#8~ Rev.20:1-6 THE PROMISED KINGDOM 8-10-13
Last time I talked about the "white throne judgment" of the lost found in Rev, 20:11-15, at that time I intended for that message to be the last of our study to do "Prophetic events that are still to come" but I was not at peace with that decision, so today Lord be willing, I want to talk for a little while about the KINGDOM REIGN of KING JESUS, and probably next time as well, as there's much to be said about that subject.
~ Let me point out that the Kingdom reign of Jesus is before the "white throne judgment".
~ if the rapture were to take place today, that would begin the 7 years of tribulation on earth, this will be the time that "the judgment seat of Christ" will also take place, in other words while the tribulation is under way for 7 years on the earth we, the church saints will be judged for our stewardship as we'll be with the Lord.
At the judgment seat of Christ everything that is wrong will have to be corrected. All unconfessed sin will be dealt with at that time. -- That's why we need to confess our sins regularly.
Rewards will be given out at that time, and He will cleanse the church with the Word.
>Eph. 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

~ Near the end of the 7 year tribulation, Jesus returns the 2nd time in Rev.19: at what we know as "the battle of Armageddon," there He destroys the armies of the world that will be gathered to make war with Him, and with their destruction comes the end of the 7 years of tribulation.

~ With the tribulation then over, next will come the time for the setting up of His Kingdom reign that is to last for 1000 years on this earth.

~ Let us be sure we understand that the "white throne judgment of the lost" is AFTER THE KINGDOM REIGN OF CHRIST"

~ LISTEN, after the Millennial is over, and the White throne judgment is over, and this old world has been burned up with fervent heat as we're told in 2nd Pt.3: all things will be made new, according to Revelation chapters 21 and 22.
~Also Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
~ The Lord Jesus Christ Himself said in;
Matt. 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, --

~ As I thought on these things, the 1st thing that comes to my mind to do with this old world being burned up is this; "WHAT WILL GOD DO WITH THE SAVED PEOPLE THAT WILL BE ON THIS EARTH AT THE TIME IT'S BEING BURNED UP?" I think that's a good question.

~I have search high and low for an answer and found none, but never the less, the people that are saved and on earth in their natural bodies at the end of the Millennium will have to be some where when its burned up. -- The best answer that I found or heard was from my wife.
~ I mentioned it too her and she said, "God is big enough to take care of it"-- simple, plain and true.
Jesus said in;
>John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

~ We believe that He was talking about the place that He's preparing for the Church, but He said, "in my Father's house are many mansions" so by Him saying that, I'm confident that He'll have a place for these saints also until the NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH are complete. -- All that is Gods business, He'll take care of it.

~ In the Scriptures there are more prophecy concerning the Millennium than of any other period of time.
* The Kingdom was the theme of the Old Testament prophets.
Because the KINGDOM is mentioned so many times in the O.T. scriptures, the Jews in Jesus time on earth were very familiar with the subject of the Kingdom, but they didn't know when it would be.

~What was seen in Rev.11:15 by way of anticipation is here realized.
>Rev. 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

„« Luke was the writer of the gospel of Luke and also the book of Acts as well.
~Listen as I read;
>Acts 1:1-3 The former treatise (gospel of Luke) have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: -- shortly before He ascends back to the Father we read in verses --
--6-7 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
~So to hear about the Kingdom was nothing new to the Jews back in Jesus days on earth, it was well embedded into their hearts and minds.

~Listen; the gospel of Matthew is the gospel of the Kingdom, it was written primarily too the Jews, it was written by a Jew, "Matthew" to the Jews, about a Jew, "JESUS". -- Now we too are certainly suppose to read it as we learn much from it.
~Listen, the words "the kingdom of heaven" are found 33 times in Matthew, no other place in the entire Bible do we find these words in this order, there are many references to the kingdom of heaven, but not in this arrangement of words.

„« We're told in Rev.20:1-7 six times that it will last one thousand years.
~Listen as I read from 20:1-6
1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
~ Satan is bound in the Abyss; the seal indicates God's authority and guarantee that Satan will not be released until a thousand years are fulfilled.
During the "one thousand years" Satan will not be able to tempt or deceive the nations. Any temptation to sin during the Millennium will come from within those people who are born after the kingdom begins, not the original "SHEEP" but their dissidence.
* Also all of Satan's demons or fallen angels are imprisoned with him at this time.
>Isaiah 24: 21-22 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, -- 22And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: ---
* The thrones represent the administration of the messianic kingdom.
~ The church will rule at set locations appointed by the Lord out in the world during the Kingdom, -- the 12Apostles will sit on 12 thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel;-- David will administer general authority over Israel, David is vice regent under King Jesus. --- King Jesus is the HEAD of His KINGDOM GOVERMENT.

* Verse 4 includes the resurrection of the O.T. saints & N.T. Martyrs as well.
>Daniel 12: 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

>Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live; together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

N.T. Martyrs -- A martyr is a person who dies for the cause of Christ.

Vs.4-b-- and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; (Rev.13:) and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. -- Also Martyrs are found in chapter 6:
5But the rest of the dead (lost) lived not again until the thousand years were finished. (White throne judgment) -- This is the first resurrection.
6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: -- on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

~NOTICE, there are three groups of saved people that are counted as being part of the 1st resurrection.
~ The Church saints, O.T. saints and Tribulation Martyred saints are included, and counted as being part of the 1st. resurrection.
1. The church is raptured before the tribulation, we will return with the Lord at the end of the 7 year tribulation, it is then that He will defeat the armies of His enemies, at what is known as "the battle of Armageddon" -- the Church probably will witness it, but will have no part in it.
2. The Tribulation Martyred saints will be resurrected at the end of the tribulation, but before the Kingdom begins.
3. Also the O.T. saints at the end of the tribulation as well.
Rev. 20: 4 is the time of the resurrection of the O.T. saints & N.T. Martyrs.

ƒÞ LISTEN, when the tribulation has run its course, but before the Kingdom begins,
~ The judgment of individual people of all nations takes place, it's to determine who will enter into the Millennial Kingdom, this judgment is called, "THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY" Matt.25:31:---- these manage to live through the horrible tribulation.

~ There will be multitudes of people that will live through the Tribulation, some of these will be saved, the people that never heard the truth before the rapture, they'll hear and many will believe the preaching of the 144000 true Jehovah witnesses that we read about in Rev.7:, the missionaries message at that time will be the gospel of the Kingdom, ~
~ Today we preach the gospel of GRACE. -- These saved tribulation saints will aid these Jewish missionary's during the tribulation, their called "SHEEP" in Matt. 25: , and these will enter into the Millennial reign of Christ in their natural bodies, they will repopulate the earth, remember most of civilization will die in the tribulation, these "SHEEP" will have children and their children will have children all during the 1000 years, the lost that managed to live through the tribulation are called GOATS because they did not aid the Jewish missionary's, their cast into hell.

~ "THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY" of Matt.25: ~ is actually a judgment of individuals from among each nation; it's not a judgment of NATIONS generally speaking, because there are good and evil people in all nations, so remember this is a judgment of individuals from among the nations. -- There are no complete nations that are saved or lost.
~This judgment is to determine who will enter the Kingdom ~ this judgment is after Armageddon but before the Kingdom begins, this judgment will last 30 days. -- The reason we know this is in found in;--
>Dan. 12:11- -- And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ---1,290--- The last half of the 7 year tribulation begins when the antichrist stops the Jews from making their daily sacrifices, also an image of the antichrist (the abomination) will be placed in the temple, probably by the false prophet as he will point every one to the antichrist. --Rev.13:
~ Notice, 30 more days are added too the 1260 days of the last half of the tribulation. We believe this 30 days added at the end of the 1260 days will be the time that Jesus judges the nations of Matt. 25: --this is just after the Tribulation, but prior to setting up His Kingdom.

~~ After the 30 days it takes too determine who the "SHEEP" are, that is, who aided the 144000 Jewish missionary's, He will then select and determine who of HIS Church He will place in various places and positions out in the world to govern His Kingdom.
* ~ NOTICE-- The setting up of His Kingdom will take 45 more days.
>Dan. 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. ---- 1,335 days---
~ Here are 45 more days, an additional month and a half. --- This will be the time He takes to set the governmental machinery of His Kingdom in order, placing who ever He chooses of His Church over what ever He chooses.
~Here is another time that our good deeds will be considered that we may have done after we were saved before the rapture, and rewarded accordingly.
~The judgment seat of Christ, just after the rapture, will also make these deeds known. -- you have heard me say many times, that I believe what we do for Christ on this side of the rapture will have a big bearing on what He will allow us to do for Him after the rapture, in His Kingdom and beyond.

* These 45 additional days will be to put His Governmental machine in operation.
>Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

~All governments must have an orderly rank structure and arrangement to operate smoothly.
~And let me remind us right here, that only the members of His Church, Christ Wife, by this time, will be allowed these governing positions out in the world during His Kingdom reign, HE will be King of the whole world.

~ The church dose not rule and reign over Israel, we'll say more about that later.
~ So, 30 days after the Tribulation is to judge individuals of the nations, --- then 45 more days to put His Government in order. -- 75 more days' altogether.

~We've already pointed out much to do with His Kingdom reign but there's much more. -- Listen next time as we talk some more about His Kingdom rule and reign.
