TRUTH DETECTORS? WAR ROOM?

TEXT: John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
WE MIGHT NEED TRUTH DETECTORS TO REVEAL GOD TO US IN THE WAR ROOM? THERE IS AN AGE OLD QUESTION THAT EACH GENERATION ASKED … A KING (PILATE) ONCE ASKE THE KING (JESUS): WHAT IS TRUTH?
John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
We see today’s generation RE-DEFINING TRUTH? This RE-DEFINING TODAY says each person redefines truth as they see it? Truth depends on our perspective and how we feel? IF THIS IS WRONG I DO NOT WANT TO BE RIGHT?
Re-defining truth means there is NO STANDARD, there is NO ABSOLUTE truth, as each individual can RE-DEFINE what they think or feel at the moment is truth.
We call this WOODSTOCK TRUTH… or SITUATION ETHICS? Our situations will define … I know I was drunk, but I had to get home, I just had to drive. The child was rebellious so I had to scream and hollow and get out the two by four and beat them?
Perhaps God’s promises will be released in the VALLEY OF OBSTACLES, and we will KNOW THE TRUTH AN BE SET FREE.
WE HAVE NOT MADE IT --- YET? WHO DEFINES TRUTH? THE MAJORITY RULE? I DON’T WANT TO BE EXCLUSIVE SO LET’S INCLUDE EVERYONE… IF THERE IS NO TRUTH --- THAN WE NEED NO GOALS OR FOCUS… WE NEED THE WAR ROOMS OF OUR KNEES.
I have a dream. I set my goal toward the mark of the high calling… There is absolute truth that can be found in the war room.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
TOMORROW’S TRUTH: IS I DESIRE TO BE BETTER AND HAVE BETTER ATTITUDES THAN I HAD TODAY.
The Bible warns us… GROW… DON’T BE FOOL --- GROW? INCREASE…? The war room calls us to grow in faith.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
I often say BETTER has a big ENEMY. The enemy of better is GOOD. If we get good at something we tend to accept GOOD AS OUR NORM. We will be satisfied to stay right here at GOOD. I am told the average high school graduate never reads another book after graduation. They are never to be a student again… GUESS THEY KNOW IT ALL?
A spouse gets to be a good spouse and seldom improves? The spouse quits working on self-improvement? The spouse’s attitude gradually drifts. They gain weight? They develop a sarcastic mouth and they talk to their spouse like they would never talk to a stranger? They quit taking care of themselves and improving… I AM PRETTY GOOD AT THIS…
BUT GOOD IS NOT ENOUGH… we must have an EARNEST DESIRE TO BE BETTER… I want to be better tomorrow than I was yesterday. I THINK THE TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD IS MORE THAN GOOD. IT IS MORE THAN BETTER… OUR GOALS SHOULD BE I WILL BECOME THE BEST THAT I CAN BE… I DON’T NEED GOD?
TOMORROW I GOD’S TRUTH DESIRES US TO BE BETTER THAN TODAY. May we be a LITTLE KINDER,
THE STATLER BROTHERS sang a song… LET IT BE… Do we see the need to spiritual grow and mature? We need a truth detector to drive us to the war room.
LET ME BE A LITTLE KINDER, LET ME BE A LITTLE BLINDER…

WE NEED SOME TRUTH DETECTORS… SOME VEHICLES OF TRUTH … THE TRUTH DETECTOR WAS REVEALED IN THE VALLEY BETWEEN HOPELESSNESS AND DESPAIR… We win or lose in the war rooms of life.
ABRAHAM WAS IN THE VALLEY OF JABBOK IN CANAAN AT SICHEM CALLED THE VALLEY OF THE OAK GROVE WHEN HE HEARD AND RECEIVED GOD’S GREAT PROMISE.
Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Genesis 12:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
THIS VALLEY NOT ONLY HELD A PROMISE OF TEMPORAL BLESSING BUT OF SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS…
God the GREAT DELIVERER…
In the valley Abraham builds an ALTAR… to Jehovah…
WANT TO DISCUSS HOPELESS AND DESPAIR? CALEB HAD FOUND HIS TRUTH DETECTOR DOWN IN THE VALLEY. CALEB WAS STILL GROWING AT 85 AND ONLY ONE OTHER MAN OF HIS GENERATION STILL ALIVE… CALEB FOUND THE PROMISE IN THE VALLEY OF HEBRON… THE TRUTH STILL WORKS… WHERE CALEB FOUND GOD’S PROMISE AS HE CLAIMED HIS MOUNTAIN… CALEB KNEW ABOUT THE WAR ROOM.

NOW, GIVE ME… THE WAR ROOM HAS REVEALED THE TRUTH, MY FAMILY NEEDS THIS MOUNTAIN.

THE TRUTH DECTECTOR AGAIN IS FOUND IN A VALLEY… THE POOL OF SILOAM IS IN THE LOWER VALLEY ---
TYROPOEON VALLEY TO THE SOUTHEAST OF THE HILL OF ZION… IT IS THE TIME IN THE WAR ROOM THAT PAYS DIVIDENDS.
THERE IS A GREATRELIGIOUS DEBATE AS TO WHY THIS MAN IS BLIND? DID HIS MOM SIN? DID HIS DAD SIN? OR MAYBE HE SINNED?
JESUS HAS A LESSON TO TEACH IN THIS VALLEY …
JESUS REACHES DOWN IN THE VALLEY. JESUS SPITS IN THE DIRT AND MADE A BALL OF MUD… THEN JESUS PLACE THE SPIDDLE OF CLAY IN THE BLIND MAN’S EYES…
This pool was in the lower end of the valley and the water flows from underground channels or springs…
This pool is 53 feet long, and 18 feet wide and 19 feet deep.
This little blind man had no hope what so ever… UNTIL HE MET THE TRUTH, THE WAY AND THE LIFE…
WHY CAN’T SOMEONE BRING HIS WATER TO WASH? THE WAR ROOM REQUIRES ACTION…
John 9:7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. 8. The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? 9 Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. 10 Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? 11 He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
THE WATER IS ABOUT 3/4 A MILE AWAY. As the blind man walks, someone must lead him. But the truth was found as the man obeyed the Divine Command, go wash in the POOL OF SILOAM. MIRACLES OF TRUTH ARE FOUND IN THE WAR ROOM.
DARK VALLEYS AND DEEP VALLEYS AND FIERY FURANCES REVEAL THE TRUTH TO US… THEY PRAYED BEFORE THE TRIAL.
I HAVE SEEMED TO FIND GOD IN SOME OF THE STRANGEST PLACES… SEEMS GOD LOVES TO BRING US TO A VALLEY TO RESTORE US TO GOD’S HEART…
Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
3 MEN FELL DOWN BOUND IN THE MIDST OF THE FIERY FURANCE… THE FURANCE WAS HEATED 7X’S HOTTER…
THERE IS A LESSON IN THAT THE MEN THAT THREW THEM IN THE FIRE WERE BURNED TO DEATH…
Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Want to hear the truth? THE TESTING REVEALS GOD’S POWER… THE TRUTH WILL STAND… BECAUSE OF THE WAR ROOM… 3 TIMES A DAY!
Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
FAITH SPEAKS VERY CLEARLY AND REVEALS THE TRUTH… WE WILL NOT BEND, WE WILL NOT BOW --- EVEN IF WE ARE BURNED…
Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
CONCLUSION: GOD’S WORD WILL NEVER FAIL. GOD’S GREATEST LESSONS CAN BE LEARN AND WE CAN GROW DURING DARK NIGHTS AND DEEP VALLEYS AND FIERY FURANCES AND LION’S DENS. WE FIND THE TRUTH DETECTOR TO HAVE ITS GREATEST POWERS IN THE STORMS, TRIALS, CRUEL MOCKINGS, TERRIBLE SUFFERINGS, AND GREAT MISUNDERSTANDINGS. COULD GOD’S TRUTH BE TAUGHT TO HIS CHILDREN WITH MOUNTAIN TOP EXPERIENCES AND THE COMFORTS OF PHAROAH’S PALACE? MAYBE WE CAN BEST FIND GOD’S PROMISES IN THE DAILY STRUGGLES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS. MAYBE THIS OBSTACLE, MAYBE THIS ENEMY, MAYBE THIS PROBLEM WILL BRING US TO THE WAR ROOM TRUTH DETECTOR… MAYBE THIS TRIAL IS THE GREATEST BLESSING YOU WILL EVER KNOW. FOR SOMETIMES THE WORSE THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO US COULD RELEASE THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO US.
