DO YOU WANT CHEESE WITH YOUR WHINE? WEARY WAITING!

ARE WE IMPATIENT WITH GOD? WHAT SEEDS DOES IMPATIENCE PLANT? HOW ABOUT TOTAL REBELLION AND WHINING AND COMPLAINING? DO WE LIVE IN A DAY OF WHINING, ANGRY, FRUSTRATED, COMPLAINING, GRUMPY PEOPLE? DO YOU WANT CHEESE WITH YOUR WHINE?

Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Philippians 2:14 (MSG) Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed!

GIVE ME SOME CHEESE WITH MY WHINE? I AM SO TIRED OF MANNA! NOTHING BUT MANNA, MANNA AND MORE MANNA? SEEMS THE CONTAGIOUS NATURE OF WHINING AND COMPLAINING DISTORTS THE REALITY OF THE PAST… WHY CAN PEOPLE REMEMBER THE SLAVERY? NO THEY REMEMBER THE ONIONS AND THE LEEKS…
Numbers 11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
THE MESS IS A BIG MESS… PASS THE CHEESE TO GO WITH MY WHINE… I CANNOT SEE THE ANSWER: THERE IS ANGRY DUST BEHIND US AND A RED SEA BEFORE US… WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? WHY DO PEOPLE WHINE? BECAUSE WHINING TRIES TO DENY A SOLUTION AND WE WORK TO GET OUR WAY.
Exodus 14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.
11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
Whining is given birth in FRUSTRATION and DEPRESSION. Frustration means to give your best effort and still not achieve your goal. IF WHINING WORKS people will learn to whine more. We must identify whining and make it not work… We often become trapped in NEGATIVE HABITUAL BEHAVIOR.
*WHINE: whining is irritating. a long high pitched complaining cry or sound, complaining in an annoying way about something unimportant, whining will often come because of an ANGER ISSUE. No one can ever change another person’s WHINING ATTITUDE.
Whining comes about because it seems you can’t change your feelings or your situation. WHINING THEN BECOMES MORE IMPORTANT THAN FINDING A SOLUTION.
We need to quit accepting WHINING as the norm. Is it possible to “NIP IT, NIP IT IN THE BUD: Barney Fife? MOST WHINERS BLAME EVERYONE ELSE FOR THEIR PROBLEM. You will never correct a WHINING ATTITUDE until you ACKNOWLEDGE the problem. Let us honestly evaluate where WHINING GETS STARTED? Whining starts in NEGATIVITY.
CHEESE AND WHINE? LIFE IS SO HARD! SELF-PITY? SELF PITY CAUSES SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS… DWELL ON THE PROBLEMS? WE ARE GOING TO STARVE TO DEATH… DO YOU REMEMBER HOW COMFORTABLE WE WERE IN EGYPT? WHY NOT JUST DIE THERE? WE SEEM TO LOVE TO WHINE? TO COMPLAIN?
Exodus 16:2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
COMPLAINING AND WHINING MAY SEEM TO BE AGAINST PEOPLE… BUT KNOW THE FACTS… THE BAD ATTITUDES AND MEAN WORDS ARE ABOUT GOD AND GOD’S PLAN… GOD HAS A SOLUTION!
Exodus 16:7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? 8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
GOD HEARS WHEN PEOPLE WHINE AND COMPLAIN…GOD TAKES THIS PERSONALLY. WE SHALL SEE THE BAD ATTITUDES COST. Do we see the Glory of GOD in this problem? . God listens to all the complaints. We may complain and whine about people but know this: We haven't been complaining against people and situations. We complain and whine against GOD.
HEATED CHEESE AND THE WHINE? THE FIRE? THE WHINING AND COMPLAINING SPIRIT CAUSED THE PEOPLE TO LOATH THE MANA… UNTHANKFUL AND UNGRATEFUL. SELF-PITY, HARDSHIPS --- NO BODY KNOWS WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH… WHINE WITH YOUR CHEESE?
Numbers 11:1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
SEEMS WHINING AND COMPLAINING CAN GROW FROM FAMILY ISSUES… WHY WAIT UNTIL NOW? CHEESE AND WHINE?
Numbers 12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2 And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.
NOW WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WHINE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT? FILE YOUR COMPLAINTS AGAINST GOD?
Numbers 21:4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. 5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
THE IS A SOLUTION! THE WHINING --- COMPLAINING ATTITUDES COST DEARLY… ACKNOWLEDGE, CONFESSION… WHINING AND COMPLAINING HAS A CURE --- GOD SENDS A MERCIFUL CURE.
NUMBERS 21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
CONCLUSION: THERE IS AN ANSWER FOR A WHINING, COMPLAINING, FAULT-FINDING, CRITICAL SPIRIT--LIFT UP YOUR HEAD --- LIFT UP JESUS! DON’T TELL GOD HOW BIG YOUR PROBLEMS ARE ---TELL YOUR PROBLEMS HOW BIG GOD IS… FLEE FROM A GRUMPY , ANGRY, FRUSTRATION AND BITTERNESS.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO RECORD A WHINING PERSON SO THEY CAN HEAR WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE? Whining can become a VICIOUS TRAP. NIP IT! NIP IT IN THE BUD!
