GET OUT OF YOUR TENT… LIFT UP YOUR HEAD…

I have a glass of warm water… I use salt or maybe sugar and pour some in the warm water. The salt or sugar will always go to the bottom of the glass. We have to STIR until the solution is mixed… IF I USE SAND OR SMALL ROCKS THE STIR WILL NEVER BLEND…
REKINDLE THE FIRE! DOES THE FIRE DIE DOWN? FAN THE FLAME: Spiritual growth is always hindered by sin, the lack of prayer, the lack of faithfulness, the lack of knowing God’s word… WHAT HAPPENS AT CHURCH? IN THE FAMILY? IN LEARNING? WHEN THE SETTLING OCCURS?
STIR: to mix thoroughly, to move, to excite, to rouse, emotions,
WE MUST LEARN TO LOOK UP. LIFT UP YOUR HEAD… STIR: GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE… DREAMS SELDOM COME TO THE VAST MAJORITY… BIG DREAMS CAN BECOME A REALITY WHEN WE GRASP THE POWER OF THE INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL EXPERIENCE… WE MUST GROW THE ATTITUDE OF HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE TO GOD’S PLAN.

It is nice to receive God’s gifts, but my friend we must constantly STIR THE GIFT AND THE THE FLAME… We are won by one. At times it seems God is so far away. Other times it seems we are so far away from God he can’t hear our prayers. God’s work is accomplished when one person comes into the personal presence of a mighty God.
LOOK UP! GET OUT: GOD WILL REWARD YOU AND BLESS YOU…ABRAM YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LIMITED IN THIS PAGAN LAND… GOD HAS A GROWTH PLAN…

CAN WE HEAR WHAT GOD IS ASKING… IT IS MORE THAN A CHANGE OF LOCATION IT IS A CHANGE OF ATTITUDE… WILL WE GIVE OUR COMFORT ZONE TO RECEIVE THE BLESSING? The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.
SO MANY FOCUS ON THEMSELVES… WE MUST LOOK UP… BLESSINGS CAN COST YOUR WORDS, YOUR ATTITUDES, YOUR DREAMS.
Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
WILL WE GRASP GOD’S PLAN? YOUR VISION IS LIMITED BY YOUR PERSONAL COVERING… GET OUT OF THAT TENT. LOOK UP. LOOK TOWARDS HEAVEN --- GOD CAN. SOMETIMES YOU MUST GET OUT OF YOUR TENT… WILL WE BE WILLING TO GO OUTSIDE?
Genesis 15:3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. 7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
Genesis 15:5 (NIV) He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
Genesis 15:5 (NLT2) Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!”
GOD COMES INTO A CONTRACT WITH ABRAM… A COVENANT… GOD DESIRES HIS PEOPLE TO LOOK UP…
Did you know when you look up there may be clouds that hide the stars. Faith knows the stars are still there. Faith knows you have to get out of your tent: COMFORT ZONE…
Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
THE TOKEN OF THE PROMISE… GOD TAUGHT NOAH TO LOOK UP AND SEE THE PROMISE… YOU MUST HAVE A STORM BEFORE YOU CAN SEE A RAINBOW! BUT YOU MUST LOOK UP…
Genesis 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
LOOK UP TOWARD THE SEA… YOU HAVE TO CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN… THERE IS NOTHING… NOTHING MEANS NOTHING… ELIJAH CHALLENGES KING AHAB AND JEZEBEL… THERE WAS 450 FALSE PROPHETS… ELIJAH LOOKS UP AND PRAYS 63 WORDS… LOOK UP? ON THE 7TH TIME? A SMALL CLOUD THE SIZE OF A MAN’S HAND!
1 Kings 18:41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, 43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. 45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
CONCLUSION: GOD IS A LIFTER OF MY HEAD… When depression and weariness cause our heads to fall we have a LIFTER… HOLD YOUR HEAD UP… GET OUT OF THE TENT AND SEE GOD’S PROMISES.

Psalm 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalm 24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
WHEN WE SEE THE SIGNS OF MATTHEW 24, LUKE 21, MARK 13, 2 TIMOTHY 3,,, NO FEAR… JUST TRUST.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
STAND TALL, RAISE YOUR ARMS AND YOUR HEAD … DRAW NIGH TO GOD… NO WORRY, NO FEAR… JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR THE CHURCH. GOD IS THE LIFTER OF OUR HEAD. WE CAN SEE THE PLAN OF GOD IS GETTING NEARER … JESUS IS AT THE DOOR.
