#15 LOVE UNDERSTANDS LIFE IS FULL OF INTERRUPTIONS
THERE MAY BE GREAT VALUE IN THE CHALLENGE OF DAILY INTERRUPTIONS.

LOVE UNDERSTAND THAT LIFE NEVER GOES AS PLANNED...
SOMETIMES INTERRUPTIONS ARE THE LIFE...

Life is kind of like a pair of BINOCULARS...
ALL LOOK THROUGH THE SAME LENSE--- THE PERSPECTIVE COMES FROM CONTRARY
ENDS... The pessimist and optimism look at the same situation --- one looks through the wrong
end...
The pessimistic person sees things near as far off... THEY MAKE EVERY THING LITTLE, they
can not see the consequences of their choices. They make God's blessing little and gripe and
complain. The family is aggravating, the job is mean...
THE BAD ATTITUDES ARE A NORM! The devil is on my back?
The optimistic person sees life through the designed purpose. The optimist sees God's blessings
as near and dear. They praise God and love other people. They appreciate their family. Their
job is a result of God's tender mercies... everything that seems distance is within reach...
THEY DO IT BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY CAN...
NOW LET US ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IN REALITY LITTLE IS NEEDED TO BRING JOY TO
AND INDIVIDUAL. IT IS A CHOICE.
JOY IS WITHIN YOU ---
JOY IS THE WAY OF LOOKING AT THINGS AND THE WAY YOU THINK!
NOW LET US READ YOUR FACE BOOK AND SEE?
MANY PEOPLE CAN NOT SEE THE ROLE OF INTERRUPTIONS... SOME TEND TO DEMAND
EACH DAY SHOULD BE INTERRUPTION FREE TO ACCOMPLISH THEIR GOALS.
LOVE UNDERSTANDS DAILY INTERRUPTIONS CAN NOT BE AVOIDED...
Do you remember from Andy of Mayberry that EARNEST T. BASS, the rock thrower
desired a girlfriend. Barney and Andy worked very hard to polish his dating skills.
At the dance EARNEST T. met this shy girl: RAMONA.
They began dancing and EARNEST T. was really enjoying himself when a man stepped
up and tapped him on the shoulder to dance with RAMONA.
Earnest T. tried to cut back in, the man refused. He tried several time and the other man
refused to stop. AT THAT POINT EARNEST T. GRABS RAMONA AND THEY WALK
OUTSIDE ... Earnest T's training never covered the AREA OF INTERRUPTIONS?
INTERRUPTION:
To stop or HINDER by breaking in...
To ask a question or say something while another person is speaking...
To say or do something that forces another person to stop...
To cause something to not be continuous...
To stop or change the smooth flow...
To doing something not expected, not wanted, or not welcomed...
Often times to be involved in something private in some annoying way...
It never fails when I am with a patient and start praying at the hospital, the phone rings?
A nurse comes in? Something seems to INTERRUPT the prayer?
OFTEN LIFE HANDS US BAD OR FRIGHTENING SITUATIONS...
THAT CAN PRODUCE ANXIETY, WORRY, OR FEAR...
In driving I have learned something I do not like: SPEED BUMPS.
I used to say SPEED BUMPS are because police don't do their job.
Now I have two police sons, I probably do not say that any more.
As I started this lesson, the phone has rang 3 times... ???
No, make it 4...
WHAT? LOVE MUST COME TO A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING THAT LIFE IS FULL OF
ALL KINDS OF INTERRUPTIONS!
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee;
but his heart is not with thee.
Have you ever really been into a movie or a ball game and POW, --- There is a bunny beating a
drum? Or maybe a family of bears talking about, of all things, TOILET PAPER?
Every 12 minutes or so: COMMERIAL?
May be we should look at it as a SNACK BREAK?
LOVE UNDERSTANDS, I TAKE WHAT I HAVE AND I MAKE THE BEST OF IT...
WE HAVE MANY STUDIES THAT SUGGEST INTERRUPTION ARE A PART OF ANY JOB!
Occasionally I watch POKER on TV. I do not understand the game at all.
But I watch a man with 100% chance of winning the pot, fold his hand an lose?
IS THAT A REAL LIFE SITUATION, PEOPLE LET INTERRUPTIONS BREAK THEIR
MIRACLE?
Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Proverbs 17:22 (NLT) A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
A recent study followed several PRINCIPALS around the school where they worked.
The average PRINCIPAL seemed to be INTERRUPTED ABOUT 1/3 OF THE DAY.
In the average day of a school principal they face between 25 and 30 interruptions.
A GOOD PRINCIPAL UNDERSTANDS THE JOB AND THAT INTERRUPTIONS ARE PART
OF THE JOB.
one cannot avoid interruptions --- one must LEARN HOW TO EXPECT AND PRIORITIZE
TO MANAGE EACH INTERRUPTUION BETTER!
We cannot EXPECT THE DAY TO BE INTERRUPTION FREE...
WE MUST LEARN TO STAY FOCUSED AND THRIVE THROUGH THE INTERRUPTIONS.
INTERRUPTIONS MAY AT TIMES LEAD US TO A VALUE SYSTEM SETTING PRIORITIES?
THE MAIN THING IS TO KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING!
BY THE WAY WHAT IS THE MAIN THING?
Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall
take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:33 (MSG) Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about
missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
34 "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what
may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when
the time comes.
STILL ANOTHER STUDY OF LEADERS FOUND THAT LEADERSHIP IS EXPOSED TO
INTERRUPTIONS --- THEY HAVE TO SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE...
This study revealed the fact that leader averaged being interrupted 4 times and hour.
The average interruption was 2 minutes and 11 seconds...
55% of the people returned to normal activity after the interruption...
GOD IS LOVE... LOVE UNDERSTANDS INTERRUPTIONS ARE MINISTRY AND LIFE!
JESUS ILLUSTRATES TO US HOW TO HANDLE INTERRUPTIONS AS A GIFT OF GIVING.
JESUS KNEW INTERRUPTIONS...

JAIRUS' DAUGHTER WAS SICK AND DYING... COME --- COME QUICK...
A WOMAN HAS BEEN SICK 12 YEARS --- TOUCHES HIS HEM AND WAS HEALED...
This delayed the HEALER?
NOW THE NEWS COMES --- YOUR DAUGHTER IS DEAD? DO NOT BOTHER JESUS...
THE DELAY OR INTERRUPTION WAS GOD ---
MINISTRY INTERRUPTED JESUS --- LAZARUS IS SICK...
NO LAZARUS HAS BEEN DEAD 4 DAYS --- HE STINKS ---
Jesus never argued with the devil or the people:
LAZARUS COME FORTH...
SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN TO COME TO ME...
JESUS NEVER ALLOWED THE INTERRUPTION TO UP SET HIM.
JESUS WAS TEACHING A HOUSE FULL OF PEOPLE, AND DUST STARTED FALLING FROM
THE CEILING --- THE INTERRUPTION WAS 4 MEN CARRYING A SICK FRIEND...
CONCLUSION: GOD USES INTERRUPTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PLANS...
In Lexington Kentucky a jet roared down the run way, the wrong run way and many died
that day. One man was late and missed the plane. His life was saved.
The year 1942, One Saturday night on Thanksgiving weekend a Doctor was enjoy a meal at
COCONUT GROVE. The doctor received a call in the MELODY LOUNGE, a basement was so
crowded. Doctor VINCENT SENNA was called to deliver a baby in distress. SENNA grumbled
and complained all the way to the hospital. Later that evening COCONUT GROVE burst into
flames --- 490 people died in the smoke and flames. THE INTERRUPTION SAVED THE
DOCTOR'S LIFE?
JESUS MADE PEOPLE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE INTERRUPTIONS.
INTERRUPTIONS NEVER HINDERED HIS MINISTRY THEY MADE HIS MINISTRY.
LOVE UNDERSTANDS AND TRUST THE UNSEEN HANDS, THIS TOO SHALL PASS...
