Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both
thou and thy seed may live:
A MAN WAS PREPARING TO GO TO THE ELECTRIC CHAIR TO PAY HIS DEBT
FOR THE CRIMES HE HAD DONE. A Reporter asked him if he had a statement.
He turned and said: I AM WHAT AM BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT I CHOSE TO BE!
WE BECOME THE SUM TOTAL OF OF MENIAL DAILY CHOICES...
DAVID IS THE KING... HE SAW THE POOR CHOICES OF KING SAUL...
A DAVID BECAME THE GREATEST KING SUBMITTED TO THE PREACHER
AND GOD... ONE DAY DAVID MADE A CHOICE... R&R...
WHAT IS WRONG WITH MAKING MY CHOICES... I NEED TO REST AND RELAX...
I HAVE CAPABLE MEN TO TAKE MY PLACE...
2 Samuel 11:1 And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings
go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and
they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still
at Jerusalem.
ONE BAD CHOICE LEADS TO ANOTHER BAD CHOICE...
CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES...

unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
THE SERMON NATHAN PREACHED WENT SOMETHING LIKE THIS:
A very poor man own one little lamb, and it was the family pet...
A rich had 100's of sheep had company, and needed a lamb to cook.
SO THE RICH MAN KILLED THE POOR MAN'S PET LAMB AND ATE IT...
2 Samuel 12:5 And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to
Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had
no pity.
THE KING'S CHOICE TO SKIP THE BATTLE BECOMES A TOOL IN THE ENEMY'S
HAND... DAVID THOUGHT HIS DECISION TO SKIP THE BATTLE, SLEEP WITH A
WOMAN, FATHER A CHILD, HHAVE A GOOD SOLDIER KILLED --- HE THOUGHT
I AM KING AND I HAVE HIDDEN MY DECISIONS SO WELL, I GOT AWAY WITH IT...
2 Samuel 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
YOU MAKE CHOICES AND DECISIONS DAILY? HOURLY?
When will I get up? WHAT KIND OF MOOD WILL I TAKE THIS DAY?
What will I eat? How much will I eat?
What will I spend my MONEY?
WHEN WILL I SPEND MY TIME?
Who will be my friends?
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom
ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the
flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house,
we will serve the LORD.
ARE YOU MAKING BAD CHOICES? ARE YOU MAKING GOOD CHOICES...
YOU COULD MAKE THE CHOICE TO BE LOVING AND KIND?
YOU COULD MAKE THE DECISION TO CAUSE CONFLICT, COMPLAINING,
FUSSING ---
OR YOU CAN FOCUS TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO NOT MAKE THE CHOICE ---
THAT IS A CHOICE... WHAT ARE YOUR CHOICES FUELING...
WHAT IS THE CHOICE OF YOUR WORDS? BEHAVIOR? THOUGHT PATTERNS?
YOU CAN CHOOSE TO WORRY AND FRET...
YOU CAN CHOOSE TO HAVE FAITH AND TRUST GOD?
FOCUS ON YOUR VISION ---
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law,
happy is he.
YOUR FOCUS AND YOUR CHOICES WILL DETERMINE WHOSE REPORT WILL
YOU BELIEVE? CHOICE WILL DETERMINE HOW WE SEE OURSELVES...
Numbers 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at
once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up
with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants:
and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
