NEGATIVE LOGIC? AM I CORRECTABLE?
THERE ARE VERY FEW SCHOLARS, MOST OF US ARE STUDENT IN THE SCHOOL OF LIFE.
CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK... AND YOU CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE WORLD...
When we face problems and trials we have this great PSYCHOLOGICAL ABILITY called DENIAL.
We can make up all kinds of "new truth" that no one believes but the person saying it.
PSYCHOLOGY: a condition in which someone will not admit something that is sad, painful even if what they are saying is not real or not true. Thus they EXCUSE THEIR BEHAVIOR and thus REFUSE TO ADMIT THE TRUTH OR REALITY.
Matthew 26:35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
WE SEEM TO GIVE PETER AL THE CREDIT FOR THE DENIAL... BUT IT APPEARS THERE WERE AT LEAST 11 OTHERS THAT DENIED...
prayer changes this...three men (ELIJAH, MOSES AND JESUS) were TRANSFIGURED... CHANGED BY PRAYER...
Luke 9:28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
IF YOU SLEEP THROUGH PRAYER TIME --- YOU ARE IN DENIAL...
YOU CAN NOT BUILD THREE CHURCHES ON SLEEPS...
32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
PETER WAS WEAKER AND STUBBORN AND WOULD NOT ADMIT AND TAKE OWNERSHIP
AND WOULD DENY THE TRUTH.
PETER LATER LEARNS TO SEE THE PROBLEMS AND REPENT.
Matthew 26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
WE ALL HAVE A BUILT IN EXCUSE SYSTEM THAT TENDS TO BE QUICK TO DENY OUR PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL WEAKNESSES.

When I taught school testing was part of learning. We were taught: TEACH, TEST, RETEACH, REVIEW AND TEST AGAIN.
I was teaching the 6th grade and I had a smart, beautiful young lady. She had one serious problem. She CHEATED ... She knew the material but for some reason she felt the NEED TO CHEAT. We normally used a cover sheet over the test to limit the visual field. I often saw her cheating.
I gave several speeches, CHEATING IS STEALING and is not acceptable. She would borrow answers from those around her. Her behavior was habitual. So I asked her to stand behind and help me wash the black board. We had this discussion, one on one... Cheating is stealing, lying and not right. She absolutely agreed with me.
She had this great ability to cheat and DENY she did? I talked several times and she steal cheated. I put her next to the smartest boy in the class. I said: David, I will give you 100% if you write stupid answer to each history question. He would have made 100% anyway.
The first quest was: WHAT COLOR WAS GEORGE WASHINGTON'S WHITE HORSE? David wrote purple with pink spots. One answer he wrote was Mickey Mouse. His answers were crazy.
When the others went to PE, I asked the girl: WHY DID YOU CHEAT? In great anger, she replied: I WOULD NEVER CHEAT? I baited her, she did not realize she swallowed the bait... hook, line, and sinker.
She went on to tell me: I AM A CHRISTIAN AND I WOULD NEVER CHEAT.
I said, Let us grade the paper together. What color was George Washington's white horse? I said: You wrote,
purple with pink spots. She said: I never understood the question? I said you cheat young lady. SHE HIT MY DESK AND SAID, I WOULD NEVER CHEAT! I am a christian! I said: WHAT DO YOU MEAN, MICKEY MOUSE? She explained she was under a lot of stress was why the crazy answers.
I pulled out David's paper and read his answers... SHE SAID, WHAT A COINCIDENCE THAT THEIR ANSWERS WERE THE SAME? My heart broke. I asked the question to her and she answered every one of them. She knew the material --- FOR SOME REASON SHE FELT THE NEED TO CHEAT. She never did admit she was CHEATING.
SEEMS WE HAVE THIS GREAT ABILITY TO DENY OUR PROBLEMS --- THE CAUSE AND EFFECT?
IS IT POSSIBLE TO LIE TO YOURSELF? HOW STRONG CAN THIS SENSE OF DENIAL BE? Can we not realize THE LORD DEPARTED?
Judges 16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

How can GOD LEAVE US AND WE DO NOT EVEN KNOW IT?
I SAW THE FANCY CLOTHES, THE SILVER, AND THE GOLD --- I COVETED THEM...
WHAT'S THIS GOING TO HURT... I WILL HIDE "MY STUFF." I NEVER BELIEVED THE PREACHER OR GOD...
Deny the wrong, I CAN NOT SEE THE HARM?

WILL WE LEARN TO WALK BY FAITH? DO WE REALLY TRUST GOD? WHEN THE STORMS ARE RAGING HIGH? WHEN THE DOCTORS TELL US WHAT WE FEAR? CAN WE SEE BEYOND THE PILL BOTTLE?

ONE OF THE DIFFERENCES IN A MANTHAT IS GOD'S FRIEND... AND A SERVANT IS THEIR VISUAL FIELD? THE SERVANT SEES THE ENEMY AND GROWS FEAR...
THE MAN OF GOD FOCUSES BEYOND THE PROBLEM AND SEES THE INVISIBLE...
Are you an expert and have a committee that identifies troubles, afflictions, trials UNTIL YOU HAVE GROWN LITTLE PROBLEMS INTO GIANTS?
This is our light affliction... we see beyond that that is seen?
GEHAZI, GEHAZI --- ELIJAH THEN ELISHA, SHOULD HAVE GROWN INTO GEHAZI...
GEHAZI WAS NEGATIVE AND TRAPPED IN THE NEGATIVITY OF POOR VISION...
THE KING FOUND ELISHA TO SEE THE INVISIBLE AND DEFEAT HIM...
THE KING SAYS KILL THATOLD MAN...
GEHAZI SAW THE ENEMY--- FEAR, WORRY--- WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
2 Kings 6:14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO... THE VISION BREEDS FEAR...
ELISHA HAD LEARNED, DON'T BELIEVE YOU EYES--- BELIEVE GOD'S PLAN...
HIS PRAYER WAS SIMPLE... OPEN THE EYES OF THE SERVANT TO SEE THE INVISIBLE...
2 Kings 6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
NOT ONLY DOES GOD WANT US TO HAVE VISION, GOD CAN CLOSE THE EYES OF THE ENEMY.
2 Kings 6:18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
CONCLUSION: QUIT OFFERING EXCUSES AND DENYING PROBLEMS. Are we human beings that are having a spiritual experience? Or are we SPIRITUAL BEINGS HAVING a human experience? We must learn this walk is by faith. We cannot always believe our emotions, feelings. We must know the visual field can distort the spiritual reality. Angels are encamped around us.
Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
We cannot always trust reasoning, logic, feelings and emotions. May we learn to see the visible. This pain can bring glory. May the temporal things yield to the eternal value system of God. God grant us the ability to see the invisible.
