SPIRITUAL EROSION

This is an exciting day to be alive. We have great opportunities to LET OUR LIGHT SO SHINE...
ARISE, MY LOVE --- JESUS HAS HIS WHITE HORSE SADDLED....
INTRODUCTION:
SPIRITUAL EROSION WILL UNDERMIND THE TRUTH AND THE CHURCH.
Erosion is a slow gradual destruction. This erosion will slowly wear away the very foundations
on which Jesus has built HIS CHURCH... BEWARE OF THIS UNDERMINING OF TRUTH.
Be faithful and pray and study your Bible as never before.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh.
I. We near UNKNOWN SHORES IN THE CHURCH...
A. History quietly records some very special times that the world seems to miss.
B. 1948 was one of those times with the re-establishment of the nation of Israel, the invention
of a new type of fuel that today I will simply call "ROCKET FUEL."
The power given to the World League of Nations... (THE U.N. United Nations)
C. June, 2015 INTRODUCED A NEW STEPPING STONE in history.
The Supreme Court approved OBAMA CARE, The release of the RAINBOW COVENANT
that SHAKES THE VERY FOUNDATION of the family and our society.
The VATICAN officially recognizes the PALESTINIAN STATE... against Israel.
II. IN THE CHURCH THERE ARE THREE GREAT SIGNS THAT WILL USHER IN THE SWIFT MOVEMENT
OF THE SECOND COMING...
1. THE POURING OUT OF GOD'S SPIRIT
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons
and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
(Acts 2:17)
2. THE DAY OF OFFENCE,
To cause a person or group to feel hurt, angry or upset by something said or done.
HATE THE MESSAGE, HATE THE MESSENGER..
Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
3. THE MASSIVE EXODUS FROM THE TRUTH AND THE CHURCH...
THE FALLING AWAY.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
III. THERE IS A SPIRUTAL SLEEP THAT WILL DOMANATE THE WHOLE SOCIETY...
A. At one time we called CHINA THE SLEEPING GIANT...
Today a spirit of sleep comes over the nations and the church.
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not
warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his
blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the
house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
B. SLEEPING SAINTS PAY DEARLY.
1. SAMSON: got his hair cut while sleeping in the lap of sin. Sleeping saints.
2. SISERA: The mighty victorious general killed by JAEL --- a glass of milk and a tent stake to
the head. SLEEPING?
3. KING SAUL: The first King of Israel was caught more than once SPIRITUALLY SLEEPING.
a. David cut a piece of his garment off (His covering, Divine protection)
b. Lost Cruise of water (His essentials)
c. David picked up Saul's SWORD ( Power, word)
4. EUTYCHUS: Paul was preaching a "THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL" when a sleeping saint
fell out of the window. How many die spiritual sleeping/missing the message.
IV. WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE.
THEN THEY WORSHIP THE CREATURE MORE THAN THE CREATOR.
Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts,
to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and
worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use
into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in
themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God
in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy,
murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters,
inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without
natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit
such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
V. 21 CLEAR SIGNS THAT ARE ESTABLISHED FACTS IN TODAY'S SOCIETY AND CHURCH.
BEWARE: SIGNS OF THE TIMES ARE EVERYWHERE...
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers
of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that
are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep
into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1. PERILOUS: possibility of death, danger, hurt, bad, unpleasant,hazardous, dangerous, risky, unhealthy,
unsafe.
2. LOVE SELF:
3. COVETOUS: desire, want more than you have, lust, wish
4. BOASTERS: brag, to state too much pride in self and what you have done, to lift you up and
thus put others down, to be puffed up, demand attention.
5. PROUD: very happy and pleased with self, attitude that you are more important and better than...
excessive self esteem, superior
6. BLASPHEMERS: to show a lack of respect for others and God, irreverence,
7. DISOBEDIENT TO AUTHORITY: (parents) to fail to obey rules and authority, mock, rebel...
8. UNTHANKFUL: not grateful, demanding, entitlement,owe me
9. UNHOLY: no respect for God or religion, working together for a bad purpose, bad, to show disregard
for what is holy.
10. WITHOUT NATURUAL AFFECTION: To make choices that are against the laws of nature, to love
the things that not based on a sense of right or wrong.
11. TRUCEBREAKER: to lie, to hide the truth, untrue, false, not the whole truth, to not keep
your word, to break agreements, to fight, to oppose, to be disagreeable.
12. FALSE ACCUSERS: To blame others falsely, to say destructive and harmful ideas.
13. INCONTINENT: not in SELF-CONTROL, lacking self-restraint, unable or unwilling to accept discipline.
14. FIERCE: aggressive, very violent, angry, willing to fuss, fight and argue, to show strong emotions,
desire to kill or destroy, uncontrolled vexation...
15. DESPISE THOSE THAT ARE GOOD: There was a day when our hero were ZORRO, LONE RANGER,
those that helped the law. Today our hero show how stupid and out of touch the preachers and law
enforcement officers really are?
16. TRAITORS: a person that is not faithful, not loyal, prone to betray, not support, no help, treason,
back stabber, double crosser
17. HEADY: To love power, to get excited or dizzy with power, intoxicate,
18. HIGHMINDED: to think in elevated terms, selfish
19. TO LOVE PLEASURE AND HAPPINESS MORE THAN LOVE GOD'S WAYS:
Motivation to enjoyment and satisfaction, to desire good feelings, desire to the flesh or carnal
amusement, to seek entertainment,
20. HAVE A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENYING THE POWER:
Religious without personal relationship... belly as a god, no prayer life or Bible study but
love to talk about it...
21. EVERLEARNING, BUT AVOID THE TRUTH...
We are learning more and more about less and less until finally we know everything about nothing.
CONCLUSION: SPIRITUAL EROSION WILL UNDERMIND THE TRUTH AND THE CHURCH.

Keep your lamp full with the oil of the Holy Spirit and your globe clean.
