FEW PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND THE GREAT MYSTERY OF THE POWER OF
THE TONGUE AND WORDS? PONDER WHY?
James 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn
about their whole body. 4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are
driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the
governor listeth. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things.
Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity:
so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the
course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
How often have a taught the GREAT ABILITY OF LITTLE?
A good illustration comes from OCTOBER 8, 1871 IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
Mrs. O'Leary was little lady that lived in a little area of Chicago.
Mrs. O'Leary had a little house and a little barn.
She had one little cow she milked every morning and every evening.
She drank some of the milk, but she sold a little for barter money.

HOW QUICK CAN A MOUTH GO FROM 0 TO 60?
James 1:19 (NLT) Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick
to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. 20 Human anger does not produce the
righteousness God desires.
There was a 10 year old girl. Her dad was a GAME WARDEN AT A WILD LIFE
resort in Africa. They lived in a beautiful home in the middle of the resort. The young
girl loved helping her Dad.
One day while on a trip the Dad found a dead tiger. There was a small baby tiger
trying to feed from the corpse of the mother. The baby was only a few pounds. The Game
Warden brought the bay tiger home until he could make arrangements for the baby.
His beautiful daughter begged her Dad, PLEASE, PLEASE LET ME KEEP THIS BABY
TIGER, I PROMISE TO TAKE CARE AND DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES.
So the dad agreed to allow his only child to keep the baby tiger for a few days.
The girl bottle fed the baby. She mixed the liquids and cleaned the bottles. The baby tiger
slept in her room. Several times a night the young girl warmed the formula and fed the
tiger. It was beautiful to watch the tiger and the girl play together. They grew up together.
Soon the baby was 20 pounds, 40 pounds, and the tiger got stronger and stronger.
THE DAD WARNED THE THE 10 YEAR OLD, WE HAVE TO RETURN THE BABY TO
THE WILD. THE GIRL WOULD WHINE AND CRY AND BEG THE DAD, PLEASE DAD
LET THE TIGER STAY.
The Dad would cave in and allow the girl to keep it longer. Soon the tiger was totally on meat.
The girl was now a teen-ager and the tiger weighed 150 pounds. They would play and play.
The tiger would run and jump and knock the girl down. The tiger was rough in playing.
The girl loved the tiger and the tiger knew nothing but the girl was it's mother.
ANOTHER GAME WARDEN CAME BY THEIR HOUSE AND SAW THE ADULT TIGER
AND THE GIRL PLAYING AND WAS ALARMED. THE OTHER WARDEN WARNED THE GIRL
AND THE FATHER ABOUT THE WILD TIGER... THAT NIGHT DAD GAVE A CLEAR
WARNING TO HIS BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, YOU ARE 16 AND DRIVING NOW. YOU HAVE
HAD THIS BABY 6 YEARS AND NOW THE TIGER WEIGHS OVER 300 POUNDS, WE ARE
GOING TO RELEASE THE TIGER.
The girl cried and cried. The girl would not eat and spent more and more time with the adult tiger.
They really loved each other. The girl would drive to school and come home and play with the
tiger. The tiger was very rough playing with the girl. One day the tiger scratched the girl.
The girl hid the cut from her dad.
One day the dad came home from a long day at work and pulled his car in the driveway.
As the dad walked around the house there was blood everywhere. The tiger had knocked the girl
down and playfully scratched the girl. The wild tiger smelled the blood and hit her with the razor
sharp nails. The girl was bleeding massively and the PET TIGER WENT WILD...
He started eating and licking the blood. Now the girl's body was twisted and torn and her
limb, lifeless body was there. The Dad ran to his only child and realized she was dead.
The Dad knew better. The neighbors had warned them. The other game wardens warned him.
HE KNEW BETTER! HIS DAUGHTER'S LOVE OVER RODE HIS PLAN AND NOW, SHE WAS
DEAD. COULD YOU REALLY BLAME THE 400 POUND ADULT TIGER?
THE WILD NATURE OF THE TIGER COULD NOT BE TAMED...
PLAYING GAMES WITH THE WILD WILL ALWAYS TURN BAD...

Did you hear about the HUGE FREIGHT CARRIER sailing through the ocean.
Someone came on the radio and said: WARNING, WARNING, HUGE SHIP YOU BETTER
CHANGE YOUR HEADING IMMEDIATELY, over.
The captain of the ship came back: NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, WE ARE CARRYING
MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF CRUDE OIL, YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE.
The voice on the radio again warned: CAPTAIN, IMMEDIATELY CHANGE YOUR HEADINGS
AND CHANGE YOUR COURSE...
In great anger the CAPTAIN ANSWERED: You must change your headings and go around
this HUGE SHIP?
THE VOICE ON THE RADIO SPOKE LOUD AND CLEAR... CAPTAIN OF THE OIL RIG,
CHANGE YOUR COURSE IMMEDIATELY --- NOW CHANGE, THIS IS THE LIGHT HOUSE,
WE CAN KNOW WHERE THE ROCKS AND DANGEROUS WATERS ARE. IF YOU DO NOT
MAKE IMMEDIATE HEADING CORRECTIONS --- THIS IS THE LIGHT HOUSE, YOU WILL
CRASH AND LOSE EVERYTHING --- THIS WARNING COMES CLEARLY FROM THE
LIGHT HOUSE.
A light house is set high above the dangerous rocks hidden under the tide waters.
The LIGHT HOUSE KEEP HAS A PROPER, CORRECT VIEW OF THE DANGERS SHIPS
FACE. A LIGHT HOUSE IS ON A HILL SIDE --- above the traps and perils of the rocks.
The light comes from a higher perspective than the ship's captain can see...
WANT TO DISCUSS VANITY? USELESSNESS?

THE SICK MAN HAD BEEN BITEN BY A RABIED SKUNK.
The family rushed the man and the dead skunk to the local rural doctor's office.
The man knew --- RABIES CAN BE A SURE KILLER...
After a few tests the doctor came out and told the man:
YES, YOU HAVE BEEN BITTEN BY A RABIED SKUNK AND YOU HAVE RABIES.
The patient asked the doctor for an ink pen and pad of paper.
The doctor thought the man was desiring to write his LAST WILL & TESTAMENT.
So the man was witting so fast.
The doctor had hope and told the man used to rabies meant sudden death, but today
I have medicine here that can cure the rabies, you are going to live.
The man said: I KNOW, DOC, I AM JUST WRITTING AND MAKING A LIST OF
THE PEOPLE I WANT TO BITE WHILE I AM STILL INFECTED!!!
CONCLUSION: BEWARE THE MYSTERY POWER OF WORDS CAN DESTROY.
