YOU GOT TO BELIEVE THAT GOD CAN WORK IN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES
EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE FOR HIM WHO BELIEVES
If we can believe, all things are possible to us! This is not a frivolous statement (Unworthy of serious attention; trivial; Inappropriately silly); no this is a promise from God. When we exercise our faith, we can receive and believe every promise of God. Belief is the one and only requirement. Our Beliefs are the principles that shape what we believe to be true, it shapes our opinions, our convictions, our faith, our ability to have confidence in a person or a person's abilities. Belief always deals with concepts of the mind and depends upon factual data to support it. Faith does not depend upon factual data to support it. Faith springs from an inner knowledge of the spirit and soul and it pertains to those things unseen. Beliefs, however, always depend upon an acceptance by the mind of specific tangible facts, and beliefs are always subject to change should new facts arrive. Faith does not change even in its essence and its true nature our Faith serves as the most important ingredient; the crucial element in our walk with Christ and it is one of growth and ever increasing strength. The human spirit has an inner ability to discern and assess those things which are unseen (Quote Hebrews 11:1), our faith springs up as a result of this inner ability to believe God even though we may not have even seen it yet our faith has substance and evidence from God that say's "I will trust you Lord no matter what." (Hebrews 11:6 KJV say's, " But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." The Message Bible say's," It's impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that He cares enough to respond to those who seek him."
By faith - As a result of God speaking and these individuals acting on it or doing what He promised look what happened.
As I look at Hebrews Chapter 11 and I'm only reading a few verses for the sake of time. It say's in verses 3 - 10
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (The Godhead worked together in Creation)
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Therefore our Faith grows and develops as our spirits develop in its understanding or apprehending the Word of God. Your spirit is capable of perceiving and translating into direct faith; to your inner ability to perceive what God has spoken. So Faith, by the same token, can be nourished and developed. But in a very great sense faith goes far beyond our ability to comprehend in our natural minds. Faith is the driving power behind all that moves you in the direction of trusting God. Faith springs from knowing that you know, that you know, that you know, that God said it, that settles it, and I believe it. Look at your neighbor and tell them," God always responds to acts of faith and He does so in accordance with the degree of faith exercised." Now ask your neighbor, "Are you exercising your faith?" God responds to faith in such a manner that when He sees it He goes crazy.
As we look at our text in Mark 9:14-32 it tells the story of a man who brought his son to Jesus to be delivered of a demon. Now, this man must have had a measure of hope that Jesus could heal his son, because he took the trouble to bring his son to Jesus. The disciples tried unsuccessfully to
cast the demon out of the boy. No doubt, the unsuccessful efforts of the disciples caused
the father’s faith to waver even further. When the demon in the boy saw Jesus, the demon threw the boy on the ground, causing him to foam at the mouth. The demon was making a last ditch effort to destroy what remained of the father's faith. Jesus, however, did not make the same mistake the disciples had made. The disciples tried to cast the demon out of the boy without first dealing with the unbelief of the boy's father. I believe Jesus was addressing the boy's father, not the disciples, when He said, "Oh, unbelieving generation!. . ." Mark 9:19.
The boy had been exhibiting signs of demon possession for years. The father had seen his son hurl himself into fire and water as the demon sought to destroy the boy. The father had to rescue his son from drowning, fighting the demonic power that sought to drive the boy to suicide.
Undoubtedly, when the convulsions first began, the father must have prayed earnestly to God to heal his son. However, as time passed and the convulsions continued, the father probably did what many of us do today: he adopted a theology that says that God must have sent the sickness.
But when the father heard that a man from Nazareth was preaching about the kingdom of God, healing the sick, and casting out demons, his hope was revived. However, the father's unbelief had placed limitations on what God could do for his son, and so the first attempt at deliverance was unsuccessful. The man had come to Jesus because he had heard of the mighty works Jesus did everywhere He went: blind eyes were opened, deaf ears could hear, the mute could speak, withered limbs were made whole, lepers were cleansed, and yes, demons were cast out. This man knew very well that Jesus had done all these things for others, but when it came to his own situation he had trouble believing that Jesus could do it for him, in his circumstance.
Although the boy was in the midst of a serious convulsion, Jesus first turned to the
boy's father. He first had to identify and remove the limitations the father's unbelief
had caused. Tension must have filled the air as Jesus calmly questioned the man, while his
son writhed on the ground in the midst of a violent convulsion. Out of his despair, the
father spoke and his words defined the problem clearly: "If thou CAN do anything,
have compassion on us, and help us." Mark 9:22 NIV.
This father was obviously confused. He thought Jesus had to decide or agree to help in this situation. He knew Jesus could heal, but he was not sure if He would do it this time. Just like many Christians today, He was waiting for God to decide to act on his behalf, while God was waiting for him to get his faith in line with the Word!
Jesus placed the responsibility squarely where it belonged:He said , "If You can! Everything is
possible for him who believes." Jesus was saying to the man, "I am willing. But My willingness won't heal your son unless YOU BELIEVE that I am able to work in YOUR circumstance."
There are a lot of sick people who attend healing services thinking, "It can't hurt," but without any real faith that healing works or if it does, not believing it can work for them? They would like to believe in healing or they would not be there, but they are basically skeptics.
The issue is not, "Is God able?" The issue is, "Will He do it for me?" Religious people will admit that God can do anything, but they don't believe He will do it for them. This is a limitation that they place on God. It comes from their feelings of unworthiness, fear of failure, or their negative attitudes.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man." In other words, you and your situation are not exceptions to the Word.
The devil would like each of us to believe there is something so unique about our particular situation that the promises of God somehow do not apply to us. The devil likes to point out flaws in our lives and then tell us that we cannot claim the promises of God because of them. Many of us arrive at the place of believing that God can fulfill His promises, but in our particular case, He is not willing. This conclusion is totally unscriptural. The Word says that He is no respecter of persons: there are no exceptions
(Acts 10:34).
When you look at your difficulty sometimes it has the ability to throw you off course and make you forget about the Power of God.
When you look at your difficulty you cannot allow yourself to be surrounded by negative friends or people who do not believe in you because all they wanna see you do is fail.
God allowed the 3 HEBREW BOYS to go through the fire, but He did not allow the fire to go through them. When ever you’re persecuted, never surrender your service toward God. Tell your neighbor, "YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO BE COOL IN A HOT SITUATION."
God is the master of your Circumstances! Jesus states in John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
As we see in Gen. 37:5 that when Joseph had a dream. (Let me hear somebody say a dream.) And he related that dream to his brothers. That is when the enemy stepped in. See you can have a dream but it is when you plan to live out that dream, is when the enemy tries to destroy it. When you make up in your mind that I am going to walk in my dreams and the desires and the visions that God has giving me. That is when the enemy looks to see who he may devour. When you began to walk in what you know that God has for you that is when it seems like all hell has broken loose.
See Joseph brothers already disliked him because he was his father’s favorite. His father made him a coat of many colors. But it was not until Joseph had a dream is when the enemy thought that now I got to destroy him. If he began to walk in the dreams and the Visions that God has giving him he will be a success. See it is not until you make up in your mind that you are going to live out your dream that is when the enemy comes in like a flood. But I am here today on divine assignment to tell you to watch out for those dream killers. Don’t let people stop you from dreaming. His brothers said here comes that dreamer. People that you think you can trust with your visions, people you think you can trust with your dreams. And hope they will be there to support you. The devil will use them to destroy your dreams. Does any one here know what I am talking about? Everything could be find in your relationship with someone a brother or a sister or a close relative, and sometimes even your own spouse. Than all of a sudden they just turn left. Things began to fall apart. The devil will use the ones that is close to you. The ones that you thought should support you he uses the same people to distract you.So he can kill your dream, Kill your future, and kill your desire, your ambitions. But I am here to tell you today to watch out for dream killers. Watch out for ones when you say that God has called you to something and they say how you are going to do that. Watch out for the dream killer. Watch out for the one that you share your ambitions with. And they laugh in your face. Watch out for dream killers. Watch out for the ones that cannot see your vision. Watch out for the ones that do not support you. Watch out for the one, that when you say you are going back to get that degree. They say you are too old. Or you are just not smart enough. Watch out for dream killers.
Because what the enemy does he tries to stop you from progressing. If you are not doing the will of God you cannot progress on what God may have for you to do. If you are not walking in your gift and your talent. I don’t care what kind of job you have it just will not satisfy you, I don’t care what you have. If you are not `living your dreams you have faced some dream killers somewhere down the line.
The devil has killed some of us. Even though we are here today even though we are clapping are hands and praising God some of you are not living the dreams that you have, you are not walking in your calling. Some of you had dreams of starting your own business but somebody told you that you can’t. And I want to tell you watch out for those dream killers. Some of you had dreams of finishing college but some obstacles have gotten in your way. But I want to tell you to watch out for dream killers.
Some one here today God is calling you to go higher in him to go closer to him and he has called you to a higher calling, but the enemy is telling you that you are not qualified you are not anointed enough, he is telling you that you don’t want the problems that you will have to face. But I am here to tell you that I rather am with God and face problems. Than be without God and go through problems. If I am going to go through, if I going to have trials and tribulations in my life I might as well go through them with God than without God.
I don’t know about you but as long as I am walking with God he will be bring me through because he said in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
And If Jesus had already overcome the world he has already overcame my problems. I just have to do what the Lord has called me to and watch out for dream killers. I tell you to be attentive to your dreams. Because God talks to man in his dreams the Bible tells me in Job. 33:14, "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not." The Message Bible say's "God always answers, one way or another, even when people don't recognize his presence."
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
When you follow the dreams that God has giving you, when you go forth beside giving yourself a pity patty and you let no one stop your dreams than that shall keep you from the pits of hell.
Don’t let no man no women no body keep you from letting you live out the dream that God has for you. The Bible says the Lord speak to us once he speaks to us twice so we may not go down to the pit and his life from the sword. When we are sleeping when we are resting God is opening up our ears to the things that He has for us. He already told you what to do. Wake up and do what God has called you to. Stand on your dreams.
The wisest man that ever lived Solomon wrote in Eccl. 5:3 Ecclesiastes 5:3 (KJV)
"For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words." Tell your neighbor, "Stop talking about it and be about it." There is no one that is successful today that did not have a dream yesterday.
Shake somebody hand and say it all starts with a dream it all starts with a desire it all starts with a vision.
Solomon said that from dreams come business. So from business bring wealth. You want to make it? You want to have an abundant life? You want to live your dream? Walk in your dream and posses your dream.
Numbers 12:7 say's,"Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream."
God has been talking to somebody, andI have come to tell you that you are not crazy you are not insane, you are chosen by God. But you gone have to watch out for the dream Killers.
You have to understand this that God is bigger than your circumstances. If he destroys your house, you can build another one. But if he kills your dreams if he destroys your visions. He can destroy your future. And I come to encourage the saints of God on today. Do not stand by and let the enemy dictate your circumstances or destroy your dreams.
Joseph had a dream they may have threw the dreamer in a ditch but the dream stayed alive. They sold the dreamer but the dream stayed alive. They cast the dreamer into prison but the dream still lived. And as long as the dream stayed alive the dream can come true, that one day his brothers will bow down to him.
Genesis 50:20, You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
You never know what God is up to!
