# 10~SEVEN ~ BIBLE NUMBER MEANINGS 12-17-11
Today if the Lord be willing I want to point out a few things pertaining to the number seven.
It's my hope and prayer that as the people listen to these studies to do with Bible number meanings, that folks would realize that only an omniscient God could have put these numbers together as such, as I've said before, no man or any group of men could have come together and devised such a great exhibition of unshakable facts, be reminded that the Bible was written by forty or more men, over a period of almost sixteen hundred years, it was impossible for these men to even communicate among them selves, and not only do the Bible number meanings present infallible proof of God's existence, but every subject in the Bible, and there are many subjects, but none of the writers ever contradicted another, what a Book we have, and it will never ever change. So let the heathen rage and scoff all they care to, we have read the last page.
The only thing in the world that can not be changed is TRUTH, and Jesus is Truth.
John 14:6 I am the way, the TRUTH and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Seven carries the meaning of COMPLETENESS and Spiritual PERFECTION.
Seven was the most sacred number to the Hebrew people; seven is used more than all other numbers in the Word of God, other than the number ONE.
SEVEN is found 763 times, ONE is found 2371 times in our KJ Bible.
In the Book of the Revelation the number SEVEN is found throughout. There are SEVEN churches, SEVEN spirits, SEVEN stars, SEVEN seals, SEVEN trumpets, SEVEN vials, SEVEN personages, SEVEN dooms, and SEVEN new things, that's 63 SEVENS in the Revelation alone.---when we add six and three together we have NINE, NINE is the number of THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

SEVEN symbolizes Spiritual Perfection. All of life revolves around this number. The entire Word of God is founded upon the number SEVEN. It stands for the SEVENTH day of the Creation Week, and also speaks of the Millennial Rest day. (1000 year reign of Christ, the SEVENTH thousand years) It denotes COMPLETENESS or PERFECTION.

In Lev.23:15-16 the number SEVEN and the Sabbath, which was the SEVENTH day, (our Saturday) is connected with the word COMPLETE, the word COMPLETE follows after the words "SEVEN SABBATH". The day following the SEVENTH Sabbath there was something NEW that took place. Listen as I read.
Leviticus 23:15-16 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, (Sunday,1st day) from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:** (49 days) 16Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering** unto the LORD.

The word FINISHED is also connected with the number SEVEN. In Revelation 10:7 we read,
"--in the days of the voice of the SEVENTH angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be FINISHED."--- The word "finished" is connected with the word SEVENTH-angel.
"It is DONE" is another expression found in connection with the number SEVEN.
Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. It is "complete".

The Savior spoke SEVEN times from the cross, and the SEVETH time He said,"IT IS FINISHED" --complete.
* Jesus first recorded words in the gospel of Luke are found in
Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
* And His last recorded words in the gospel of John was
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
So Jesus finished, He completed, the Fathers work that He was sent to do, die on the cross and pay every mans sin debt, every person from Adam unto the last sinner in the millennium sin debt has been paid, but the sad, sad truth is that most people will reject His payment, therefore they'll be paying the sin debt them selves forever, that is one debt that no body within them selves can pay off.

The word CREATED is used SEVEN times in connection with God's creative work, [apart from Him creating man and the living creatures.] (Genesis 1:1; l: 21; 1:27 (three times); 2:3; and 2:4).
He appointed SEVEN days for the week, and most, if not all advanced nations reckon "time in that way: SEVEN days to the week.
Few ever stop to think of why there are SEVEN days in a week. The atheists and infidels never realize that Almighty God did this? -- And yet they'll also go by God's set week.

There are SEVEN notes in the musical scale. All other pitches are only variations of these seven notes, when the musician uses the eighth note he really goes back to "doe" and starts over.
(Doe ray mea and so on)-- EIGHT is the number of new begging--Man named the notes but God fixed the sounds, even as God fixed the days of the week, and man named them.

Noah took the clean beasts into the ark by SEVENS. (Genesis 7:2) SEVEN days after Noah went into the ark the flood came. (Genesis 7:9-10) Peter tells about the longsuffering of God waiting in the days of Noah.
I Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing,--
Those-SEVEN days COMPLETED Gods time of waiting, just as the 7th thousand years will complete this planets existence as it's known today, it will be burned up and then all things made new, EIGHT the number of new beginning.
2nd pet.3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.--possible from nuclear devices that every one seem to want today.

Before Aaron and his sons entered their priestly work they were consecrated SEVEN days.
They were set aside and completely dedicated to the work.
Leviticus 8:35-36 Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded. 36So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
Here is a picture of a life COMPLETELY or altogether consecrated or dedicated to the Lord for service.

On the Day of Atonement the high priest sprinkled the blood upon the mercy seat and before the mercy seat SEVEN times. (Leviticus 16:14) This is a picture of the COMPLETENESS of the redemptive work of Christ.
Hebrews 9:12 By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. ***
When Christ offered Himself that FINISHED the sacrificial offerings. They were ended. No longer must any people place sacrifices upon an altar.
All sacrifices in the O.T. were types and shadows of the Sacrifice of God, John the Baptist said in John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.--not "sins" of the world.**

When Israel took the city of Jericho God told them; to march around the city SEVEN times. Thus, on the SEVENTH day, when they marched around the city SEVEN times, they COMPLETED their marching. (Joshua 6:1-16)

There were SEVEN FEAST days of our Lord. (Pass-over, Unleavened, First-fruits, Pentecost, Atonement, Trumpets, and Tabernacle). (Leviticus 23:1-44)
There were SEVEN branches on the CANDLESTICK in the Holy Place in the Tabernacle and these pictures the COMPLETE Light of God for the souls of man.
Solomon was SEVEN years in building the Temple and kept the Feast for SEVEN days.
Job had SEVEN sons --- When his friends came to visit him they sat SEVEN days and SEVEN nights in silence, and after-ward they were required to offer a Burnt Offering of SEVEN bullock and SEVEN rams.
Naaman washed SEVEN times in the Jordan. He wondered, why couldn't he wash in a cleaner and closer stream' and the answer is' because God said to.
Some folks might wonder why they can't get to heaven some other way.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Jesus said in John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Not what some one else say's, if we get to heaven it'll be the Bible way.
SEVEN men of honest report were chosen to administer the alms of the church in Acts 6:
There were SEVEN years of plenty, and SEVEN years of famine in Egypt during the days of Joseph.
SEVEN times in the Book of Revelation blessings of the Lord are promised to His people. These are called the "BEATITUDES" of Revelation. These are found in Chapters 1:3; 14:13; 16:15; 19:9; 20:6; 22:7, 14.
There are SEVEN Dispensations, a dispensation is a period of time that God deals with man in a certain manner.--Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law, Grace, and Kingdom. .
SEVEN times "the Book of Life" is mentioned in the Bible.

Jesus said to "forgive SEVENTY times SEVEN."-- In other words, He is saying, "Keep on forgiving until you have completely forgiven.
Even the duration of Israel's great punishment was based upon this law of SEVENS. Their captivity in Babylon was for SEVENTY years, ten times seven. (Jeremiah 25:11-12;
Life operates in a cycle of SEVENS. Changes take place in the body every SEVEN years. There are SEVEN bones in the neck, SEVEN bones in the face, SEVEN bones in the ankle and SEVEN holes in the head.
Most births are the multiple of SEVENS. -- The hen sits three weeks (21 days); the pigeon two weeks, (14 days); after having laid eggs for two weeks.
Of 129 species of Mammalian the majority have a period from conception to birth of an exact number of weeks, a multiple of SEVEN.
~~Human physiology is constructed on a law of SEVENS.
~~Children are born to mothers in a certain number of weeks usually 280 days, a multiple of SEVENS.
~~Fevers and intermittent attacks of gout, ague* (fever with chills), and similar complaints have a period of operation of SEVEN, FOURTEEN, or TWENTY-ONE days known as critical days.
~~All departments of nature are marked all over with mathematics. In this realm practically everything is in SEVENS.
~~Always remember that SEVEN means COMPLETENESS or SPIRITUAL PERFECTION. When ever you come to a SEVEN in the Word of God read the meaning and the message is plain.
~~The SEVENTH time Noah's name occurs is where it is said, "Noah was a just man, and PERFECT in his generations." (Genesis 6:9)
~~Daniel interpreted the dream that Nebuchadnezzar had dreamed in Daniel 2:31-38, Daniel told him that he was the head of gold in the dream.
In the next chapter Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold to be worshipped. At that time he called together SEVEN kinds of officials to the dedication of the image,
(1) Princes, (2) governors, (3) captains, (4) judges, (5 treasurers, (6) counselors, and (7) sheriffs.
The penalty for refusing to worship that image was death by being cast into the burning fiery furnace.
THREE Hebrew children refused to worship the image and were cast into that furnace of death, and brought forth alive, this picturing the resurrection, signified by the number THREE.
That furnace was heated SEVEN times hotter than it had ever been. Here is a COMPLETE DELIVERANCE FOR GOD'S PEOPLE from the power of death. (Daniel 3:1-7)
When those THREE Hebrew children came out of the furnace of fire, or death, there was not a trace of fire upon their bodies or their clothing.
When Christ brings His people out of death there will not be a trace of death left on them.
They will be COMPLETELY delivered from its power.
