THE DEEP CAVE OF DARKNESS…(Boredom)

DARKNESS MAY OFTEN BECOME A TANGLED WEB OF CHOICES.
I have some really good news you can use if you chose.
LIFE IS ALL ABOUT YOUR DAILY CHOICES.
I also bear some bad news, hear me?
LIFE IS ABOUT IS ALL ABOUT YOUR CHOICES.
Very few individuals reach honest maturity to recognize THAT WE BECOME THE SUM TOTAL OF OUR DAILY CHOICES.
Perhaps we can agree that life is 10% what happens to us… and 90% how we handle what happens to us.
CHIP AWAY
One day a huge piece of marble was delivered to the address of an artist. This artist was a SCULPTOR. He would take the stone and CHIP AWAY and CHIP AWAY one little piece of marble with his tools. Ever so slowly the MASTER WOULD CHIP AWAY the marble, one small piece at a time. 100’s of hours were invested AS HE SLOWLY CHIPPED AWAY the marble.
One day the artist stood back and observed his great masterpiece. Next came the unveiling of the masterpiece. It was a horse in great detail. The nostrils were so real, the muscles and the veins amazed everyone. This marble horse was a great master piece. As the crowd gathered around and admired this masterpiece of a horse a small boy ask: SIR, HOW DID YOU DO IT? HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS BEAUTIFUL HORSE OUT OF MARBLE?
The sculptor said: ALL I DID WAS TAKE A HUGE PIECE OF MARBLE AND SLOWLY CHIPPED AWAY EVERYTHING THAT DID NOT LOOK LIKE A HORSE.
MAY I SUGGEST TO YOU THAT GOD OUR FATHER DESIRES TO CHIP AWAY AT OUR HEARTS AND MINDS AND MAKE US A NEW CREATURE?
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Are we walking and talking as Christians?
WE COME TO THIS PLACE WHERE OUR ATTITUDES, MINDSETS, WORDS AND DEEDS CAN BRING US INTO DARKNESS OR INTO TOTAL LIGHT? IT IS A CHOICE IN HOW WE WILL REACT TO WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND US.
Within 15 miles from my house is the largest CAVE SYSTEM in the world. There are about 400 miles underground on 5 different levels. MAMMOUTH CAVE is so beautiful. There are many tours you can take. Years ago MAMMOTH CAVE was taken over by the US NATIONAL PARK SYSTEM.
One of the lines the rangers say when you below the surface is: YOU CAN’T BE BURIED ANY DEEPER IN CHEAPER.
On almost every tour given at some point the Park Ranger stops the crowd and talks. At this point the ranger turns up the lights and there is ABSOLUTE TOTAL DARKNKNESS, complete, T-total darkness. We had visited with a family from Florida as we walked.
I was with my older brother in the cave and the tour group was seated. The ranger turned off the lights. Total darkness? I told my brother: I AM GOOD LOOKING NOW!” To which the lady from Florida said: I DON’T THINK SO!
Oh, well I had my chance? Can others see the reflection of mind of Christ in us?
EVER HEARD THIS PRAYER
NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO REST, I HOPE TO PASS TOMORROW’S TEST?
IF I SHOULD DIE BEFORE I WAKE, THAT IS ONE LESS TEST I WILL HAVE TO TAKE!
WHILE EGPYT WAS IN TOTAL DARKNESS --- IN THE LAND OF GOSHEN THERE WAS AN EXEMPTION FROM THE DARKNESS?

DARKNESS GIVES WAY WHEN WE LOSE OUR JOY IN DAILY LIVING…

BOREDOM: the state of being weary and restless through the lack of interest. Tiresome, devoid of interest,
NO ENERGY OR NO ENTHUSIASM… NOT INTERESTED?

ZEAL WITHOUT WISDOM?
WISDOM WITHOUT ZEAL?

WE COME AND AGREE?
Did you know death is the #1 killer in the world?
Good health is one of the slowest possible rate in which one can die?
If the moon listened to every howling dog, it would never shine?
Never worry about old age --- it is only temporary?
Give a person a fish and he will be satisfied for a day.
Teach the person how to fish and life becomes their responsibility.
Give a person a computer and the internet and they will become lost and waste much time and effort and accomplish very little. A million points at PAC-MAN is a great feat!
HAVE WE LOST OUR JOY AND ZEAL AND ENTHUSIAM IN OUR DAILY LIFE?
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BIG WORDS WE SPEAK BECAUSE WE ARE BORED?
WHY? WHY? I AM FRUSTRATED? I DON’T CARE? MY LOVE IS DEAD?
INFATUATION: To cause to be stupid? Deprived of sound judgement, foolish love or
admiration.
I have known teenagers run away from good homes?
I have known several stable couples with children, FALL OUT OF LOVE WITH REAL LIFE and fall in love with someone on the computer.
I HAVE HAD IT UP TO HERE?
I am so angry with everyone here?
WE OVER EAT BECAUSE WE ARE BORED?
WE HAVE 200 CHANNELS AND WE FLIP, FLIP, FLIP OUT OF BOREDOM?
THERE IS A HAND GERNADE WE THROW AT GOD, THE PASTOR, AND OUR FAMILIES?
THE CHURCH IS BORING, JUST DON’T GET FED ANY MORE.
I have a friend in Lee County, Virginia that has been writing on Facebook how stupid everyone is in Lee County. The schools are terrible? Walmart is terrible? Her family is mean and stupid? The police are abusive? The judge is paid off? She is arguing with everyone and taken so many to court that the lawyers refuse to talk to her. Even the churches are hypocrites? ALL LEE COUNTY IS TERRIBLE.
SHE JUST WANTS TO MOVE TO NORTH CAROLINA. The weather is better? She can get away from her stupid family? The police are so much nicer there? The roads are better? The teachers are smarter than the dumb bunnies in Lee County?
I wish she would move to North Carolina. I wonder how long that will last?

LIFE IS A MIRROR? IF YOU ARE BORED HERE, YOU WILL BE BORED THERE.
Our flesh, emotions, will GET US IN THE TRAP OF BOREDOM BY BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE WITH WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING?
BOREDOM COMES BY FOCUSING ON THE NEGATIVE--- VICTIMS OR VICTORS?
We must focus beyond the boredom of today.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
BOREDOM CRUSH THE VISION AND THE DREAM AND HINDERS PRAYERS AND PRAISE.
BOREDOM IS FOREVER CRUSHING BECAUSE WE FLY IN CIRCLES?
WE DOUBT GOD’S PPROMISES.
BOREDOM BREEDS DISAPPOINTMENTS, HURT, BITTERNESS, AND COLDNESS.
JOBS WIFE WAS A VICTIM OF BORDOM AND THE LACK OF TRUSTING GOD AND LOT’S WIFE HAD SOME LOVE OF THINGS IN HER HEART.
It was not just looking back, it was what was in her heart that made her desire to look back?
Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife.
IS THE QUESTION: CAN GOD?
CAN WE SING LOUDER? CAN WE CLAP OUR HANDS? WE CAN GET EXCITED ABOUT JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.
Psalm 98:4 (KJV) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Psalm 98:4 (MSG) Shout your praises to GOD, everybody! Let loose and sing! Strike up the band!
Psalm 47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
CONCLUSION: Boredom within the family and the church can be a terrible problem. Sin can be born out of boredom. We must find joy in little things. Boredom will bring death. BOREDOM CAN BRING SICKNESS OF HEART, CHRONIC FATIQUE, HEADACHES AND SLEEP PROBLEMS.
SOMETHING IS WRONG WHEN WE DESIRE TO SLEEP ALL DAY AND STAY AWAKE ALL NIGHT?
BOREDOM BRINGS ALCOHOL, DRUGS, AND SINFUL SEXUAL DESIRES. BORDOM CAUSES PROBLEMS AT WORK AND SCHOOL?
BOREDOM CAUSES US TO SIT BACK AND ARMCHAIR QUATERBACK?
TOO MUCH LEISURE AND PLAY IS ERODING
THE FAMILY AND THE CHURCH!
THERE WAS A SUICIDE NOTE FOUND AFTER THE STAR GEORGE SANDERS WAS FOUND DEAD AFTER HE COMMITTED SUICIDE IN A HOTEL.
Dear world, I am leaving because I am
bored. I feel I have lived long enough. I am leaving you with your worries in this cesspool. GOOD LUCK.
