WHY? WHY? WHY? THINGS LOOK SO BAD! DREAM?

WHY? WHY? WHY? TELL ME WHY? WHY MAKE ME GO THROUGH THIS?
Years ago I was traveling and I stayed in a motel and was watching the local news. It was summer time. Football camps were taking place. There was a new coach that was teaching in the elite high school in town. The coach required so many pushups, so many minutes running and weight lifting. The coach was trying to prepare the team for the new season. One of the mothers thought the new coach was mean. This mother went and discussed that she thought the coach was too hard on her son and the other boys. The mother called and talked to the other mothers and she organized a STRIKE of all the mothers. They had professional posters printed and they called the newspaper and TV station to come and cover how mean this coach was. The mother was so vocal.
The next day there were editorials from other coaches in defense of this new coach. The mothers were joined on the picket line by several of the lazy players. Several of the pampered players quit the team. The school board backed the coach.
I followed this schools football season. The first game was a disaster. The team lost 42 to 0. The coach cannot always explain why he does what he does… The mothers blamed the coach. Every game that year this elite school lost, 0 wins. The coach left that school at the end of the year. He went on to another school and won the state championship. WHY? I PONDER WHY?
WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO DEMAND OF GOD AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT IS GOING ON? IS GOD TRYING TO GET OUR ATTENTION? HOW DID WE GET HERE? NOTHING IS MY FAULT? WHY? WHY? WHY IS OUR NATION IN SUCH A MESS? COULD WE WALK IN A DAY OF PLAYING THE BLAME GAME?

We have 435 US CONGRESS PEOPLE…

WHY? WHY? DOES GOD KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING? THERE WAS SOME DYSFUNCTIONAL BEHAVIOR FROM EXTERNAL SOURCES… SOME OF THE WHY JOSEPH NEVER HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE PROBLEM? JACOB AND 10 BROTHERS BUILT A DAM…
Genesis 37:1 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. 2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report. 3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
WHY? THERE WAS FROZEN COMMUNICATION LINES? HATRED IS WHY!
Genesis 37:4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
WHY? YOU CAN’T BLAME EVERYTHING ON JACOB AND THE 10 BROTHERS… JOSEPH HAD A BIG BRAGGART MOUTH…
Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.
WE NEED SOME DREAMERS… What seemed NEGATIVE was going to bring a miracle…
Genesis 37:19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. 20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
WHY DO WE DOWN GOD? LIFE IS A BOWL OF CHERRIES? SURE THE PITS… WHY BOY, WHY ARE YOU GOING TO THE PIT? WHY? WHERE ARE YOU GOD?
Let us blame mom and dad? Let us blame 10 mean brothers? Joseph had help create this mess… BUT GOD, WHY? GOD HAS A PLAN…
WHEN THE BROTHERS STRIPPED JOSEPH’ S MANY COLORED COAT… THE COAT OF THE FATHER’S BLESSINGS WAS STILL COVERING THIS 17 YEAR OLD BOY… 1. WHY? The brothers plotted to kill Joseph. 2. WHY? REUBEN was used to plea for Joseph’s life. 3. WHY? THE TRIP SEEMS ALL DOWN HILL. The brothers threw Joseph down in the pit? 4. WHY? There just happened to be a SLAVE TRADE caravan going by? 5. WHY? There is no PROFIT in killing him? DO YOU EVER PONDER WHERE DID THEY SPEND THEIR MONEY? 6. WHY? When they pulled Joseph out of the pit HE WAS PRAISING GOD’S DELIVERANCE HAD COME? 7. WHY? The spoiled brat is now property of the ISHMAELITES.
8. WHY? Potiphar just happened to go to the SLAVE AUCTION. 9. WHY? Potiphar’s beautiful wife accused Joseph of rape? WHY? 10. WHY? Joseph is now in jail? Why? 11. WHY? The Pharaoh got angry at the BUTLER and the BAKER, they had to meet Joseph. 12. WHY? Why not kill the baker and butler? 13. WHY? The butler REMEMBERED JOSEPH…14. WHY? JOSEPH GET CLEANED UP… IT IS DIVINE TIMING AT ITS BEST. 15. WHY? The dream of 7 ears corn, 7 cows? THE PLAN OF GOD…
WHY? ALL THE WAY GOD LED JOSEPH AND WAS WITH HIM…
Genesis 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
Genesis 39:3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
Genesis 39:5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.
Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
Genesis 45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
Genesis 45:8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
CONCLUSION: WHY? GOD DOES NOT HAVE TO EXPLAIN HIMSELF… JUST TRUST GOD’S PLAN.
