24 EYES? 20 EYES DECLARE: WE ARE NOT ABLE!

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is
in you, than he that is in the world.
I. ARE WE TRAPPED IN NEGATIVISM?
HAS THE NEGATIVE MESSAGE TAKEN ROOT?
WILL WE LAY OUR FAITH ON THE LINE?
A. If we really listen to what is being said WE WILL BE SURROUND BY NEGATIVE SITUATIONS.
As a matter of fact the MAJORITY REPORT will bury us with NEGATIVE COMMENTS of why
we CAN'T DO THIS!
1. People seem very happy to SPEAK NEGATIVE COMMENTS OVER YOU.
2. We tend to give credence to the NEGATIVE because we have already THOUGHT that in
our own brain.
3. Better people than we are have tried and failed, so what makes us think WE CAN?
4. Sure they believe that THE PROMISE LAND WAS JUST AS GOD HAD PROMISED...
B. YES, IT IS MILK AND HONEY! BUT THE OBSTACLES ARE BIG AND WE ARE SO LITTLE.
Numbers 13:27-28 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us,
and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. 28 Nevertheless the people be
strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the
children of Anak there.
C. I GUESS OUR LIMITATIONS WILL LIMIT GOD?
Numbers 13:31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the
people; for they are stronger than we. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they
had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it,
is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a
great stature.
II. WE HAVE A TENDANCY TO BELIEVE THE MAJORITY REPORT? THE MOST LOGICAL?
WE WILL BELIEVE THE REPORT WE WANT TO BELIEVE.
John 12:38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who
hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
A. IF A COUPLE IS EXPECTING TO HAVE A BABY SHOULKD THEY BE PREPARING
FOR THE BIRTH OF THE CHILD?
The couple has not seen the BABY? They have not touched the baby? They have not heard
the baby cry --- BUT THEY BEGIN TO PREPARE FOR THE BLESSING!
B. BE HONEST WHAT ARE YOU PREPARING TO RECEIVE?
LET US BELIEVE FOR:
HEALING, RESTORATION, GET OUT OF DEBT, ---
C. If you listen to the news? Read face Book? BELIEVE ALL THE STUDIES?
1 out of 4 WILL "GET CANCER?" I GUESS I AM THE 1 OUT OF THE 4?
WHY NOT BE THE 3 OUT OF 4?
III. I WILL TRUST GOD? I WILL TRUST GOD!
A. IS IT STRANGE WE TRUST THE NEWS MEDIA AND TELEVISION MORE THAN THE WORD
OF GOD?
B. WE must put forth an HONEST EFFORT and INTENTIONAL ACTION teamed with our faith.
Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I
trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy
shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by
day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at
noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not
come nigh thee.
Psalm 91:1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust
him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you
with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease
that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.
C. I WILL TRUST GOD! HE IS MY GOD!
1. I SHALL FIND REST!
2. HE IS MY SAFETY --- MY REFUGE.
3. SHELTER NEATH HIS WINGS.
4. GOD WILL RESCUE YOU FROM THE TRAPS...
5. HE WILL PROCTECT FROM DISEASES.
6. HE WILL TAKE THE FEAR.
7. God will take care of any WEAPON formed against us.
8. We have nothing to DREAD.
9. THE POWERFUL LIGHT OF GOD PENETRATES ALL DARKNESS.
D. IF THE OBSTACLES ARE GREATER THAN US...
IV. AM I READY? --- WHAT ABOUT MY ATTITUDES? AM I PLANNING ALL WRONG?
WILL THIS PROBLEM BE MY DEFEAT? OR IS THIS PROBLEM IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?
DO WE REALLY BELIEVE THAT THROUGH GOD I AM ABLE TO FACE ANYTHING THAT
WILL COME MY WAY?
A. DO I REALLY THINK AND ACCEPT THAT I HAVE STRENGTH ---
NOT MY STRENGTH --- BUT HIS THAT CAN OPEN THE DOORS TO MIRACLES...
B. THERE WERE 24 EYES BETWEEN THE 12 SPIEIS...
20 EYES FOCUSED ON THE PROBLEMS ---
20 EYES WERE LINKED TO 10 MOUTHS --- THAT CRIED: no way, we can't!
C. 4 EYES AND 2 MOUTHS SAW THE SAME HUMAN LIMITATIONS, BUT THEY FOCUSED
BEYOUND THE PROBLEMS AND BEYOND AND GIANTS ---
4 EYES FOCUSED ON THE PROMISE... BEYOND THE MILK AND HONEY ---
4 EYES AND 2 MOUTHS MADE A DECLARATION OF FAITH ---
COME ON WE ARE ABLE? MAY THEY FOCUSED ON THE ABILITY OF THE GOD OF THE
PERPOMISE...
Numbers 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and
possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
V. QUIT FOCUSING THE WRONG THINGS!
QUIT PLANNING ON THE WRONG THINGS!
RELEASE YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION!
A. DO WE DOUBT GOD AND HIS PROMISES?
Do we DOUBT OURSELF?
B. WILL THIS STORM? THIS PROBLEM? THIS TRIAL?
WILL THIS AFFLICTION GET YOU TO DOUBT AND NOT TRUST GOD'S PLAN?
C. May our sheer desperation DRIVE US TO THE PROMISE...
Our enemy want us in gloom and despair.
VI. ARE WE SINKING?
THINK IT NO JOKING MATTER TO DOUBT IN DARKNESS WHAT GOD SAID IN THE LIGHT.
THE ANGELS BELIEVE!
THE DEVIL AND ALL HIS DEMONS BELIEVE...
A. Are we sinking?
PETER'S PRAYER MAY HAVE BEEN IN DANGER AND SHORT --- BUT HE PRAYED...
Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink,
he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
B. My friend, the eagle takes to the sky... The rabbit runs to it's hole... The bird flies away...
but WE KNOW THAT PRAYER IS OUR TOOL...
Even a short prayer like --- LORD, SAVE ME!
VII. YOUR SINKING IS GOD'S OPPORTUNITY...
COULD WE BE DROWNING IN THE WATERS OF TROUBLES AND AFFLICTIONS?
LORD, SAVE ME... I AM DESPERATE FOR YOU JESUS...
Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe;
help thou mine unbelief.
VIII. OFTEN WE MISS FOCUS ON WHAT I CAN DO ---
THE FOCUS MUST BE ON BEYOND THE PROMISE INTO THE REALM OF THE
STRENGTH BEYOND MY STRENGTH...
My trust is not in me... BUT IN THE GOD WHO MAKES ME.
Philippians 4:13 (KJV) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 (MOFF) In him who strengthens me I am able for anything.
Philippians 4:13 (MSG) Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One
who makes me who I am.
Philippians 4:13 (NIV) I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13 (NLT) For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13 (TLB) for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me
the strength and power.
Philippians 4:13 (YLT) For all things I have strength, in Christ's strengthening me;
CONCLUSION: We must quit putting our trust with the 20 eyes focused on the problems and
the giants. WE MUST QUIT AGREEING WITH THE WRONG EYES AND THE WRONG VOICES.
SPEAK LIFE. Keep the right attitudes...speak the promises. Believe the promises of God are for
you and yours. Let us BEAT THE ODDS BY ALLOWING GOD'S WORD TO THRIVE.
