**READING THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES?

Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
WHAT WAS THE SIN OF THE FOOLISH VIRGINS? They were virgins, clean and undefiled… Their sin was they were not ready, their oil was low and then empty

There was a grubby street person sitting by the main road. The man had a SIGN that he held up. A new Corvette came
speeding down the road. The dirty looking man jumped up and started waving his sign. THE END IS NEAR. The guy in the Vette laugh and went a little faster. The next thing the driver knew, he saw the flood waters had washed the bridge away. At 90 mph the Vette crashed over the river bank and landed in the swollen river. The car was totally destroyed. The man crawled out of his car and swam to safety. His laughter had turned to tears as he saw his beautiful car in pieces.
Once the man rested on the shore he climbed up the bank and there the dirty street person was laughing and said that was fun to watch your car fly into the river. The street man laughed and laughed.
The man in his fancy suit was crying and he said: WELL, YOU WARNED ME THE END WAS NEAR and I just did not UNDERSTAND your sign?

WHAT DOES A SIGN MEAN? Sign: a gesture or words written or spoken that give information, action that reveals something exists is true or will happen, what does SIGNS OF THE TIME mean? 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 blast off?
Could we be in the FINAL COUNTDOWN of time? Could we be approaching catastrophic events that are warning us that the stage of time has shifted gears into OVERDRIVE?
Remember the cry in 1988 of the 88 reasons Jesus was come back in 1988? How many fell for that one? Then the same man rewrote the lesson plus one and said: 89 REASONS Jesus was coming in 1989. I think he quit and did not do a 90? I HEAR SOME TV PREACHERS that seem to love to sell FISH BAIT and lure people to HOAR and prepare with materialism? Remember Y2K? The panic and hoarding in a physical global shakeup where there would be no electricity, no TV or Radio?
GOD HAS OFTEN TRIED TO WARN PEOPLE OF COMING OF GOD’S PLAN, TIME RECORDS THAT ONLY ONCE DID A NATION TAKE CORRECTIVE ACTION SO GOD COULD SPARE THEM. Massive destruction and death will reign this planet? Seems even the church IS MAKING LIGHT OF GOD’S JUDGMENT. Many men and women has seen ahead to the coming judgment and they mock God and God’s preachers.
DO WE KNOW THE SEVEN SIGNAL SIGNS OF CANCER?
I TAUGHT SCHOOL IN LEE COUNTY VIRGINIA. Near the end of the school year, we were studying the SEVEN SIGNAL SIGNS OF CANCER in Health. I had my aid run of copies of the page and I always asked the students to remember this signs and to take the copy home and hang it on the back side of a cabinet door where they could refresh their minds from time to time. I asked my aid to run enough copies for each of my students. Somehow the machine ran double the copies.
While standing in the hall, I said something to the 4th grade teacher about the extra copies and she said why waste these? I will give these my students. As we stood there talking, she read the 7 SIGNAL SIGNS OF CANCER. She told me, I HAVE ALL SEVEN OF THESE SIGNS. She made a doctor’s appointment. The news was terrible. There were 2 weeks of school left, she never returned to finish the year. During the summer my precious friend passed away. As school started the next year, I walked down the hall and saw her name tag on the door. I cried as I took a screw driver and removed her name tag from the door. My heart was broken as considered how cruel cancer can be. IF ONLY SHE HAD KNOWN THE SIGNALS OF CANCER MAYBE SHE WOULD HAVE LIVED MUCH LONGER. What you don’t know can kill you!
DO WE KNOW THE SIGNS OF THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST?
DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, FEAR, WORRY, STRESS, FRUSTRATION, MENTAL BREAKDOWNS, FEAR DRIVEN HATE CRIMES…
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luke 21:26 (MSG) in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be quaking.
Anxiety attacks from are old people to young kids.
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

A 1960’s book called FUTURE SHOCK, By Alvin Toffer warns that change will come so quickly many in society will be able to stay abreast of the change.
DREAD, FEAR and WORRY should not reign in the hearts of those that are PREPARED with a testimony and the blood of the Lamb.

If I were a soldier and away at war and I wrote my wife and said: HONEY I WILL BE HOME BY THE END OF THE MONTH? What would I think if she said: NO, HONEY, VOLUNITEER FOR 2 MORE YEARS? Two issues might be real. 1. She never really loved me in the first place? 2. Maybe she has not be true to me?
If the fear and dread of Jesus’ return puts fear in me, I MUST NOT BE READY FOR HIS RETURN?
FIRST BE WARNED THAT DATE SETTERS MAKE A MOCKERY OF GOD’S PLANS. NO ONE KNOWS THE HOUR OR THE DATE OF THE SECOND COMING…
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
The angels do not know the day, nor does Jesus… why would you think God would reveal the secret to you?
JESUS COULD NOT TELL THE TIME, HE DID NOT KNOW IT… SO JESUS STARTED A DISCOURSE ON THE “SIGNS OF THE TIME!” Signs should forewarn those that will listen.
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
WATCH THE NEWS… RUMINATE? THINK ON THESE ISSUES… NUCLEAR RETALIATION.

Somethings happened and people started re-thinking NUCLEAR POWER. 1. CHERNOBYL, USSR, then 2. FUKUSHIMA, JAPAN, 3. THREE MILE ISLAND in the USA. While NUCLEAR ENERGY is a very reliable energy source it also carries many great potential dangers.

** WE NOW HAVE AROUND 6 OR 7 WITH FUNCTIONING NUCLEAR NATIONS… Experts predicted in the next 10 years there will be 14 or more nations. China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, United State are the major powers. There are 3 countries: India, Pakistan and North Korea that have and or are developing nuclear weapons.
ISRAEL IS GENERALLY UNDERSTOOD TO HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS, BUT ISRAEL HAS NEVER ACKNOWLEDED THE FACT. It is believed that Israel has between 75 and 400 nuclear warheads.
Experts say: AS OF 2018 THE INVENTORYOF NUCLEAR WEAPONS IS AROUND 14,465. OF THESE 3,750 ARE DEPLOYED AND OPERATIONAL NOW! Second generation NUCLEAR WEAPONS USE FUSION NOT FISSION…
HOW POWER ARE NUCLEAR BOMBS, RUSSIA HAS SET OFF BOMBS THAT ARE MEASURED IN MMEGA TONS OF TNT. 50 MEGATON BOMBS HAVE BEEN TEST. A megaton is equal to a millions tons of TNT. So one bomb tested was 50 million tons of TNT. Russia claims to have 100 megaton bombs.
Now there are MONUCLAR WEAPONS that are thermonuclear ( FUSION) bombs that are using URANIAN 238, which is much more powerful than the 1948 Uranium -235.

How about the ISRAEL HATERS in IRAN? They have vowed to wipe Israel of the map! Iran would love to push the button and launch us into a nuclear JIHAD the war of all wars to spread Muslims influence. This JIHAD will be a “HOLY WAR” and it is their duty take this war personal.
Perhaps the real fear of the world is on CHINA, the Sleeping Giant and RUSSIA. Russia has been had a growing tension with the USA. Russia has been accused of dabbling in our elections and computer systems even knowing PENTEGON and military secrets?
WE FACE A NEW REALITY AS THERE COMES A MASSIVE THERMONUCLEAR DESTRUCTION TO THIS PLANET. Will we heed the SIGNS OF THE TIME? WILL WE BE READY FOR THE LORD TO COME AGAIN…

THERE IS GREAT DANGER IN LUKE WARM AND COLD… WE MIGHT CALL THIS STRADDLING THE FENCE…

LUKE WARM MEANS YOU ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO CORRECT. LUKE WARMS MEANS YOU REFUSE TO REPENT. LUKE WARM IS DANGEROUS AS YOU THINK YOU ARE STILL OK.
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
BEWARE, BE HONEST AND EVALUATE YOUR WORDS, DEEDS, AND ATTITUDES.
Revelation 3:15 (MSG) "I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You're not cold, you're not hot—far better to be either cold or hot! 16 You're stale. You're stagnant. You make me want to vomit.
WHAT IS LUKEWARM’S TRUE MEANING? Hot is living in passion…commitment. Laodicea wanted to not depend on anyone, they had an independent attitude that did not want to submit or be held accountable to no one.
There were 3 sources of water in Bible times in this area.
1. Colossae had cold fresh mountain water.
2. Hierapolis had good medicinal hot springs.
3. Laodicea’s water was water brought 6 miles by an aqueduct, the water was only good to flush out the plumbing systems, if you tried to drink this water it was full of germs, stagnant… when people ingested this water they would grow sick, often with dysentery and even death.
CONCLUSION: JESUS I WANT THAT LIVING WATER, HELP ME BE READY FOR THE BATTLES AHEAD.
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
