Have we really come to this? The Jews and Christians fleeing the gates of the cities as progressives and secularists take control? Have we really come to the final stage of civilization, total collapse? They've got us in a bind, they've really got us over a barrel. We stand near the edge as they push full force to end the reign of dignity, sanity, morality, and religious values. We seem to have been driven out.
They mock us in the media. They mock us in Hollywood. Their disdain for our worldview is apparent, day in and day out. The education system pushes an entirely different worldview. Children are taught a worldview that is false. And it destroys them. It leaves them naked and exposed to the wiles of drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, sex addiction, and even falling into human trafficking. Because if we are really just evolved pond scum then why not dangle off the tops of skyscrapers like the Ukrainian skywalkers? It would seem perfectly reasonable to hang by one hand off a skyscraper if there is no meaning to life and after death is the great nothingness. Of course, those things aren't true. God is real. And the human soul is eternal. But millions are being led astray. The angst in my soul reminds me of this everyday.
However, this much is certain: Though our enemies seem to have all the institutions and all the megaphones, most of the general population don't agree with them; but agree with us. These people are corrupt, they push and force their worldview on us while simultaneously saying we do it to them! They train populations, generally in larger cities to hate and fear us. Constantly the drum beat everyday on CNN, NBC, ABC, and CBS is that we hate minorities, that we're evil, that we're backwards. The message is that we are misogynists, homophobes, racists, and bigots. Of course nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, the greatest racists and bigots are them, because they try to destroy any minority who refuses to bow to their progressive orthodoxy.
Someone answer this question for me: How did they get the whole business world on board with the secular progressive agenda? I just don't get it. But that was the consummation point. When I saw over 150 major, I mean major American companies all boycotting North Carolina, for the purpose of pushing men into women's restrooms, well, that was the victory point. They've essentially won and now they're consolidating. Because if companies like Microsoft, Pepsi, Wells Fargo, and other huge names are all rock solid behind that kind of demented agenda, well, we're in bigger trouble than we realize.
Though maybe I'm just late to the party. I was a foolish leftist for quite a while, one of those arrogant drug addled low information types. But Jesus Christ of Nazareth showed up in my life and recruited me. And much like Andrew Breitbart I slowly waded from liberal to libertarian, to conservative libertarian to Constitutional conservative. More importantly, the Christian worldview came through, all the way. There is no turning back now. It's quite frustrating because with the election of Barack Obama in 2008 I had this feeling like "yes, we're finally winning." But only too quickly did I discover, "dang it, we're actually losing more so then ever."
Western man has gone completely nutty it seems. They've decided to change everything. They've decided to destroy the foundations, and drive out the Christian heritage. Why? I suppose they think they can do it better. But they're really stealing our nation and our way of life; what was built with Judaeo-Christian ethics, entirely. Oddly enough that's why it worked so well. So they're gonna take it and remake it, transform it into their own personal authoritarian utopia. They think it will be great I'm sure, but they don't realize that their idea of utopia tends to either end in socialist genocide or corrupt bureaucratic authoritarian regimes like Brazil, Mexico, or India. Oddly enough when you remove the barriers, remove the checks and balances, remove the strong cultural ethics, corruption tends to rot out the center. Which is what we're seeing taking place presently in America. More and more there have to be tens of thousands of laws, because a population once stripped of and driven from it's moral basis quickly becomes a corrupt lot, with the most rotted corpses bubbling to top, in leadership positions like say, president, secretary of state, senator, congressmen and of course, supreme court justice.
The progressives in seeking to liberate America from everything traditionally in her heritage have now liberated America from her sanity.
There are snakes in the garden. They're up to no good you see. The snakes in the garden are spawning too quickly. They've invited all their friends and paradise is aflame in police shootings, mob violence, and media corruption.
There are still plenty of good men and women left though. They're out there somewhere in the time fog, trying to do something about this chaos. But maybe it's our time? Maybe Thomas Cole's depictions of the process of civilization are quite accurate.
Though it's quite maddening. How could we let this happen after all? Well, I suppose the 3rd generation squandered the inheritance. Thanks a lot Gen-exers. Now we millennials, surrounded by socialist zombies must load our weapons and attempt to establish a haven beyond the contaminated zones. Dare we hope for something better? Or must we go down in stacks of timber, burned as witches, or more precisely, burned as bigots, homophobes and misogynists? Eventually the detractors must be terminated, what social justice warrior or staunch progressive would balk at the suggestion? The bigots must be punished, right? Stack up some wood and set them on fire. It isn't so far away. If the gulag and the re-education center fail to convert them to leftist sentiments, what can be done? Off to the gas chamber of course, a few martyrs to progressivism never hurt such an authoritarian cause. Authoritarian causes are never disturbed by heaps of dead bodies, are they? No mercy for the bigots. Did the 90s Christian elite give them any? Nope. None in return, eh?
Perhaps it isn't so far off. Then again maybe things will turn out alright. I can hope, can't I? Most at my church believe we are in the final days. I hear that more and more. They look at each other and smile, because they can say, "At least I won't be here to see it." And I'm thinking to myself, well, I'm a young guy, a millennial, so I will! What am I suppose to do? Well, we're fitted for the times we live in. Don't you think? We're designed for the eras we inhabit. So I suppose I'll inhabit this bizarre era. I apparently seem well suited for it. And so do you.
I just wish I had a road map to the future. It's hard not knowing which way it might fall. Or that it might not.
I keep telling myself that it's always darkest before the dawn. That is certainly true. Time and again it has seemed hopeless. Think of Great Britain, besieged by the demented genocidal Nazi regime. Think of how they must've felt after the defeat at Dunkirk. Their army barely escaped, their most powerful ally France just got totally whipped by the Nazis. All the Europe is in Nazi control. What can they do? The Americans are still neutral. Winston Churchill must've seen doom on the horizon. But he didn't give up. They didn't resign to the inevitable. In the face of total destruction they snarled at the darkness, defiant to fight to the very last man. But they didn't have to. Suddenly the United States joined the effort, and victory became all but certain in a few years.
I keep telling myself that we're at the moment in the revolutionary war when the continental army had just been driven from the capital, New York, and had to run and escape. There hadn't been a decisive victory in months. Moral was crumbling. The army was falling apart for lack of provisions and thousands had either left or died because of rampant disease in their camps. In addition the colonials had fled in fear at the mention of Hessian mercenaries swelling the ranks of the British army. But then General Washington decided to attempt a desperate move on December 25th of 1776. Under cover of night he launched his troops in boats across the Delaware river in a surprise attack on the Hessian forces in Trenton, New Jersey. The battle was a total victory, and Washington's forces took over 1,000 Hessian prisoners. This moment proved to be the turning point of the war, the moral boost that was needed, and the Americans prevailed after years of brutal warfare. I keep hoping that moment is coming for us, the Christians and Constitutionalists of the United States. We've found ourselves suddenly swarmed and near uprooted by this evil progressive agenda flowing out of the leftist media complex, academia, Hollywood, and the influential. And I keep asking myself, "Can we turn the tide? Or is it too late?"
I guess all we can do is the best we can, to light the fires of civilization. And keep them burning. We have a zeal that they lack, I think. We must keep sharing the message of liberty, and keep fighting for the truth of Christianity. All we can do is keep sharing the living gospel with those around us, to the best of our ability. All we can do is pray to God and ask him to have mercy upon this stricken, sexually deviant, addicted generation of destroyers. God is good. And his will is perfect. I don't know if we'll have to die for our cause. What an honor that would be though, wouldn't it? Who wants to die of old age? Not me. I volunteer at nursing homes, I see the slow deterioration. I wouldn't want that for me and mine. Though death takes us all. We only get a short number of days and nights, about 30,000 I believe. Then we go before God and explain ourselves to Him. Thankfully on that day I can say that Jesus Christ paid it all.
I'm looking forward to that new city, on the new Earth, in the new universe. I'm curious how it'll be and what we will do. One thing is certain: It won't be boring. We won't be alone. And our darkest enemies on this Earth will be sent from His sight, our sight, to a place of outer darkness.
The darkness of the absence of the light of God calls out to the dark ones of this world, begging them come forth to destroy no more, but to sit in darkness, blind, cut off, eternally unseated from their thrones of power. They have their time in the sun today, their reward in this world.
And the light of this life and of eternity, calls us forth, to set aside our lives, to be peacemakers of the Earth, and to live in His light for eternity in a place where peace at last will reign, liberty wins out, and evil has no place at the table of ideas.
Woe to you, destroyer, you who have not been destroyed!
Woe to you, betrayer, you who have not been betrayed!
When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed;
when you stop betraying, you will be betrayed.
Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you.
Be our strength every morning,
Our salvation in time of distress. At the uproar of your army, the peoples flee;
when you rise up, the nations scatter.
Your plunder, O nations, is harvested as by young locusts;
like a swarm of locusts people pounce on it.
The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high;
he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times,
a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;
the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
Look, their brave men cry aloud in the streets;
the envoys of peace weep bitterly. The highways are deserted,
no travelers are on the roads.
The treaty is broken,
its witnesses are despised,
no one is respected.
The land dries up and wastes away,
Lebanon is ashamed and withers;
Sharon is like the Arabah,
and Bashan and Carmel drop their leaves.
“Now will I arise,” says the Lord.
“Now will I be exalted;
now will I be lifted up. You conceive chaff,
you give birth to straw;
your breath is a fire that consumes you. The peoples will be burned to ashes;
like cut thornbushes they will be set ablaze.”
You who are far away, hear what I have done;
you who are near, acknowledge my power! The sinners in Zion are terrified;
trembling grips the godless:
“Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire?
Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?”
Those who walk righteously
and speak what is right,
who reject gain from extortion
and keep their hands from accepting bribes,
who stop their ears against plots of murder
and shut their eyes against contemplating evil—they are the ones who will dwell on the heights,
whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.
Their bread will be supplied,
and water will not fail them.
Your eyes will see the king in his beauty
and view a land that stretches afar. -Isaiah 33:1-17 NIV
