# 6-ANGELS- 2~ BIBLE DOCTRINE 8-11-12
Today we'll continue with our study of Bible doctrine, last time we begin talking about "angels" we read that Lucifer was the most beautiful and wisest creature that God had created, he was an angel, (Isa.14:-Ezk.28:) but because he became prideful, he wanted to be worshipped as God, he led 1/3 of the angels in heaven in rebellion against God as he lied to them that he was going to over throw God Almighty, the very God that created him, as I said last time, how can any thing created become greater than it's Creator.
So Lucifer and the angels that believed his lies were cast out of heaven down to the earth, they were on the earth before God ever created man or any other creature.
> Jesus said in Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
This tells us that God the Son witnessed Satan being cast out, He was there at that time, only God knows how long it was after that, until God created man.
>But the Son of God came to this earth at the appointed time, not just any old time but at the right time.
Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
>He came to earth as Jesus the Son of Man, in order to take a body like sinful man, God can not die, but Jesus in a body like man could.
Jesus the God man died on the cross in sinful mans place, every persons sin debt has now been paid, but most will not receive His payment, so these will eternally pay their own sin debt, a debt that will never be paid off.

* Bare with me, as we're headed too our thought on "angels".
> Satan knew when God created Adam, he most likely heard God tell Adam that he could partake of every tree in the garden except one, "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil".
Genesis 2:7-9 As I read these next verses keep in mind that Eve had not yet been made.-- And the LORD God formed man notice Adam was formed, we'll see that Eve was made) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. -- God did not do so with any other of His creatures. ---
8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

15- And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16And the LORD God commanded the man, 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. --Notice Eve did not hear God say this, she had not yet been made, so Adam had to tell Eve what God commanded him, perhaps it didn't seem quit as important coming from Adam as it did when it came from God to Adam, perhaps Adam didn't explain the seriousness of this command as well as he should have, you and I can think on this matter for a time, food for thought.

18And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make ** him an help meet for him. -- I will MAKE him a help meet--not FORM-
(I will make a fitting mate for him) -- And we men thank God He did.

21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; --
>Notice, GOD actually opened Adam side.

22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Gen.3:1-5 Now the serpent was more subtil *(cunning) than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. (Notice, all else that had life was MADE, not FORMED) And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? -- (Satan was causing Eve to doubt what God had said.)-- 2--3. Instead of turning away, the woman talks with the serpent, revealing that she didn't really realize that the serpent was her enemy, she didn't know what an enemy was.

2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. --- Eve misquotes what God said, again, maybe Adam didn't tell Eve word for word what God had told him back before Eve was made. She say's, lest ye die, whereas God had said, thou shalt surely die (2:17).
God had said, "thou shalt not," and she said, Ye shall not. And she adds, neither shall ye touch it.

4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (Satan is saying that God lied.)
5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

> Eve must now choose between God and the serpent, the serpent indicates that the path to knowledge is to bypass God's word.

>Here in verse 6 is the three avenue of sin;
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, *(flesh) and that it was pleasant to the eyes, *(lust of the eyes) and a tree to be desired to make one wise, *(pride of life) she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. -- What I don't understand is why didn't Adam stop her, it say's he was there with her.

* And now let's go to verse's 14- 15.
14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15And I will put enmity *(hostility- hatred) between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Satan hates God and every thing that God loves, that takes in you and me, from that time on Satan and his demons were looking for this promised Savior that was coming to "bruise his head", let me read you this as we did last time,
>Rev.12:1-5 1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: (ISRAEL)
2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, (Satan) having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. -- (revived Roman Empire that he's directing)
4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, (1/3 of the angels) and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, (crucifixion) and to his throne.

>Satan and his angels had sealed their doom when this happened.

Matthew 25:41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: --not hell, everlasting fire.

So the devil has his angels, he has 1/3, that means that God still has 2/3's of the angels that never sinned and are still serving Him as He so directs.

>What these fallen angels did is not agreed on by all.

Genesis 6:1-2 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Some understand "the sons of God" of Genesis 6:2 to refer to the sons of the godly line of Seth and the "daughters of men" to refer to the ungodly line of the Cainites.
> Others, in keeping with the use of "sons of God" in Job, believe the term refers to fallen angels who mated with the daughters of men to produce an extremely wicked and powerful progeny that led to the extreme wickedness of Noah's day. Most who hold to this latter view find further support in 2 Peter 2:4-6 and Jude 6-7.

There was a part of the Devils angels that commented such a great sin that they are at this time held in a certain compartment in hell referred to as "TARTARUS".- THIS IS A SPECIAL PLACE FOR THESE PARTICULAR FALLEN ANGELS.

2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell,*( Tartaroás, (the deepest abyss of Hades) and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
>This is the only place in the Bible that "HELL" means, (TARTAROAS). A SPECIAL AND SEPARATE SECTION IN THE BOTTEMLESS PIT.

Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.--telling about the same thing.

Gen.6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

>Who are the "son's of God"?

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God (angels) came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

> Jesus said in;
Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

>But these fallen angels are not "the angels of God in Heaven"

>The Scriptures clearly indicate two groups of fallen angels, one consisting of those who have some freedom to carry out Satan's plans.
>And the other who are confined. Of those who are confined, some are temporarily so, while others are permanently confined in Tartarus. (2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 6).
> Those temporarily confined are in the abyss, but their waiting to be used in the Tribulation.

Rev. 9:1-5 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven (angel) unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3And there came out of the smoke locusts *(demons) upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
These demon monstrosities will sting the earth dwellers with their tails for five solid moths and men will desire to die and can't.

So this group of Satan's angels will be loosed from the pit and torment the earth dwellers at the appointed time.

And the fallen angels that committed such a gross sinful act are at this time still in the pit (Tartaroas) these will never be loosed, these are awaiting judgment their being held in chains, did they cohabit with the daughters of man?
