BUILD BY FAITH ... GOD HAD A LESSON TO TEACH...
ABRAHAM HAD A LESSON TO LEARN...
ISAAC HAD A LESSON TO LEARN...
DAD, DEAR OLD DAD:
WE HAVE WOOD! CHECK.
WE HAVE THE FIRE! CHECK.
BUT DAD WE HAVE NO LAMB...
Genesis 22:7And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
WHILE BUILDING THE ALTAR ABRAHAM AND ISAAC HAD A DEEP DISCUSSION...
They had to learn to be able to teach WHAT FAITH AND TRUST REALLY WERE...
Genesis 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and
Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
GOD HAS REGENERATIVE POWER... GOD CAN!
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Did you hear GOD HAS CREATIVE POWER...
HE CAN MAKE NOTHING BY SAYING THE WORD:
LET THERE BE LIGHT AND THERE WAS LIGHT...
One day God's enemy said: Let us have a contest? Let see who can build a man?
The Devil reached down and got some dust... God said: WAIT A MINUTE, THAT IS MY DUST
THAT I CREATED... YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT FROM NOTHING.
SATAN BOWED HIS HEAD AND WALKED AWAY. HE DOES NOT HAVE PRO-CREATIVE POWER.
SATAN EXIST BECAUSE GOD MADE HIM.
GOD HAS A PLAN... YES, GOD CAN...
WHAT SEEMS TO BE BAD, REALLY BAD --- IF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GOD TO SHOW OFF...

DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MIDWESTERN CITY THAT WAS IN SERIOUS DROUGHT?
One farmer was raising chickens to sale and sale their eggs and pay the debt on his
farm. The corn was dying and all the crops were failing because millions of grasshoppers
were destroying everything green. At dinner time the farmer told his wife. Honey, we are
going to lose everything that we have worked for all these years.
His wife said: NO! Dear, God will provide a way. God always has, and He always will.
She explained the power of prayer and they would begin praying.
One day the farmer was on his tractor driving over the farm and he saw the damage,
it was 100% failure and the grasshopper roamed at will. The man turned the tractor off and
climbed down and fell to his knees. He began praying with all his heart. He said: Now, Lord
we have TRUSTED YOU AND YOUR PLAN SINCE ME AND MAW MARRIED. Our family is
going to lose the farm and we will be hungry and we may face death as a slow and painful
process. WE HAVE ALWAYS TRUSTED YOU BUT NOW THE GRASSHOPPERS SEEM
TO HAVE DEFEATED US. OUR CHICKENS ARE DYING, THEY ARE LAYING NO EGGS.
WE HAVE NOTHING BUT OUR HOPE IN YOU. LOOKS LIKE OUR FAITH IS DYING ALSO.
The man was kneeling by the old John Deer and he thought he heard a voice? He
listened very closely and he heard a voice very plainly. " LET THE CHICKENS OUT OF
THE HOUSES!"
The man quickly replied: GOD, WE CAN'T LET THE CHICKENS OUT OF THE HOUSES,
THEY WILL RUN WILD AND WE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CATCH THEM!
The old man heard the voice again: TRUST ME, LET THE CHICKENS OUT OF THE
HOUSES. At dinner time the man told his wife the "CRAZY VOICE TOLD HIM: LET THE
CHICKENS OUT."
The faithful wife said: WHY NOT? THEY WILL DIE ANYWAY IF WE DON'T TRY?
WHY NOT TRUST THE LORD, WE ALWAYS HAVE!"
4:30 am the next morning the old man went to the huge hen houses and just flew open
the doors. Slowly the thousands of chicken wander out and they began eating the
grasshoppers. The skinny weak chickens thrived on the grasshoppers. At evening the
chicken returned to roost in the houses. The chickens started laying so many eggs.
They hatched new biddies. The eggs were bountiful. The farmer started loading the eggs
and going to every store in the area selling eggs. They also started selling chickens for
Sunday dinners.
As the A TEAM WOULD SAY: I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER.
THESE PROBLEMS ARE GOING TO KILL ME?

THE FAMOUS MISSIONARY HUDSON TAYLOR
There was a famous missionary of yesteryear that going to China to carry the gospel.
He was on a ship between the Malaysian Peninsula and the island of Sumatra. Many ships
have had problems in this area of the ocean.
One morning the Captain of the ship knew they were in chance of great peril. So the
Captain ran to the man of God's room and knocked on his door. Hudson opened the
door and could see alarm on the Captain's face. The Captain explained: "WE HAVE NO
WIND AND WE ARE DRIFTING DANGEROUS CLOSE TO THE ISLAND OF CANNIBALS!"
Hudson said: " WHAT CAN I DO?"
The Captain explained: " PRAY FOR WIND!!!"
Hudson replied: " OK, I WILL PRAY FOR THE WIND, BUT YOU MUST GO IMMEDIATELY
AND SET THE SAILS."
The Captain said: "Sir, the sailors on this ship will say I am crazy, if I give the orders to
set the sails and there is no wind?"
Hudson demanded: Before I pray you must set the sails and prepare to steer the
course. The Captain agreed to set the sails if Hudson would pray.
About 45 minutes later the Captain was running and returned to Hudson's room. The
Captain said: " SIR, YOU MUST STOP PRAYING, WE HAVE MORE WIND THAN WE CAN
HANDLE!"
OUR NEGATIVITY AND COMPLAINING WILL ALWAYS HINDER THE MOVE OF GOD...
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Hebrews 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
WILL THIS PROBLEM HANDCUFF GOD?
Matthew 13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
WHAT HARVEST WILL "UNBELIEF" BRING?
Is bad for your health.
It causes:
Fear
Anxiety
Depression
Insomnia
Stress
Ulcers
And various and sundry other "physical and emotional infirmities"
A "faith filled Merry Heart"
Will cause you to be healthy.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
DOUBT CAN KILL MIRACLES...
John 6:9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
GIDEON... REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE ARMY?

CONCLUSION: GOD IS NEVER SURPRISE BY YOUR PROBLEMS...
