35 years ago, times were kind of different than they are today.
CHRISTMAS DAY Linda's parent purchased our son a powered remote car.
The little car had great potential, it would go fast, forward or backwards...
NO ONE READ THE BOX --- BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED.
Our son unwrapped the car, and it was so shiny and pretty, the TOY WAS BEFORE
US... but the motor was unless without batteries...
BACK THEN, NO STORES WERE OPEN ON CHRISTMAS DAY...
We searched the house? No batteries could be found.
There was a call to the neighbors, could you loan us some batteries...
The car was sitting idle, just put it back in the box...
The toy was not much good without the batteries.
While we had the toy car opened, we could not play with it...
THERE WERE: NO BATTERIES INCLUDED... ALL WE COULD DO WAS WAIT...
HAVE YOU LEARNED: LIFE DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERIES...
Our feelings and emotions can be enemies of THE FAITH...
ARISE, O GOD...
THE BATTLE OF REACT VS ACT...
WE MUST COME TO UNDERSTAND A LIFE DICTATED BY EMOTIONS AND
FEELINGS BECOME A BATTLE GROUND WITH FAITH...
We love to feel good and happy... Life is wonderful when everything is smooth and we
can understand and love is in the air.
BUT WE MUST LEARN WE CAN NOT BUILD A HEALTHY LIFE BASED ON EMOTIONS
AND FEELINGS...
OUR EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS WILL PLAY GAMES WITH OUR MINDS...
Life is a series of ups and downs. We must learn TO CONTROL OUR EMOTIONS AND
KEEP THEM IN CHECK...
Have you ever watched a HORROR MOVIE?
Your head knows what you are seeing is not real?
But your emotions and feelings PLAY MIND GAMES...
Hollywood has learned PEOPLE LOVE TO HAVE THEIR MINDS MANIPULATED TO
THE POINT THAT YOU BEGIN TO FEEL WHAT YOU ARE SEEING IS REAL...
You know that KILLER with the chain saw is not real? You know that baby doll is not
alive? YOU KNOW WHAT IS REALLY THERE IS NOT REALLY THERE...
BUT YOU FEEL LIKE IT IS REAL... AND IN THE MOMENT YOUR FEELINGS
TAKE OVER... YOUR MIND KNOWS... BUT YOUR FEELINGS DO NOT HAVE ANY
INTELLECT... YOU START REACTING TO WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN...
THEN WE COME TO THE UNDERSTANDING THAT WE KNOW FEELINGS AND FAITH
ARE AT OPPOSITE ENDS OF REALITY.
LIFT UP YOUR HEAD...
WHAT DO YOU SEE? HOW DO YOU FEEL?
GET A GRIPE ON HOW FEELINGS DISTORT REALITY...

upon paper. These words were sang across this nation on stages and in
churches... Today many years later the words are still real...

SLEEP? HARD TIMES BECOME DEATH ZONES --- BUT PROSPEROUS SEASONS

SPIRITUAL DANGER EXIST BEHIND EVERY DAY BASED ON FEELINGS...
People do not sleep facing lion's dens, and fiery furnaces, or waiting through Jordan's
chilly waters.
We seldom fall asleep CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN...
DANGER LURKS IN IDLE TIMES, when the warm winds blow and lull us...
Our feelings love sweet times? Soft pillows?
HERE, SET DOWN AND REST, YOU DESERVE SOME REST...
Our enemy loves to RUB THE BELLY OF SLEEPING SAINTS...
BEWARE LIFE IS MORE THAN EASY, HAPPY, HIGS AND KISSES...
I USED TO DO MORE THAN I DO NOW? I USE TO GIVE MORE THAN I DO NOW?
WE MUST BE VILIGRANT AND WATCHFUL ---

My mind knows it is NOT HOW MUCH WATER THE BOAT IS IN...
The question is HOW MUCH WATER IS IN THE BOAT...

MY EMOTIONS KNOW NOT ONLY AM I SINKING BUT THE OTHER SHIPS AROUND ME
ARE SINKING WITH NO HOPE...
ARISE MY FAITH --- OVERRIDE MY EMOTIONS...
I feel the storm? I feel the wind? The water is filling my boat?
MY FRIENDS, THERE IS GOOD NEWS... BEYOND MY FEELINGS --- THERE IS FAITH...
WE HAVE JESUS ON BOARD...
The great ADMIRAL OF THE DARK NIGHT ---
The great ADMIRAL OF THE SEA --- IS ON BOARD...
There is an answer beyond the ability of the storm...
SOMEBODY AWAKE THE SAVIOR...
MARK 4: 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake

rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there

JESUS IS THE LIGHTHOUSE IN THE DARK STORM...

WHILE BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED, WE NEED SOMEONE TO GO AND SPEAK---
JESUS WAKE UP! WE ARE DESPERATE FOR YOU!
FAITH SEES BEYOND THE WIND AND THE STORM ---
COME REJOICE WITH ME --- WHILE BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED,
WE HAVE THE POWER...
JESUS WILL EITHER CALM THE STORM---
OR JESUS WILL KEEP US CALM---
WE NEED TO MAKE SURE, JESUS IS IN THE BOAT...

WE NEED THE SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL TO ARISE AND RELEASE GOD'S
HAND... SOMEONE GO GET JESUS...
GOD HAS A PLAN--- BUT GOD NEEDS VEHICLES OF TRUTH TO LAUNCH
MISSILES OF HOPE, HEALING,
WILL WE SEND FOR JESUS OR SIT IDLELY BY...

lovest is sick.
SO YOU ARE BUYING BATTERIES ---THERE IS MORE...
FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS CAN TAKE PHYSICAL ACTION---
THEN DELAY CAN HINDER THE RELEASE OF FAITH...
John 11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother
had not died.
4 DAYS LATE? I HAVE EMOTIN FAITH --- BUT WE KNOW THIS IS TOO LATE ---
HOPE AND FAITH YIELD TO FACTS...
John 11:37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the
blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
CAN YOU HEAR THE CALL OF FAITH --- MOVE THE STONE?
FOUR DAYS LATE ON PURPOSE?
John 11:39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead,
saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
MY FRIENDS, WE HAVE THE BATTERIES --- SOMEBODY GET A HOLD OF JESUS...
John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
CONCLUSION: WILL YOU GO GET JESUS FOR OUR NEEDS? RETURN TO LOVE.
