LET US COME TO THE CONCLUSION
PRAISE GOD NO MATTER WHAT...

I. THE MAIN THING IS TO KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING!
COME, LET US LEARN FROM A MAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART...
TEXT:
Psalm 107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works
to the children of men!
A. THERE IS ONE WORD THE SAME IN EVERY LANGUAGE: HALLELUJAH.
B. THERE ARE TEN PSALMS THAT BEGIN WITH PRAISE THE LORD...
106, 111,112, 113, 135, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150...
PRAISE YE JEHOVAH.
Psalm 106:1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his
mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 111:1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly
of the upright, and in the congregation
Psalm 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth
greatly in his commandments.
II. LIFE HAS A PLAN AND PURPOSE...
YOU HAVE A VALUE SYSTEM AND YOU DEFINE WHAT IS YOUR PRIORITIES.
WHY ARE WE HERE ON EARTH? CARNAL--- FLESH? SPIRITUAL --- ETERNAL?
A. SOLOMON WAS A VERY SMART MAN --- HE CLEARLY DEFINES FOR US THE
BOTTOM LINE...
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his
commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into
judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
B. David is wrapping up his lessons to his sons, his family and to the nation of Israel.
In 6 verses DAVID'S CONCLUSION brings 13 THE CALL TO PRAISE...
Psalm 150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament
of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
III. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE MOTTO --- PRAISE THE LORD ANYHOW!
A. BLESSED IS THE PERSON THAT LEARNS THE VALUE OF EVERYDAY PRAISING GOD.
Psalm 116:17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
B. The WORD IS WORKING IN MIGHTILY IN ME,
NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES, WHAT I FEEL OR SEE,
THE WORD IS WORKING MIGHTILY IN ME.
C. THE MOTTO OF PRAISE THE LORD ANYHOW --- urges us to praise God
IN SPITE OF:
1. How we feel?
2. What we see?
3. No matter what our government and the world systems MORAL DECAY?
4. In seasons of hope or even in systems of HOPELESSNESS and DESPAIR?
IV. ONE OF THE GREATEST NEW TESTAMENT PREACHERS AND WRITERS DECLARES
NEAR THE SAME MESSAGE:
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God.
Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ;
V. DO WE WANT THE ROCKS TO CRY OUT PRAISE FOR US?
MASTER REBUKE YOUR DISCIPLES TO BE QUIET?
A. If Jesus could open blinded eyes, deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak ---
could he not make the ROCKS TO SING OUT PRAISE?
Luke 19:35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and
they set Jesus thereon. 36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude
of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the
highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy
disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace,
the stones would immediately cry out. 41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
B. I think ROCKS could testify a beautiful lesson. They could MAGINFY the creator.
They could speak of the MEMORIAL STONES...
The EBENEZERS testify God has helped us...
C. The church should arise and say: NO ROCK WILL CRY OUT FOR ME...
I WILL PRAISE GOD ANYHOW!
VI. WE OFTEN SEARCH FOR THE WILL OF GOD!
HIS WILL IS CLEAR:
DO WE KNOW TODAY THAT PRAISING GOD IS HIS WILL FOR US?
A. TRY PRAISE! PRAISE MIGHT BE A TURN AROUND TOOL...
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ
Jesus concerning you.
B. Teach us David, HOW DO WE BECOME A FRIEND OF GOD?
Psalm 146:2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have
any being.
VII. IS IT EASY TO FORGET ABOUT THE BENEFITS ---
ARE WE SO BUSY WE FORGET ETERNITY?
GOD IS WORTHY AND DESERVES OUR PRAISE? (38-0?)
A. DAVID WAS NOT TIMID ABOUT PRAISE:
Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
B. DO NOT FORGET GOD INHABITS PRAYER...
VIII. SOMETIMES THE SAFEST --- MOST WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES COME IN PAIN,
DARKNESS? PRAISE FINDS GOD WHERE EVER YOU ARE?
A. Daniel found a good night's sleep in THE LIONS' DEN... The king did not sleep?
B. Thankfulness may not be found at BILLIONAIRES TABLES?
C. WILL WE LEARN TO FIND GOD IN EVERY STORM? TRIAL? HARDSHIP?
THE ROAD TO JOY MIGHT SIMPLY BE FOUND IN PRAISE?
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to his purpose.
IX. THE WORLD FEELS ENTITLEMENT --- I DESERVE BETTER...
THE WORLD --- THE GOVERNMENT OWES ME...
We tend to find fault, grip, complain, and all the DARK CORNERS as we see how blessed others are?
WHAT ABOUT US... COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS ---
A PRAISE CAN FLOW OFF THE LIPS IN THE HOSPITAL OR THE FUNERAL HOME.
CONCLUSION:
IT TAKES FAITH TO PRAISE GOD FROM THE LIONS' DEN, THE FIERY FURNACE, ---
FAITH ALWAYS BRINGS PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING...
FAITH WILL BRING JOY AND PRAISE.
HAVE WE FORGOTTEN TO ENJOY LIFE?
Has menial daily chores SMOTHERED our JOY and PRAISE?
It is easy to forget to PRAISE GOD in the storms and the pain.
It is easy to not PRAISE GOD and forget there are things to LAUGH ABOUT.
How easy is it to FORGET TO PRAY, FORGET TO BELIEVE YOUR BIBLE, FORGET TO
RAISE YOUR VOICE AND HANDS IN PRAISE...
DO YOU EVER THINK THAT THE ANGELS CARRY ALL OUR PRAYER REQUEST
TO THE THRONE ROOM OF GOD? THEIR BASKETS ARE SO HEAVY AS PEOPLE TELL
GOD WHAT THEY WANT...
I PONER HOW MANY BASKETS OF PRAISE DO THE ANGELS CARRY TO GOD EACH DAY?
