Daily word of encouragement:
We need to be constantly reminded of a few things: 1. GOD is still,on the throne 2. We are a people of strength, resiliency and adaptability 3. We are at our best when we are in unity with God and with each other.
It is so easy and maybe inviting to just shut oneself in and shut others out. That is NOT a healthy response. We should not be physically interacting with others but that doesn't preclude two way communication with all of the means available to us in these modern times. You are NOT alone in all of this. Share your fears and concerns with others, that is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of trust and faith.
A major priority is practicing good hygiene and health habits. Eat regular healthy meals. Avoid overeating and avoid overdoing it with snacking between meals. Drink plenty of water. Get regular sleep (best with going to bed at the same time and getting up at the same time). Don't yield to the temptation to stay in bed. Take time to get outside, go for a walk, exercise within your means like maybe trying yoga of some kind. Sit outside and read a book or just enjoy nature for a little while.
Safe space does not mean isolation or hibernation; it simply means maintaining a social distance of 6 to 10 feet from others.
