DEAL OR NO DEAL? OPEN THE NEXT CASE?
The red oil light comes on… keep driving? Car making noise? Drive on? Quart of oil $5.00. Tow bill, $200, $3,000 for a new engine?
WE KNOW JEREMIAH BECAUSE OF THE TEARS HE SHED. We call him the weeping prophet. He had compassion and love.
Jeremiah was called of God. Jeremiah lived in a hard day. The times were perilous and difficult. He saw many making POOR CHOICES and he observed the CONSEQUENCES of poor choices. He was good student and he learned many powerful lessons. He was a good listener. God asked Jeremiah to GO TO THE POTTER’S HOUSE and watch and learn. The potter took clay and water and his spinning wheel and learned some lessons that we still use today.
One of the most powerful lessons Jeremiah learned at the POTTER’S HOUSE was recycling. GOD HAS A GOOD RECYCLING PROGRAM. God does not throw the clay away. The clay was marred, messed up, not the original plan… SO GOD MADE IT AGAIN…
Jeremiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
FEW PEOPLE SEEM TO WANT TO LEARN THAT CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES?
**Consequences: something produced by a cause, power or action that produces effects, logical conclusion, cause-effect, results, outcome…
**CHOICES: SELECT FREELY, PREFERENCE, DECIDE
1. EVE: DO YOU THINK EVE CONSIDERED THE CONSEQUENCES OF PICKING THAT FRUIT AND EATING IT? FEAR, HIDING FROM GOD, ABEL’S DEATH, KILL THE ANIMAL FOR CLOTHES? Pain in child birth? Sweat? Kicked out of the garden?
2. David did you consider stay home when kings went to battle? Affair? Illegitimate child? Uriah’s death? Son raping Tamar? Absalom involved step moms? Absalom tries to take the Kingdom.
3. MOSES hitting the rock?
4. Lot’s wife looking back?
5. Sarah giving Hagar and then Ishmael?
THINK ABOUT YOUR CHOICES?
1. A few beers-27 teens dead?
2. Smoke that cigarette--- lung cancer, COPD?
3. Teen pregnancy? STDS? Abortion?
THE CHOICE: WE BELIEVE IN DIVINE HEALING!
Psalm 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalm 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
TRUMPS…. SOMETHING TRUMP: A CARD THAT WILL WIN OVER ANOTHER CARD, TO BE BETTER THAN,
DIVINE HEALTH TRUMPS DIVINE HEALING!
1. TRUMP SICKNESS WITH SANITATION and CLEANLINESS.
Isaiah 1:16 16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil;
2. TRUMP SICKNESS WITH GERM FREE: STERILIZATION WHEN EXPOSED. Pour wine, alcohol, sanitizer
3. WE CAN TRUMP SICKNESS WITH QUARANTINE, ISOLATION.
Numbers 5:4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
Remember as long as the Children of Israel stayed in the house the death angel would pass over them.
Our government recently asked all churches to delay church services until the pandemic passes. One pastor overrode the order. They had church anyway. In the small congregation the pastor and his wife carried the Covid 19, now 30 people have it and 3 of the elderly people all dead. WHY? Use the TRUMP card of Isolation/ QUARANTINE.
4. THERE IS A TRUMP CARD OF GOOD HEALTHY BALANCED DIET IN MODERATION.
Proverbs 23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
Sugar, caffeine, energy drinks, excessive, obesity, fruits, vegetables, vitamins.
5. THE TRUMP HEALTH CARD OF EXERCISE AND WORK…
1 Timothy 5:13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
6. WE HAVE A HEALTH TRUMP CARD OF REST… SPIRIT, SOUL, BODY…
Isaiah 28:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
7. HOW IS THIS TRUMP CARD? YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF GOD. It belongs to God and not to you.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
8. GOD HAS A HEALTH TRUMP CARD… STAY SEXUALLY PURE… We are not our own.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth
fornication sinneth against his own body.
9. THERE IS A WONDERFUL TRUMP CARD FOR GOOD HEALTH ISSUES … CALLED DAILY MENTAL VENTILATION… A RENEWED MIND…
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
10. THERE IS A POWERFUL TRUMP CARD THAT WILL MAKE OR BREAK ONE’S PERSONAL HEALTH.
THAT IS THE POWER OF THE TONGUE…
Proverbs 13:3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have
destruction.
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit
thereof.
CONCLUSION: There are many factors and issues that have a direct correlation to our health. If we would adhere to these issues with a good heart, good attitudes, and good words we might depend less on DIVINE HEALING AND WALK MORE IN DIVINE HEALTH. I am told anger can cause heart attacks and strokes. WILLWE REALIZE OUR ACTIONS COME INTO PLAY AND THAT WE CAN PLAY OUR TRUMP CARDS AND BE A WINNER.
