The theme this year for the Holiday Folk Fair is “Celebrate Culture Without Borders”.
The main idea of course is to celebrate what each one of us has to offer without the barriers we put up because of our differences. This is really an awesome thing to strive for! Why?? – because this is God’s desire as well.
God tells us in the Bible, in the Book of Revelation Chapter 7 verse 9: After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
This is the future of course in heaven! Celebrating Cultures Without Borders will happen, and will be forever! This is God’s will.
What do we see in this picture of heaven?
In heaven there will be multitudes of people that no one could count!
The Holiday Folk Fair is a great thing; over 50000 people from many nations of the world gather here!
And, how many of you have been to Lambeau Field??; over 73000 people gather there; and if you look closely (show 3 pictures) many nation, tribes, people and language are represented there in Lambeau Field as well, people from Sheboygan, Aushwaubenon, Kiel, Oconomowoc, St. Germain, Eau Claire, Madison, Milwaukee, and many more of course, and oh yeah, let’s not forget people from Cudahy by the Lake, eh!
I’ve been to a gathering of about one million men in Washington DC and even for only a couple of hours, it was exhilarating to be worshiping God with that many people.
But God tells us that no gathering in this world can compare to the multitudes in heaven who will be together in joy forever and ever! God wants all of us to be there!
What else do we see in this picture of heaven?
The multitude of people in heaven will come from every nation, tribe, people, and language! God is the Creator of every human being and God’s desire is that there will be no borders between all His creations.
Heaven will be multicultural!
Will you represent your nation there in heaven?
And we note that in heaven all the people will be standing before and in front of the Lamb. Together, without borders, the multitudes of people in heaven will be celebrating forever and ever before the Lamb. Who is the Lamb and why are the people celebrating? The Lamb is the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who died for all of the sins of the people there in heaven!
Together, without borders, the multitudes of people will be celebrating forever and ever because God gave them the gift of eternal joy through Jesus Christ!
Have you personally received this gift? Take note that the gift is only available while you’re still alive on earth! Don’t wait till Christmas; Receive the gift of Jesus Christ today!
And the last sentence of that picture in heaven states, The multitudes of people in heaven were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
What does that all mean? The multitude in heaven from every nation, tribe, people, and language will be pure, cleansed, and united. The people will be holding palm branches as a sign of celebrating peace forever and ever!
As you believe in Jesus Christ the Lamb of God, He will give you love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Start today! Receive Jesus Christ in your life and have the fruit of God the Holy Spirit forever and ever!
God will bring into existence an eternal kingdom where there will be no borders between Him and His people, nor borders between people from every nation, tribe, and language! And all of this will only happen because of God’s amazing love, His amazing grace through Jesus Christ! We can celebrate even now!
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound…….
