COME, LET US REASON HOW LIFE AND DEATH HAVE SOME COMMON TRIATS
WITH THE CLOSET...
DEATH IS A CLOSET, A CHANGING ROOM...
It is where we go when we take our last breath...
We are in a terrible battle, seems like we slowly lose hope.
The winds of change are blowing us into uncharted waters.
We struggle and breath out the earthly air of pain and hurt,
to inhale the fresh, invigorating celestial air.
The light in the room slowly dims as we close our eyes and then as we lift our
eyes we see a new, bright of Jesus Christ...
FINALLY, WE REALIZE WE ARE HOME... OUR EYES SHALL FOCUS BEYOND
THE LIMITATIONS OF THE HUMAN FLESH INTO THE REALM OF IMMORTALITY,
AS WE ARE WELCOMED TO THE GREATEST REUNION OF THE AGES.
SOMETIMES LIFE IS LIKENED UNTO A CLOSET...
Jesus gave us a recommendation we should hear.
Matthew 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
Some have everything in order and each item in it's place.
WE HAVE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL CLOSETS WHERE WE STORE MEMORIES
AND PERSPECTIVES FROM OUR EXPERIENCES OF THE PAST AND HOPES OF
THE FUTURE...
COME, LET US REASON THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE HEART, THE MOUTH
AND OUR BEHAVIOR?
WE NEED TO LET GO OF SOME OF THE OLD STUFF THAT HAS CLUTTED
OUR MINDS AND EMOTIONS... LET GO!
BURY THE PAST, OR IT WILL BURY YOU?
Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out
of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
IF YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE CIRCUSTANCES --- THEN WHY NOT CHANGE
THE ATTITUDES AND FEELINGS...
COME, LET US ORGANIZE THE HEART AND MAKE ROOM FOR THE NEW...
COME. CLOSER AND LET US STUDY THE THOUGHT: DECREE...
The CREATOR is an ETERNAL GOD that does not change...
Same yesterday, same today, same forever...
God is HOLY, all-wise, all knowing, OMNIPOTENT, and SOVERIEGN...
Acts 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
COME WITH ME TO UNDERSTAND: KEYS ARE A SYMBOL OF AUTHORITY! DOMINION!
God created this world... At the end of each day --- GOD'S DECREE: "IT IS GOOD!"
God handed the KEYS OO THIS WORLD OVER TO MAN
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
ADAM AND EVE SOLD THE KEYS OF DOMINION TO THE ENEMY...
ON A HILL JUST OUT OF JERUSALEM JESUS DESCENDED AND ASCENDED AND
TOOK THE KEYS OVER AND RETURNED TH KEYS TO THE BELT OF THE SON OF GOD...
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore,
Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that
is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth;
and shutteth, and no man openeth;
REASON KNOWS THAT JESUS CAPTURE THE AUTHORITY KEYS AWAY FROM
THE DEVIL AND JESUS SHARED THAT AITHORITY WITH ALL BELIEVERS THAT
WILL DECLARE HIS WORD AND WORK BY FAITH...
Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever
thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in
heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
AS WE REASON LET US CONDER: WHAT IS A DECREE?
Decree is an official order given by someone in authority.
A decision that becomes legal and enforceable...
JESUS GAVE HIS PEOPLE THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE SPIRITUAL DECREES...
Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever
thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth
shall be loosed in heaven.
WE MUST UNDERSTAND THE BELIEVERS POWER IS REAL AND DELEGATED BY
GOD'S SON TO BE EXERCISED BY BELIEVERS...
DO WE REALIZE THERE IS A BINDING POWER ---
THE ABILITY TO HANDCUFF, IMPRISON, TIE UP...
WE HAVE THE DIVINE RIGHT TO USE GOD'S WORD TO TO COME AGAINST
THE THINGS CONTRARY TO GOD'S PLAN...
WE ALSO HAVE THE DECREEING POWER TO LOOSE ANYTHING THAT WILL HELP
US OPERATE IN GOD'S PERFECT WILL...
WE CAN LOOSEN, RELEASE, SET FREE, BREAK THE THINGS THAT WILL OPEN
THE DOORS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR JESUS TO MOVE...
WE MOST ALSO CONSIDER WISDOM AND BALANCE WHEN USING THE POWER
OF DECREE... LET US USE MODERATION...
Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather
rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
MAY WE MAKE THE DIVINE DECREE OF THE DOUBLE PORTION...
The old preacher was nearing the end of his journey and he asked his servant boy:
WHAT DO YOU DECREE FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS?
THE JOURNEY HAD GONE FROM
1. GILGAL (ROLLING STONE)
2. BETHEL (HOUSE OF GOD, ALTAR)
3. JERICHO (PRAISE)
4. JORDAN (DEATH TO SELF)
2 Kings 2:9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha,
Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee,
let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
ELISHA MADE A DIFFICULT DECREE,
BUT GOD HONOR HIS WORD.
2 Kings 2:10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when
I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
COME LET US DECREE PEACE, LOVE, UNITY IN THE FAMILY, AT WORK AND
IN THE CHURCH...
John 14:27 (KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Matthew 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest
at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer,
and thou be cast into prison.
Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any
thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
ONE LAST ITEM WE SHOULD DECREE IS TO OVERCOME THE SPIRIT OF
DEPRESSION, DISCOURAGEMENT. DEFEAT...
Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the
weak say, I am strong.
1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him,
because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his
daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
CONCLUSION: PERHAPS WE NEED TO REASON TOGETHER AND ALLOW
PART OF OUR PRAYER LIFE TO FOCUS ON THE ABILITY AND AUTHORITY
THAT JESUS GAVE US TO DECREE AND STAND ON THE PROMISES OF GOD.
