YOU MUST GET EXCITED TO ACCOMPLISH MUCH WRITING?
DO YOU WANT TO GET SOMEONE'S ATTENTION...
A LITTLE FIRE WILL GET SOME ATTENTION ---
APATHY WILL BRING DEFEAT.
YEARS MAY WRINKLE THE SKIN,
BUT THE LACK OF ZEAL AND ENTHUSIAM WILL WRINKLE ONE'S SPIRIT.
DAVID HAD A FRIEND HE LISTENED TO ...
ABSALOM HAD NOT SEEN HIS DAD IN 5 LONG YEARS...
Absalom knew Joab had favor with David...
Absalom asked Joab on several occasions to talk to his Dad.
Joab was always too busy or he forgot, or maybe he did not want to bring this subject
up before King David.
2 Samuel 14:30 Therefore he said unto his servants, See, Joab's field is near mine, and he
hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom's servants set the field on fire.
31 Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto his house, and said unto him, Wherefore have
thy servants set my field on fire? 32 And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee,
saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am I come from
Geshur? it had been good for me to have been there still: now therefore let me see the king's
face; and if there be any iniquity in me, let him kill me. 33 So Joab came to the king, and told
him: and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his
face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.
ABSALOM DECIDED I WILL GET JOAB'S ATTENTION...
I WILL SET HIS FIELDS ON FIRE...
Now he will get excited.
HAVE YOU EVER DESIRED TO BE NOT ORDINARY OR NOT COMMON?
ENTHUSIASM IS CONTAGEOUS AND SO IS THE LACK OF IT.
A cold heart is kind of like butter, --- it does not spread easily?
HE WHO HAS NO FIRE WITHIN CAN NOT WARM OTHERS?

DIFFERENCE:
The quality that makes a person or thing unlike another.
Fact that distinguishes one from another.
Not the same, not ordinary or common...
One of my sincere GOALS IN LIFE IS: I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE...
1 Peter 3:8-12 (NKJV) Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another;
love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; 9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling,
but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
10 For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his
lips from speaking deceit. 11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and
pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
I WOULD LOVE TO OPERATE IN:
1. UNITY --- agreeable, one mind, belong together, harmony
2. COMPASSION-LOVE --- wanting to help someone in need, feel like I CARE
3. TENDERHEARTED--- easily moved
4. COURTEOUS---very polite, giving respect, being considerate
5. NOT VENGEFUL--- quick to forgive, never want to hurt, not get even, not desiring punishment,
mercy, kindness, forbearance
6. GIVE BLESSINGS--- approval, help, encourage, bring joy, to give hope and confidence.
7. TO CONTROL YOUR TONGUE
8. NOT DO EVIL
9. TO DO GOOD
10. BE A PEACE MAKER AS WELL AS A PEACE KEEPER
11. PRAY
MANY ASK THE QUESTION --- WILL I MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
A BETTER QUESTION TO ASK MAYBE --- WHAT DIFFERENCE AM I MAKING?
OR WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL I MAKE?
Each day is a gift from God what we do with that day is a gift back to Him.
We pray God encourage and refresh you daily.
May we be excited to be alive, and the abundant life that will live forever.
We will just move away and be with the Lord.
Until then God help me be quick to forgive and to be kind to the unkind.
COMPASSION THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE MUST SHINE BRIGHT EVEN IN THE DARKNESS.
WE MUST TRUST THE UNSEEN HAND.
Have we learned that it is EASY to trust God when LIFE IS EASY?
WHAT DO WE DO WHEN ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE?
ADVERSITY??? AVERSITY CAN BE GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!!!
During times of fear, worry, trouble and trials we might tend to DOUBT SELF and OTHERS?
Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV) Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.

Proverbs 12:25 (MSG) Worry weighs us down; a cheerful word picks us up.
NEVER DOUBT THAT:
1. JESUS LOVES YOU.
2. WE MUST TRUST GOD'S BIGGER PICTURE.
We might not understand what God is trying to do today?
3. GOD IS GOD... TRUST DIVINE TIMING...

MAKE A DIFFERENCE --- THIS BAD MAY BE GOOD?
IT MAY BE EASY TO LOOSE SIGHT OF THE GOAL...
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to his purpose.
There was a player for the University of California Berkeley THAT BECAME VERY FAMOUS
and is well known in FOOTBALL HISTORY...
HIS NAME IS ROY RIEGELS... WELL THAT IS NOT THE NAME IS IS WELL KNOWN FOR...
Roy played both ways: Center and Nose Tackle. He played 1927---1929.
Roy's fame comes from THE 1929 ROSE BOWL.
GEORGIA TECH FUMBLED THE FOOTBALL IN A VERY HARD HIT, WE CALL SLOBBER KNOCKER.
ROY WAS DASED, BUT HE PICKED UP THE FOOTBALL AND RAN 69 YARDS...
THE NAME MOST KNOW HIM BY IS: WRONG WAY ROY.
Roy Riegels was tackled by his own player on the one yard line to KEEP HIM FROM SCORING
FOR GEORGIA TECH.
WRONG WAY ROY RIEGELS' name would have been forgotten if he had ran the right way?
Dan Gutman wrote a book: "THE DAY ROY RIEGELS RAN THE WRONG WAY"
WRONG WAY ROY has been used my motivational speakers 86 years as he has been used
FOR HIS LIFE AS AN EXAMPLE OF OVERCOMING SETBACKS.
As a matter of fact Wrong Way Roy was voted into the hall of fame by Georgia Tech as they won
the game that day because of his WRONG WAY?
WRONG WAY ROY STATED: My blunder made me a better person as I learned:
YOU MUST BOUNCE BACK. Any time WRONG WAY ROY heard of another player
doing the same thing, he would write them a letter to encourage them.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO FAIL? A CALL WITHIN A CALL...
A young reporter once asked MOTHER TERESA?
You have failed miserably? You have feed poor people for decades and there are more
hungry people today than when you started? There are poor people dying daily?
MOTHER TERESA LOWERED HER HEAD AND REPLIED:
GOD NEVER CALLED ME TO BE SUCCESSFUL, HE CALLED ME TO BE FAITHFUL...
In Albanian on August 26,1910 a quiet beginning started of ONE PERSON THAT MADE A
DIFFERENCE.
***Her name was ANJEZE GONXHE BOJAXHIU (which means rose bud or little flower.)
She was just a little girl raised in Albanian. By the AGE OF 12, Rose Bud felt like she
could make a difference and SHE WANTED TO GIVE HER LIFE TO GOD and make a
commitment to give herself to serve people.
At the age of 18 Rose Bud left home to travel to IRELAND to learn to speak ENGLISH.
She never saw her Mother, Dad or sisters again. IN 1929 ROSE BUD TRAVELED TO INDIA
where she worked with Catholic Charities as a NUN living in comfortable settings.
AS A NUN SHE TOOK A SOLEMN VOW OF POVERTY, CHASTITY, AND OBEDIENCE.
IN 1946 ROSE BUD FOUND "THE CALL" WHILE RIDING ON A TRAIN ===
SHE CALLED THIS "THE CALL WITHIN THE CALL." The Lord Jesus briefly appeared
to her to devote her total life to the poorest of the poor and dying in Calcutta, India.
1949, THREE YEARS INTO THE CALL AND WHILE WORKING IN CALCUTTA,
MOTHER TERESA HAD AN EXPERIENCE SHE PENNED IN HER JOURNAL...
SHE WAS FILLED WITH DOUBT, LONELINESS AND WAS TEMPTED TO RETURN
TO HER COMFORTABLE LIFESTYLE AS A NUN...
BUT WE DEAREST RESOLVE TERESA DECIDED:
"TO BE COVERED WITH THE POVERTY OF THE CROSS."
MOTHER TERESA ADDED A FOURTH SOLEMN VOW. 1. POVERTY, 2. CHASTITY,
3. OBEDIENCE, AND 4. WHOLE HEARTED SERVICE TO THE POOREST OF THE POOR.
In 1950 Mother Teresa started the MISSIONARIES OF CHARITY with about 10 people.
In 2012 there were 4,500 sisters in 133 countries to help:
HIV/AIDS, LEPROSY, TUBERCULOSIS, FEEDING PROGRAMS, ORPHANAGES AND
SCHOOLS.
Their pledge was: CARE FOR THE HUNGRY, THE NAKED, THE HOMELESS, THE
CRIPPLED, THE BLIND, THE LEPERS, THOSE THAT FEEL UNWANTED, UNLOVED AND
UNCARED, THOSE THAT ARE A BURDEN TO SOCIETY AND SHUNNED BY EVERYONE.
TO PROVIDE A HOME A PURE HEART OF LOVE. WHERE THE POOR COULD DIE
WITH DIGNITY. WHERE THOSE THAT WOULD DIE LIKE AN ANIMAL COULD DIE LIKE
ANGELS ---LOVED AND WANTED.

Don't be lazy or slothful in serving the Lord. Write with the pen of LOVE.
