Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
THE ARE TWO THINGS WHERE IN GOOD OR BAD, RIGHTEOUSNESS OR EVIL FLOW...
THE HEART AND THE MOUTH...
Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

THERE ARE DIRECT RELATIONSHIPS AND CORRELATIONS BETWEEN THE ISSUES OF THE HEART AND THE ISSUES OF THE TONGUE WITH OUR PROBLEMS IN SOCIETY, THE FAMILY AND THE CHURCH.
James 3:8 (KJV) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
James 3:8 (MSG) but you can't tame a tongue—it's never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer.
THERE WAS A COLD WAR GOING ON IN THE WORLD.
THERE WAS A POWERFUL LEADER IN THE SOVIET UNION NAMED NIKITA KHRUSHCHEV.
Remember the Cuban Crisis where Soviet Missiles were placed 90 miles south of Florida.
There was a standoff between the two world powers: USSR-USA.
John Kennedy and the USA was in a panic. The COLD WAR seemed to be coming to a head.
Finally after many dark days, the USSR backed down.
NIKITA KHRUSHCHEV CLEARED WARNED THE USA: THE USA WILL HAVE A MIGHTY FALL AND THE FALL WILL NOT COME FROM EXTERNAL ENEMIES. THE FALL OF THE USA WILL COME FROM WITHIN... THERE WILL BE NO SHOTS FIRED FROM ENEMIES... THE USA WILL DESTROY ITSELF.
In the 1950's J. EDGAR HOOVER was the head of the FBI.
The government spent several million dollars on a study of what ails the USA and what could we do about it?
HOOVER and his committee studied for weeks...
THEIR CONCLUSION WAS SIMPLE...

GOD HAS A WONDERFUL PLAN. GOD'S PLAN HAS MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS...
THERE IS OUTSIDE AND INSIDE...

TODAY WE SPENT GREAT EFFORT AND EXPENSE TO CARE FOR THE OUTSIDE---
We have billions of dollars of beauty treatment... shoes, clothes, etc.
We spend billions of dollars for exercise equipment and gym memberships.
We spend billions on EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND LEARNING SYSTEMS...
We spend billions on alcohol-drug rehab...
BILLIONS ARE SPENT ON LAWYERS, JAILS, PRISONS and correction.
WE ARE SO SEXUALLY CONFUSED. NAMBA, HOMOSEXUALITY, TRANS-SEXUAL, BI-SEXUAL, MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE, MULTIPLE PARTNERS.
WE SPEND BILLIONS ON SPORTS ... The arenas are larger and larger. Tax funding builds and the money is never repaid. STUDY THE HEART?
We are at A HUGH DEBT PROBLEM around the world. Borrow today, pay interest the rest of our lives.
Health Care systems are on the brink of destruction... STUDY THE HEART?
INTERNAL PROBLEMS OFTEN HAVE EXTERNAL EXPRESSIONS...
There is a call for more ELECTRIC CHAIRS --- WHEN PERHAPS THE PROBLEM IS THE HIGH CHAIR?
SEEMS WE ARE SO FOCUSED ON THE OUTSIDE OF A MAN...
WE MISS THE PROBLEM OF THE HEART --- IT IS INTERNAL NOT EXTERNAL.
the heart of the problem is very clear--- WE HAVE HEART PROBLEMS...
WE HAVE A COMPLAINING, HEART MURMUR...
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
WE ARE PUTTING ALL OF EGGS IN THE VISUAL FIELD AREA.

EVERYTHING YOU SEE WILL GO UP IN FIRE...
WE HAVE SOME SO HEAVENLY MINDED THAT THEY ARE WORTHLESS DREAMERS...
WE HAVE ALLOWED THIS BUDGET DEMON GROW TO THE POINT THAT THE CHURCH THINGS MONEY IS THE ANSWER.
We are so near-sighted? Far-sighted? And TUNNEL VISION?
WE REFUSE TO SAY THE TRUTH FOR FEAR OF OFFENDING SINNERS.

SEEKER FRIENDLY IS GOOD? HUGE CROWDS ARE WONDERFUL --- BUT THE CHURCH HAS BECOME SELF-FEEDING--- PERPETUAL BABYHOOD--- RUB THE BELLIES OF THE ANGRY SLEEPING SAINTS--- JUST GIVE MORE MONEY.
WE AT LEAST NEED BIFOCALS... TO SEE EARTH AND HEAVEN...
There is an aging process that often requires two visual aids.
This calls for two different solutions to STAY FOCUSED...
Often times vision requires BIFOCALS...
BIFOCALS HAVE DIVIDED LENSES THAT HELP PEOPLE SEE THINGS THAT ARE NEAR BY... (the bottom of the lenses)
then the top part of the lenses help us see THINGS THAT ARE FAR AWAY...
MAY WE NEVER FORGET ---HELL IS REAL...
SIN COST DEARLY --- SCARS GO DEEP--- WE MUST ARISE ABOVE ENTERTAINMENT AND FREE FOOD...
YOU CAN NOT GET PREACHERS AND LEADERS TO ATTEND FUNCTIONS WITHOUT STEAK DINNERS.
Mark 11:17 (KJV) And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

PLEASE, DON'T FORGET GOD... WE HAVE SPIRITUAL ALZHEIMER'S...

CONCLUSION: WE NEED SOME BIFOCALS TO SEE BUT EARTH AND HEAVEN... WE NEED A RETURN TO THE ALTARS TO ALTER THE FAMILIES AND THE CHURCHES.

FATHER GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR VISUAL FIELDS TO SEE THE ETERNAL AND WEIGHTIER MATTERS. Sure we are carnal, but never forget we are SPIRIT, soul and body. Our priorities must returned to seek first the kingdom.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
WE NEED ALL GENERATIONS SERVING THE LORD WITH GREAT ZEAL. GOD HEAL THE HEART OF THIS NATION AND THIS CHURCH. MAY WE FOCUS ON THE ETERNAL...
