# 9- ANGELS- pt. 5 Bible Doctrine 9-8-12
Today we'll continue with our study of Bible Doctrine, and talk some more about ANGELS.
Angels are spirits and can't be seen, if they were seen, there would be people that would worship the angels. -- Mankind from all over the world is prone to getting all tied up in idolatry, and many would worship angels if they could be seen, and the reason that angels no longer bring messages from God to men is simply because we now have God complete Word.
* The devil, the commander in chief of the fallen angels knows he can't damn our soul because we're saved; we're sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption, but he still wants to hinder us in ever way he can, casting stumbling blocks before us trying to trip us up, he wants to cause us to have a bad testimony so we can't be affective soul winners. We are in warfare and the battle is being fought along spiritual lines.

Eph. 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles * of the devil. --- (plural--cunning devices & deceits, Satan carefully devises schemes and tactics against believers. -- His objective is to substitute something else and something different for the grace and truth of Christ. This is why there are so many perversions of the bible, what is wrong with the one we have? Millions have been saved by its truths, if the Lord doesn't come soon; what we know as Gods word will be a thing of the past because the new ones are always leaving just a little more out, but we can rest assured that "His word shall not pass away".

>> 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
>> Principalities-- refer to the higher-ranking hierarchy of demonic authority.
>> Powers -- there are powerful people in this world in leadership positions that are influenced and empowered by Satan. We know that a truly born again person would never encourage the homosexual movement; therefore it has to be the work of Satan.
>> Rulers of the darkness of this world -- certain angels are given responsibility and authority over certain geographical locations in the world, including cities, states and even entire nations. It's evident that Satan has his demon or demons busy in the government of our country as well.
>> It's likely that the demonic rank structure applies here, ascending in rank all the way up through cities, counties, states even to entire nations and larger areas.

>> 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world * hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, --- "world" "an age, era" -- a period of indefinite duration, we are in the age of the Church and have been since Pentecost, the next "AGE" is the Kingdom age, it can not start until KING JESUS is on the scene.

> Satan at this present time is the god of this world; (age) his army is made up of the fallen angels, they are rulers of the darkness of this world, - principalities- powers,

* God also has the same structure in His good angels, and twice as many at that.
> We know that Michael is the guardian angel of Israel.
>> Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, ** such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: --

* If the angels, both good and bad, were not organized there would be chaos without a doubt as any government would be.
* Even in the millennial kingdom as Jesus rules there will be an organized government.
>> Isaiah 9:6--7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

>> Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. --- He is Lord of lords and King of kings.

* I believe David will be Vice Regent at that time, over Israel, not the Church.
Jeremiah 30:9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, -- and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
* Listen dear heart, here is the proof text that David will be Vice Regent over Israel.
It plainly says in Jer. 30:9 -- and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
So this can not be the Lord Jesus because Jesus has already been raised from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God.-
>>1st peter 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

>> Ezekiel 37: 24-25 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
* Notice the Lord here says "they (Israel) shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. -- David is too see that Israel obeys the Lords judgments and statutes.
> 25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
>> God will raise up David to reign over Israel, not the world or the Church, either in the Millennium or in the eternal Kingdom, probably both. --- remember we're told that the government will be on Jesus shoulders in Isaiah 9: so, what is a government made of?
there must be a King over it all and that of coarse is King Jesus, and then there will be people under His rule, I am confident that David will rule the people of Israel, and the 12 Apostles will rule over the 12 tribes.
>>> Jesus said to the 12 -- Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
* Notice the structure of His Government.

* People of the Church will be appointed certain districts and territories to reign over some place out in different parts of the world; I believe that what we do for Him now on this side of the rapture will have a big bearing on what He allows us to do for Him then, no one will rule over His Wife the Church, only the Lord Himself of coarse.
>> Revelation 5: 9 -10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (redeemed from all over the world) 10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
-- Not in or over Israel, but we shall reign on the earth.

* As with anything else, to operate effectively governments must be organized, and apparently this is the case with the angels as well, there are those that are planning and leading and others executing orders.

>> Colossians 1:16 -17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
>> According to this Scripture there is both a visible and established government on earth consisting of thrones, dominions, principalities and powers, "human government" and also that there is an invisible but just as established government in Heaven, consisting of the same types of administration, and lets not forget that Satan also has a government, he has CHIEF demons over the affairs of different nations.

In Daniel chapter 10: we will find that as Gabriel was in route to give Daniel the answer to his prayer that he (Gambrel) was hinder for 3 weeks by the chief prince, (demon) over that territory, you'll also find that Michael came to assist Gabriel in this battle, we know this is Gabriel, for he has already talked to Daniel in chapters 8: & 9:
* Listen as I read from Daniel 10: 8-21
8Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13But the prince (demon) of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, (first mention of Michael) one of the chief princes, (God has many chief princes, (ruler) Michael only is called the ARCHANGEL- Jude vs.9) came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
14Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. 15And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. 16And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. 17For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
18Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, 19And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
20Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. 21But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

So there is without any doubt a rank structure among all angels, good as well as the bad, God has organized the elect angels and Satan has organized the evil angels.
