THE SPIRIT’S CALL TO REVEILLE!

My opinion is that we are living TODAY IN A VERY PERILOUS TIME. History calls China the SLEEPING NATION.
I think our enemy is using time as a LITMUS TEST to fine tune his last days procedures. This is a test, this is only a test. THE ENEMY OF GOD TENDS TO RUB THE BELLIES OF THE SLEEPING SAINTS TO KEEP THEM SPIRITUALLY ASLEEP. PLEASE, PLEASE HEED THIS LESSON AND PASS IT ON TO OTHERS.

DID YOU KNOW SOME SLEEP SO SOUNDLY THEY APPEAR TO BE DEAD? We believe that Jesus Christ has THE POWER TO AWAKEN THE DEAD.
Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
LET US CONSIDER SLEEP --- HOW MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF CHICKENS CAN YOU NAME?
Hens, Roosters, Biddies, Baines, Rhode Island Reds, Silkies, Brahma, Leghorn… and many others. But let me inform you of something: IN THE DUMPLINGS all chickens are just chickens. Differences might matter on the in the chicken pen, but when the chicken is in the pot differences will not matter. Hey, my friend we are in uncharted territory, we need to BE AT ATTENTION and ON ALERT.
PETER WAS SO EXCITED ONE DAY WHEN HE WOKE UP. HE CALLED TO BUILD 3 CHURCHES… BUT HE COULD NOT STAY AWAKE DURING PRAYER MEETING. YOU CAN’T BUILD ANYTHING ON SLEEPING SAINTS!!!
When I pastored at West Prestonsburg, Ky., 8 ½ years, 1372 sermons. I had a man that attended church occasionally. He would come to my house and tell me: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CHURCH IS WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH PRAYER MEETINGS! So I would schedule PRAYER MEETINGS on a regular basis. He seldom attended church… but in 8 ½ years he never once attended one prayer meeting, not one. How can you build a church when people complain but they never do…?
Luke 9:32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. 33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
THE PHYSICALLY STRONGEST MAN WAS EASY PREY TO A SMALL SISSY WOMAN… WHEN HE WAS SOUNDLY SLEEPING.
There were RED FLAGS ALL AROUND Samson. Samson wake up. THE LURE OF THE TRAP HAD A MAGNETIC APPEAL. His is mom and dad warned him… SON, LISTEN… SAMSON WAS SPIRITUALLY ASLEEP…
Judges 16:3 And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.
DELILAH never loved Samson. She became a rich woman, USING SLEEP… COMBINED PHYSICAL SLEEP WITH SPIRITUAL SLEEP… Samson, Samson.
Judges 16:19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
Samson, HOW ARE THE MIGHTY FALLEN… ???
Judges 16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.
SPIRITUAL SLEEP, WAKE UP… In one day the enemy destroyed a sleeping judge. God had called Samson before his birth. He WASTED HIS POTENTIAL, no sadder words of pen or tongue, than the words: WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. Can we imagine the pain as they took red hot irons and poked Samson eyes? Imagine the smell of his eyes balls frying?
Imagine the horror of laying on his bed at night REMEMBERING WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. Sin and sleep took Samson down the path of TEARS and SORROWS and REGRETS.
THERE WAS A MIGHTY GENERAL IN THE ENEMY’S CAMP. SISERA COULD NOT BE DEFEATED… EVERY BATTLE SISERA FOUGHT HE WON. ISRAEL WAS HAVING A NIGHTMARE.
After many days of great victory SISERA’S SPIRIT WAS TROUBLED. He ran his horse and chariot as long and as hard as he could run them. He could not go any farther with his horse. He jumped out of his chariot and started running as long as he could.
Judges 4:17 Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite. 18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.
SISERA WAS EXHAUSTED AND HEAVY HEARTED. Sisera ended up at a TENT, where a lady named JAEL offered him some warm milk. THE MIGHTY GENERAL LAY DOW TO REST.
Judges 4:21 Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
THE UNDEFEATABLE GENERAL DIED IN HIS SLEEP… JAEL NAILED HIS HEAD TO THE FLOOR. Sisera’s mom waited for him to come home… THE MIGHTY GENERAL DIED A FOOLISH MAN’S DEATH, WHILE HE SLEPT.
SAMUEL THE GREAT PREACHER HAD ANOINTED SAUL AS THE FIRST KING OF ISRAEL. SAUL WAS A GREAT KING, AT FIRST… THEN DISOBEDIENCE AND PRIDE ENTERED INTO HIS HEART. WHILE SAUL AND ALL HIS MIGHTY WARRIORS SLEPT, DAVID WAS HIDDEN IN THE CAVE.
On two different occasions DAVID SLIPPED INTO SAUL’S PRESENCE AS THE KING WAS IN A DEEP SLEEP. David’s men suggested let’s kill Saul. David refuse to touch the anointed.
BUT DAVID SLIPPED OUT SEVERAL OF SAUL’S PERSONAL ITEMS.
1. DAVID GRABBED SAUL’S SWORD --- symbolic his SAUL’S POWER, it was gone.
2. DAVID TOOK A PIECE OF SAUL’S GARMENT--- REPRESENTING SAUL’S COVERING/PROTECTION
3. DAVID TOOK SAUL’S CRUISE OF WATER--- HIS ESSENTIALS.
Saul lost his sword, covering and his essentials as HE SLEPT.
JESUS IS PREPARING FOR THE CRUCIFIXION, HE IS SO HEAVY, HE CALLS ON HIS ELITE TO PRAY WITH HIM.
Jesus selected the spiritual elite to find them sleeping.
Mark 14:37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
JESUS FOUND THEM SLEEPING AGAIN? This had to hurt?
Mark 14:40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.
THE JUDGMENT OF SLEEP? SLEEP ON… JUST GO AHEAD AND SLEEP…
Mark 14:41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
CONCLUSION: We know our Heavenly Father is trying to wake up His church. BE WATCHING! BE READY!
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
JESUS IS CALLING… I THINK 9/11 WAS A WAKE UP CALL. I THINK 2020 COVID-19, CORONA-VIRUS IS A CALL TO REVEILLE, WAKE UP CHURCH. WAKE UP… CHANGE! IT IS HIGH TIME TO AWAKEN OUT OF SPIRITUAL SLUMBER AND GET INTO PRAYER, YOUR BIBLE AND BE FAITHFUL TO CHURCH. IT IS HIGH TIME. WILL YOU SLEEP THROUGH ANOTHER READ FLAG WARNING?
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
