There was a middle aged couple driving across several states. As they traveled they got into a heated discussion about how life has really degenerated and gone to the dogs. They were so negative, everything was bad. They discussed how bad the USA was. The President and the Congress are so evil and bad, all they desire is power and money. Later the discussion turned schools were lacking in their intellectual state and in moral standards and the teachers were dishonest. After they put down all the school staff their discussion turned to the church. They talked a long time about the decline of the church and how to church has been sinking to new lows. They criticized the decay of preachers and deacons. Then they finally discussed the condition of the family in the world today. All the changes have worsen the state of the family. Families are weaker and less usefulness and the family is crumbling right before our eyes.
After several hours the couple stopped to eat and walk around. When they got back in the car the discussion continued as to how disappointing life has become. The wife turned the discussion to IS REAL CHANGE POSSIBLE?
They discussed their worries and fears and they were so shocked and disgusted with this TERRIBLE WORLD. Can this DEPLORABLE WORLD REALLY CHANGE? Their conclusion was NO, WE ARE IN A TERRIBLE TRAP AND EVERYONE WAS GOING TO HELL IN A HAND BASKET.
There was a time of quietness in the car as the couple just pondered how bad everything had become. The husband said to his wife: DEAR, IF WE COULD CHANGE THE WORLD, WHAT WOULD WE CHANGE? The wife mediated on the question. After thinking the husband began angrily speaking: I KNOW WHAT I WOULD CHANGE FIRST IF I COULD!!! I WOULD CHANGE YOU! Honey, I would have you mouth stapled shut? I would put you on a diet? I would make you keep the house clean? I would keep you off the computer? I would make you comb and curl your hair? I would make you respect me? Most of all, I would make you listen to me? He was so proud of himself. HE WOULD CHANGE HIS WIFE FIRST! SHE REALLY NEEDED AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT AND HE COULD TELL HER WHAT TO DO?
The wife started crying and the husband said: OK DEAR, WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE IF YOU COULD? She said: I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD DO!!! I WOULD LEAVE YOU! She went on to say: The reason my mother cried at our wedding was because she said: I WAS MARRYING A MAN JUST LIKE MY DAD...

OUR REAL ENEMY HAS A GREAT DESIRE TO SIFT GOD'S PEOPLE... BUT WE MUST REALIZE THAT IN SOME WAYS THIS SIFTING IS A WORK OF HEAVEN...
This sifting process does not hurt the purity of the grain.
This process that the enemy has planned to destroy, will reveal the PRECIOUS SEED at the Master's feet.
Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
JESUS HAS A DIVINE PLAN... IN THIS SIFTING PROCESS WE FIND THE GREAT COMFORT OF INTERCESSION AND PRAYER...

While we find great comfort that Jesus is pulling for us through this sifting, we ALSO MUST SEE WE HAVE THE SELF-RESPONSIBILITY TO PRAY OUR SELF...
I HAVE PRAYED SAYS JESUS--- BUT SEE THE TRUTH --- THY FAITH FAILS NOT...
CORN HAD TO BE WINNOWED! A CONTRARY BLOWING WILL REVEAL THE TRUTH...
One would throw up the shelled corn up in the air by a shovel...AGAINST THE WIND...
In the evening or at night there would blow a WEST WIND blowing from the sea.
The NORTH WIND was too strong...
The EAST WIND came in gust...
You could not depend on the SOUTH WIND...
With the WEST WIND EMPOWERED BY A WINNOWING FAN... THE FAN WOULD BLOW AWAY THE CHAFF...
THERE IS A WINNOWING FAN that performs the process of revealing the HUSK and the CHAFF and the SOLID GOOD SEED WILL REMAIN TRUE AND FAITHFUL... THE PROMISE IS PRESERVED...
God will never lose HIS SHEEP--- HIS DIAMONDS...
YOU... THERE IS BAIT --- BEWARE OF THE BAIT
THERE IS A THREE FOLD PURPOSE OF OUR ENEMY ... HE IS AFTER YOU

We can get so heavy and discouraged --- while the battle is about you --- THE BATTLE IS ABOUT YOURS...
When your dreams are crushed and your hope is gone --- THE BATTLE IS MORE THAN YOU ---
THE BATTLE IS ABOUT YOURS... THE ENEMY WILL TAKE YOUR...
