Rev. #71~20:1-3 PREPARATION FOR THE KINGDOM 9-18-10
Today we’ll continue on with Chapter 20: there’s much here to talk about, listen as I read chapter 20: 1-3 to get us hooked back up.
1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
We’re not told the name of this angel. Evidently the Holy Spirit didn’t think it necessary, but be that as it may, this angel was sent from heaven with the authority and power to cast Satan into the pit and placed this chain on him to keep him there for the entire 1000-year reign of Christ. If Satan was allowed to roam the earth as he does now there could be no peace on earth.
This happens just after the battle of Armageddon, and after the Antichrist and false prophet have been cast alive into the lake of fire, this angel already had the key to the Bottomless Pit, we believe
That he is most likely the same angel that we read about in Rev.9:1-2.
One of satan’s greatest tools is deception, he is the father of lies, Jesus said so in JN.8:44, so this powerful angel has bound him and cast him into the pit so he could not deceive people for at least this 1000 years, we’re told that in verse 3.
--- that he should deceive the nations no more—
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Isaiah 11:9 says;--- for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
And for this to take place fully and completely, Satan will be removed so that the earth may be ready for the kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of heaven can not began until the King of Heaven is here.
Every thing that Jesus says and does is TRUTH.---every thing that satan says and does is one big lie.

Let’s keep in mind that there will be millions and millions killed in the tribulation, but there will be a great multitude that will some how survived the tribulation, and many of these will be the inhabitants of the Millennial Kingdom?
Ø Listen--- just after the Lord Jesus destroys His enemies at the one sided battle of Armageddon,He will immediately set on His Throne of Glory that we’re told about in Matt. 25:31-46.
Keep in mind that His Kingdom reign has not yet begun at this time, this judgment is called “the judgment of the nations;” actually it means He is judging the individuals from among all nations, the reason for this judgment is to determine who will go into the Kingdom and repopulate the earth once again, and how He will decide this is to judge the individuals as to how they treated His brethren the Jews during the tribulation, read Matt.25:31-46 and it will make this clear.
Listen;-the time of Him sitting on the Throne of His Glory and separating the sheep from the goats will last 30 days, how do we know this,
Listen as I read from Daniel 12:9-11
And he said, “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”
LISTEN- this man is still talking to Daniel;
11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
We understand that this is talking about the tribulation, because we read in Matthew 24:21 that the Abomination of desolation will be set up in the temple as the last half of the tribulation gets under way, but, LISTEN, the last half of the 7 year tribulation last 1260 days, not 1290 days.
Rev.12: 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.=3 ½ years.= 1260=
Ø So why the extra 30 day’s ? This is when the judgment of the nations comes about, (sheep & goats) remember this Throne of His glory (matt.25:31) is just after the tribulation but before the Kingdom begins.
So the 1290 days mentioned here refer to the last three and one half years of the Tribulation Period, plus an additional thirty days to be used in judging the qualifications of those who will enter the Millennium (Mt 25:31–46).—(sheep & goats)
Listen- 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.-=-now we’re reading 1335 days=
Well here is an additional 45 more days, what’s that all about?
The 1335 days probably signifies an additional forty-five days before the actual beginning of the Millennium that may be required, for setting up the governmental machinery of the millennial period.
All new governments require a transition period; and the saints who will rule and reign with Christ must be given their assignments and instructions as to how to operate during the new age.

Ø NOW BACK TO His reign:
No one will enter His 1000 year reign that is not saved, remember the true Jehovah witnesses back in chapter 7: tells us that these witnesses will go all over the world during the horrible tribulation time, they will have Gods seal in their foreheads and nothing can harm these dear Jews, and their all male, read chapters 7 and also chapter 14:-and they’ll be preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, not the gospel of grace that we now preach in this Church age.
millions will believe and be saved at that time, let me say this right here, that the people that are saved under the 144000’s preaching had never heard the truth before the rapture, it’s true they were left behind because they were not saved, but at that time all that hears the true message that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” Rom.6:23, and if they’ll receive Jesus then they will be saved, and let me say that receiving Jesus is the only remedy, it will be then and it is now.
People who heard the truth before the rapture and refused to receive and believe on Him can never be saved after the rapture, God will send them strong delusion to believe a lie.
2nd thess.2:10-12--because they received not the love of the truth,*(Jesus is the Truth) that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
They’ll be deceived by the antichrist lies and receive his mark, so if your not saved why continue on in your sins, you are a walking dead man, as soon as your heart beats for the last time you’ll open your eyes in hell just like the lost rich man in Luke 16:
You will face many decisions in your life, but none as important as this one.

As he judges each person at this time, “THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY” He will then determine who the SHEEP and GOATS are, He places the people that He calls sheep on His right, and He places the goats on His left, the sheep will go into the Millennial reign with Christ, the goats on His left, the goats wind up in hell.
Ø LISTEN
These sheep are saved, but they’re in their natural bodies, remember no one can enter His Kingdom
If their not saved, they could not have children if they were not in their natural bodies.
But their children are not saved, they will be born with the old Adamic sinful nature, they will have children, their children will have children, all through the Millennium, all of these children are still in their sinful condition, they’ll have to be saved just like every body else, they will become cold toward Jesus, they’ll be use to seeing Him and because of their sinful nature grow weary of Jesus, that seems like something that’s impossible to we that are saved, we are longing for the day that we see Him, we will shout and praise God that we’re saved, and should even do that at this time, we love Jesus and want to do right although we still do things that displeases Him, but in that day we’ll have bodies like His and our old ways will not be any hindrance to us any more.
He will rule them with a rod of iron. What HE SAYS IS HOW IT WILL BE.
many of these children that will be born during the Kingdom will except Jesus as Lord and Saviour by faith and grow to worship Him and love Him.
Ø LISTEN:-- The fact that they still have their old sinful nature will provide the potential
for a third category of people in the Millennium, realize that their unbelievers in mortal bodies, men and women susceptible to the deceptions of Satan.
These will make up the millions and millions from all over the world that will revolt and rebel for the last-time under Satan’s final deception, when he is let loose out of his prison for a little season
then he just takes right up where he left off deceiving people, He can’t be any other way.

These rebels will come from all over the world under satans leadership to try to destroy Jesus and His saints, and the Holy city Jerusalem and that is when God from out of heaven will destroy the whole crowd, as He rains down fire and brim stone.
And finally and at last there will be no sinners or sin left, when Jesus has done away the satan and his demons, He then makes this old earth His foot stool (showing that all His work is now completely finished) and then He destroys this world by the cleansing agent of fire, and by the way this is when the WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT of the lost is under way, we’ll be there very soon now, we’ll say some more at that time.
He will then make a new heaven and a new earth, and He will then turn all things back over to the FATHER, and then KING Jesus will reign over His new earth and Kingdom for ever.
1 Corinthians 15: 24-28 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
LISTEN and please understand, that this is not telling us that God the Son is subordinate to the Father, that’s not what this is saying.
The kingdom here is said to be delivered up to the Father is not the kingdom of Christ, but the rule and dominion of all adverse powers, the worldly and earthly kingdoms.
(Listen) shall have put down -means,(done away, abolished) all rule, and all authority and power’ -- and ’till he hath put all enemies under his feet,’ referring to the same period that we
read about back in chapter 11:15And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.---does forever and ever sound to you like it’s going to end?
Luke 1:31-33 ---and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Now dear heart if we can’t believe that then I don’t see how we can believe any of it. –King Jesus will always be reigning just as it says.
This is Gods way of denoting the transfer, the making over of the kingdoms of this world from their former worldly and antichristian rulers to the sovereignty of Jesus Christ, the appointed heir and head of all things, whose kingdom is to be everlasting.
He shall have delivered up, has reference to the purpose of God as expressed in the Scriptures; so that the passage may be read, (then cometh the end, not the close, the final winding up, but the perfect development, expansion, completion, consummation of the Divine plans in regard to this world,)
The kingdom. This word means dominion, reign, and the exercise of kingly power. In the New Testament it means commonly the reign of the Messiah, or the dominion, which God would exercise through the Messiah; the reign of God over men by the laws and institutions of the Messiah.
His work as MEDIATOR will be ended; it means that the empire, the sovereignty, shall have been delivered up to God. His enemies shall have been subdued. His power will have been made know.
The authority of God will have been established, and the kingdom, or the dominion, shall be in the hands of God himself; and he shall reign, not in the peculiar form which existed in the work of mediation, but absolutely.
To God. Means -To God as God; to the Divinity. The Mediator shall have given up the peculiar power and rule as Mediator, and it shall be exercised by God as God.
Even the Father The word Father, as applied to God in the Scriptures, is used in two senses: to designate the Father, the first person of the Trinity as distinguished from the Son; and in a broader, wider sense, to denote God as sustaining the relation of a Father to his creatures--as the Father of all. The second person of the Trinity (God the Son) is not to surrender all power into the hands of the first, or that he is to cease to exercise dominion and control; but that the power is to be yielded into the hands of God as God, i.e., as the universal Father, as the Divinity, without being exercised in any peculiar and special manner by the different persons of the Godhead, as had been done in the work of redemption.
At the close of the work of redemption this peculiar arrangement would cease; and God, as the universal Father and Ruler of all, would exercise the government of the world.
When he shall have put down. When he shall have abolished, or brought to nought, all that opposed the reign of God.
In the new heaven and new earth there’ll be no need of a Mediator or a Redeemer, every body will live in a perfect world as all of us can forever praise King Jesus for making it all come to pass.
