the Detroit Police Department, it’s called the “Squatters Action Team.” They are bypassing eviction notice requirements and arresting people for trespassing without permission. God has a squatters action team. They are called angels.

Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
Psalms 103:20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!
Angels obey His word and are sent as ministers for us. Therefore is is right and proper to pray:
Lord, send you angels enforce you word. We war against squatters and inheritance stealers with the word of God, and in the name of Jesus we pull down strongholds.
There shall be no inherited sins in my family.in the name of Jesus we evict them. There shall be no alcoholism in my family, there shall be no physical abuse etc.
God send your angels to enforce your decrees.
I claim my property shall not be stolen, nor my inheritance my children will not be lost.
Satan we demand you leave us and our property alone!
Serve the eviction notice. This shall be a year of the Lord.
I have provided copies of a spiritual eviction notice in the back of the church, I want you to take one, sign your name post it in your house, and pray it in.
I will read it then we will all say amen, and we will close in prayer evicting illegal squatters. Next week we will evict one who uses a financial position of leverage in an attempt to rule over us a man in the bible called, Shebna.
Eviction Notice
To: satan, and all his minions, servants and collaborators
Know ye that: in the spring of the year of our Lord, AD 33, a summary judgment was issued against you and in favor of the saints of the Most High God, in the county of Judea, in the city of Jerusalem to wit:
Colossians 2:13-15 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Therefore in accordance with the proviso’s of said spoiling of principalities and powers you are instructed and ordered to come into immediate compliance and cease and desist all open hostilities and acts of subterfuge against any and all members of this household. This is non-debatable, non-appealable and failure to come into immediate compliance will result in your being subject to the full and total outpouring of the “orga theou” (Greek: Wrath of God!)
Be it further known, that we say, “The LORD rebuke thee satan.” “Get thee hence in the Name of Jesus!” And “we resist you through the power of the shed blood of the Lamb of God, and we declare through the summary judgment issued in our behalf, based on the merits of Calvary that by the grace of God there shall be:
No: Cuffs for our hands, to stifle our labors in the Lord.
Muffs for our ears, to dull our spiritual hearing.
Ice for our heart, to chill our love for Him or others.
No snares for our feet, to hinder our walk in Him.
No blinders for our eyes, to blur our clear vision of Him, and His will.
No muzzle for our mouth, to stop our speaking of Him.
No cloud over our head, to block our prayers.
No loss of our children, our spiritual heritage
Further, Be in known to all powers and principalities that we resist you in our home, resist you in our neighborhood, resist you in our city, resist you in our schools, resist you in our church, and serve this eviction notice which shall be formally served and enforced by angelic powers which are loyal to our Lord Jesus Christ.
