I. GOD HAS AN EVALUATION SYSTEM...
HIS SCALES ARE FAITHFUL AND TRUE.
A. THE PARTY IS ON... NO CORRECTION TO LIFE STYLE? THE SCALES...
YOU HAVE ONE MORE NIGHT
Daniel 5:24 Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.

B. EXAMINE SELF...CORRECT THE PROBLEM...
2 Cor. 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not
your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
II. BYPASS THE WAITING ROOM?
Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
[24] And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
A. We lived in Virginia and had wonderful neighbors.
One day Linda was visiting Doris as our son played with their son.
Doris started crying and told Linda she was greatly concerned.
As they talked Doris shared with Linda, her breast was as hard as a rock.
Linda begged Doris to go to the door tomorrow.
Sometime later Doris went to a doctor... IT WAS TOO LATE...
There was mastectomy but the cancer was too far gone.
Doris was faced death in a short time.
B. You know, I have always had a desire to have a doctor as a friend.
I could just call and with no appointment have the doctor give me samples of what ever
medicine I needed and I would get better immediately.
Wow, would that be nice to BYPASS THE WAITING ROOM.
Let me tell you about of friend of mine that achieved my dream.
I would visit my friend, she had a problem, she would call the doctor friend and with
out any examine or anything the person when and picked up the medicine for free.
For years my friend BYPASSED THE WAITING ROOM and would laugh at us "poor"
folk... THEY HAD A FRIEND!
The person developed a SIMPLE HEALTH PROBLEM, make the call and tell the
doctor and free samples awaited...
The problem PERSISTED, the doctor friend took care of it.
After time and again getting the FREE FIX the doctor said: MAYBE I BETTER
CHECK OUT THIS PROBLEM?
After several years of this health problem, the DOCTOR DEMANDED TO SEE THE
PROBLEM... AFTER AN APPOINTMENT, THE PERSON FOUND OUT WHAT THEY
TOLD THE DOCTOR WAS A MINOR PROBLEM, THE PROBLEM WAS A SERIOUS
CANCER. There was immediate surgery, but the CANCER HAD GROWN and
death was soon.
THE TWO FRIENDS BYPASSED THE WAITING ROOM AT A GREAT EXPENSE.
The years of not having a medical examine was very EXPENSIVE.
C.DO YOU SEE HOW THIS CAN BE APPLIED SPIRITUALLY?
III. MANY HAVE THE ATTITUDE, WHAT I DO NOT KNOW CAN NOT HURT ME....
Psalm 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
A. FOR WHAT?
There was this man that worked in a massive plant of over 1,000 employees.
He made $60,000.00 a year.
He worked with COPPER WIRING. He would have an excess of wiring.
He would hide the wire, and when it accumulated ...
He would take the wire in the rest room and roll it around and around his body and pull
his clothes of the wire. SMART?
HE MADE BETWEEN $40 and $100.00 a pop.
One day after rolling of bundle of copper wire around his legs and body...
He went to lunch...
A BOSS CALLED HIM ASIDE IN THE PARKING LOT...
FOR $80 THE MAN LOST HIS JOB MAKING $60,000 A YEAR?
B. Linda says: DON'T CHECK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE OR YOUR SUGAR...
If you know it is high ... YOU WILL WORRY...
C. THIS DONUT WILL NOT HURT?
I can continually break this just a little and it will not hurt me...
IV. WE RECEIVE REPORT CARDS, PROGRESS REPORTS ON A REGULAR BASIS...
MIDTERMS ARE PART OF THE PROCESS...
1 Cor. 11: 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink
of that cup.
A. When I taught school we gave report cards every 6 weeks.
Later the PROGRESS REPORT WERE TAKEN TO 9 WEEKS...
This saved 2 grading periods a year...
B. LOWER EXPECTATIONS?
STANDARDS CHANGE:
A= 100 to 95 A=100 to 90
B= 94 to 88 B= 90 to 80 PASS /// FAIL no grade?
C= 87 to 76 C= 79 to 70
D=75 to 70 D= 69 to 60
F= 69 and below F= 59 and below
V. CRAM THE NIGHT BEFORE THE TEST VS DO YOUR LESSONS AND BE PREPARED
THEN REST WELL THE NIGHT BEFORE THE TEST...
A. I have a theory I call the TERM PAPER THEORY:
We have known the whole semester the paper is due on DATE... ???
So we wait until the last day to start writing the paper.
B. We know when the Mid-term test and the FINALS will be, so we stay up all night CRAMMING...
It would be better to prepare daily for the test.
VI. THE FIRE IS COMING? I GOT AWAY WITH IT... ???
ONE WHO TROUBLES? THERE ARE CLEAR COMMANDS TO FOLLOW
A. There is a grave in JERUSALEM where people bring a rock and lay it on HIS GRAVE...
OSKAR SCHINDLER... A GERMAN MAN
The man was allowed to be buried in a JEWISH GRAVEYARD...
ON HIS GRAVE SMALL ROCKS ARE LAID IN APPRECIATE OF WHAT
OSCAR SCHINDLER DID IN GERMANY...
B. There is a place in Israel today where there is a GRAVE OF A FAMOUS PERSON,
As people walk by they throw rocks on a grave...
YOU KNOW THE MAN: ACHAN...
ACHAN NEVER DREAMED HE WOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE...
C. ACHAN MEANS: ONE YOU CAUSES TROUBLE...
D. 36 MEN DIE A NEEDLESS DEATH...
36 FAMILIES WILL NOT KNOW THEIR DAD... WHY?

F. 36 MEN DIE BECAUSE OF ONE MAN FOCUSED ON HIMSELF...

G. JOSHUA 7:25 WHY HAVE YOU TROUBLED US ACHAN?
A VICTORY TURNED INTO DEFEAT... WHEN A MAN DOES NOT HOLD HIMSELF ACCOUNTABLE.
VII. YOU CAN NEVER EXCUSE SELF EXAMINATION...
THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
1. DISCIPLINE BY OTHERS
2. SELF DISCIPLINE
THE GOAL OF ANY MATURE PERSON IS SELF ACCOUNTABILITY.
Matthew 25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou
art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
[25] And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
A. WE MAY FEAR AND DREAD TEST... BUT TESTING IS NEEDED IN OUR LIFE.
B. AM I MOVING FORWARD...
PROGRESS REPORT...
C. While we know we need a PHYSICAL periodically ...
The doctor will poke, prod and screen us...
D. WE NEED SPIRITUAL PROGRESS REPORTS...
IF WE REFLECT AND JUDGE OUR WORDS, ACTIONS, DEEDS, ACTIONS AND REACTIONS...
E. We need to HONESTLY and FREQUENTLY CONFRONT AND CHALLENGE OURSELVES TO
EVALUATE AND CORRECT OUR WORDS AND THOUGHT PATTERNS AND CHALLENGE
OUR HEARTS TO DO BETTER...
F. The enemy of BEST is good... We get good and never progress.
We must come to the ALTAR and EXAMINE OUR SELF OWN SELF...
VIII. GOD LOOKS ON THE INSIDE... GOD'S EVALUATION SYSTEM IS DIFFERENT THAN MAN'S...
1 Samuel 16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely
the Lord's anointed is before him.
[7] But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature;
because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward
appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
IX. THERE IS COMING A FINAL TEST...
CRAM VS STUDY... BE READY...
1 Cor. 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
[12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
[13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed
by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
[14] If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1 Cor. 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the
crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
KEEP YOUR HEART...
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

CONCLUSION: Which is better? Let the judgment of God come over you?
Or EVALUATE YOURSELF AND CORRECT... YOU CAN NEVER BYPASS THE WAITING
ROOM WITHOUR PAYING THROUGH YOUR NOSE.

Matthew 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and therefore rememberest that your
