CATCH A NEW IDEA... I GET IT...
WE SOMEONE WITH VISION TO GRAB AN IDEA AND ADVANCE IT BY FAITH!
Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written,
The just shall live by faith.
Some see things the way they are and WONDER WHY?
God is searching for SOMEONE TO WALK BY FAITH AND LAUNCH A NEW IDEA, A NEW
SONG, A NEW THOUGHT INTO EXISTENCE.
SOME SEE THINGS AS THEY COULD BE AND SAY: WHY NOT?
IDEA: A THOUGHT, A PLAN, A SUGGESTION ABOUT WHAT TO DO...
SOMETHING THAT YOU IMAGINE OR PIICTURE IN YOUR MIND, A PLAN OF ACTION...
a visible representation of a conception,
WHY SIT HERE UNTIL WE DIE? FAITH BIRTHS AN IDEA! FAITH BIRTHS HOPE...
THE NATION WAS IN A SEASON OF TERRIBLE JUDGMENT...
never forget SIN HAS A PRICE TAG...
The drought, the famine was so terrible --- daily they were burying huge numbers of people.
THE PREACHER DECLARES: THERE IS A NEW MOVE OF GOD...
THE PREACHER LAUNCHES A NEW IDEA FOR A NEW DAY...
THERE WILL BE FOOD A PLENTY BY THIS TIME TOMORROW...
2 Kings 7:1 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow
about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley
for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
PROPHETIC WORDS WORK TWO WAYS! SOME WILL SEE THE MIRACLE AND
NEVER TASTE THE VICTORY.
WHERE THERE IS FAITH LAUNCHED, EXPECT THE NEGATIVE: I CAN'T! YOU CAN'T!
Where faith makes a DECLARATION, EXCEPT BIG MOUTH TO YELL:
I CAN'T! YOU CAN'T! WE CAN'T!
2 Kings 7:2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said,
Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?
And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
YOU ARE RIGHT BUDDY, YOU WILL SEE THE MIRACLE ---
BUT YOU WILL DIE HUNGRY!
THERE WERE FOUR MEN, UNCLEAN, SITTING OUT OF THE CAMP ---
MAYBE WE WILL DIE --- BUT COME ON LET'S DO SOMETHING!
FOUR VERY SICK MEN...
FOUR HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS WERE NOT GOING TO EXCUSE THE LACK OF
FAITH BY OFFERING AN EXCUSE...
2 Kings 7:3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one
to another, Why sit we here until we die?
FAITH SAYS: WHY DIE HERE?
WHY DIE IN THE CITY?
WHY NOT DO SOMETHING?
GOD MAY HAPPEN TO BLESS OUR FAITH EFFORT? !!!
WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM, WE ARE THE SOLUTION!
THE IDEA OF FAITH LAUNCHED LANDS A MIRACLE... THEY EAT PLENTY...
ONE OF THE FOUR BELCHES WITH A FULL STOMACH AND HAS A FAITH IDEA.
2 Kings 7:9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and
we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore
come, that we may go and tell the king's household.
THE TRAP OF THE NEGATIVE ALWAYS COMPLAINING BECOMES A PROPHECY
THE DOOM AND GLOOM IS THE DEATH GARGLE OF HOPELESS, FAITHLESS PEOPLE.
YOUR FAITH CHOICE WILL LAUNCH GOD'S WORD OR TRAP YOU IN HOPELESSNESS.
2 Kings 7:17 And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the
gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said,
who spake when the king came down to him.
WE ARE SO LIMITED... I CAN'T! YOU CAN'T! WE CAN'T!
William Barker wrote a book A SAVIOR FOR ALL SEASONS.
The book tells a very interesting story of I CAN'T, YOU CAN'T.
An educated Bishop was the East Coast was a great orator and was traveling around
the USA speaking where ever there was an open door.
The Bishop was speaking at a small Midwestern religious college.
There was a Professor at that college that taught PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY on the campus.
This Professor also served as THE PRESIDENT OF THE COLLEGE.
As the President he entertained this guest speaker in his home.
There was a small group of leaders invited to dinner. After the table was cleared
there was a discussion that was very interesting.
THE BISHOP WAS VERY CLEAR: THE SECONND COMING & MILLENNIUM COULD NOT
BE VERY FAR OFF, BECAUSE JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ABOUT NATURE HAD BEEN
DICOVERED AND THAT ALL INVENTIONS CONCEIVED.
The Bishop was very clear about the future.
THE YOUNG PROFESSOR THAT WAS THE COLLEGE PRESIDENT POLITELY DISAGREED
WITH THE BISHOP. The Professor said THERE WILL BE MANY MORE DISCOVERIES
COMING FORTH.
The Bishop was very angry with the Professor and challenged him: JUST NAME ONE
POSSIBILITY OF A NEW INVENTION THAT MAN WOULD DO?
The Professor said: FLYING! He predicted that within 50 years men would invent a
machine that would allow men to be able to fly.
"Nonsense! Absolute nonsense." The Bishop raised his voice.
"ONLY ANGELS ARE INTENDED TO FLY!"
YOU MAY NOT KNOW THE BISHOP MILTON?
YOU MAY HAPPEN TO KNOW THE BISHOP'S SONS.
THE BISHOP'S LAST NAME WAS WRIGHT. BISHOP MILTON WRIGHT HAD SEVEN
CHILDREN. BISHOP WRIGHT HAD TWO SONS YOU PROBABLY HAVE HEARD OF:
ORVILLE & WILBUR WRIGHT?
MILTON WRIGHT LIVED TO SEE HIS TWO SONS BUILD THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL
AIRPLANE IN 1902. THE WRIGHT BROTHERS LAUNCH THEIR INVENTION
DECEMBER 17, 1902.
WHAT COULD NOT BE ACCOMPLISHED WAS ACCOMPLISHED WHEN MEN
SET THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS BEYOND THE LIMITATIONS.
CONCLUSION: God has a plan of faith for you! You will never receive your needed
change and miracle sitting idle in your misery.
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew
himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done
foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Sure, I can't! Sure, you can't! Sure, we can't --- But I HAVE A FATHER...
I HAVE A FATHER WHO CAN. GOD KNOWS ABOUT THE DROUGHT. GOD KNOWS
ABOUT YOUR NEED. GET UP AND HEAD TOWARD YOUR MIRACLE.
The people that are saying: IT CAN'T BE DONE! ARE BEING PASSED BY THOSE
DOING IT. GET UP! TRY HARD! TRY AGAIN! GOD HAS PROVISIONS FOR THOSE OF VISION.
