Rev.# 31~9:13-21 SIXTH TRUMPET 11-21-09
Today were still talking about the {trumpet} judgments, the last 3 trumpet judgments are directed primarily towards mankind, they are called the {woe} judgments as they are far more horrific than the 1st 4 trumpet judgments that were primarily directed towards creation.
Last time we read and talked about verses 1-12 to do with the 1st {woe} trumpet judgment we saw the creatures from the abyss turned loose on mankind and their only purpose was to sting men the way scorpions do, they are to torment people for 5 months, people will be wishing that they could die but can’t.
Today were going to see another demonic group that numbers two million that are released from the Euphrates River and what their mission will be.
Ø Listen as I read verses 13-21.
13And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: -
and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
20And the rest of the “men” which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21Neither repented “they” of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

13And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,--
We’re not told who this voice is but it is from the 4 horns of the “Golden Altar”.
Probably the same angel that we read about in --
8:3-4 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was
given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the
golden altar which was before the throne.- 4And the smoke of the incense, which came with
the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
The golden altar in the Temple, and in the tabernacle as well, was placed directly before the veil, which hid the Holy of Holies.
These “woe” trumpet judgments are the answer to the prayers of the Martyred tribulation saints as they’re crying out for God to avenge them in --
6:9-10 9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
The voice is that of God or one that He has appointed to be His messenger. The four horns indicate the whole strength of the altar of intercession on behalf of the prayers of the Martyred saints. God always keeps His Word.
6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
This angel instructed the angel who had blown the sixth trumpet to release the four
angels who were bound at the Euphrates River. Their fallen angels since good angels are
not bound.
God had a purpose for these unclean spirits to fulfill and ordered their release to
accomplish His will. He imprisoned them when Satan rebelled against Him.
The Euphrates is mentioned twice in Revelation, here and in 16:12.
The word “great” { the great river Euphrates.} is used both here in our text verse, 9:14 and also in 16:12.
The length of “the great river Euphrates” is about 1780 miles, and it is by far the longest and most important river of western Asia.
The Euphrates was the natural boundary separating the nations of the east from Palestine. It’s flowed between Israel and her powerful enemy Assyria.
It was an important river- { the great river Euphrates.}

Who are these 4 angels?
They are demonic spirits. The four angels of Revelation 7:1 are good angels who carry out the
judgment of God.
But these are fallen angels because they have been bound. Good angels are never spoken
of as bound.
These demonic spirits or “fallen angels” are bound. These are wicked angels and will be
released as a further judgment against a godless, Christ rejecting world.

15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
This verse is another good verse that tells us that God is a God of order, He does nothing just by happen stance.
We’re told in this verse that God has already set - an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year,-God does every thing on His foreordained time schedule, He’s not wondering from day to day what He’s going to do next.
Listen-The world leaders that are on the scene today was allowed to be there in order to accomplish His plan, I’m sure that most of us look on the situation and mess that our country is in and fear that she’s going down, we hear a lot about our country owing so much money to China and other country’s, we also see the economy of almost all other country’s and see that their having money problems, just remember this must come to pass in order to bring in the “one world” Government system.
A person don’t have to have the mind of a rocket scientist to see it, all we have to do is read Gods Word, and especially Revelation to see it.
Daniel 2:20-21 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:==
Let’s not blame all the mess on the present administration; the last one also has a hand in it. God raises up both men and demons as His instruments to accomplish His purposes in history.
Ø Obama is the man that fits perfectly in these last day events, he’s trying to turn this
Country into a socialist nation and its swiftly headed in that direction.—he speaks great words.
One day not to far away money will be worthless and useless, people will have to receive the mark of the beast in order to buy sell and trade, its headed that way.
James said in
James 5:1-3 1Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days--
REV.13: 16-17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I
heard the number of them.
“The weapons of this army are fire, smoke, and brimstone (vs. 17) which are weapons of hell and may further indicate that the army is made up of the inhabitants of hell—demons.
These 4 demonic beings are going to be in charge of a great demonic army of 200 million, these are another grotesic looking hoard of demons, we have already saw that verses 1-12 tells us about a group of demon monstrosities that sting and torment men for 5 months, since they are demons I see know reason to think that these are some man made army, these are demons also.

18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
By these verses we see that these have both heads and tails that will attack people, they don’t just torment men for 5 months as the previous demons do, these kill men, and we’re told that they will kill 1/3rd of mankind all over the world.
There was already 1/4th of the world’s population killed when the fourth seal was opened.
Rev.6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
This means the earth’s total population is reduced by one-half by these two judgments alone and these judgments don’t account for all the deaths that will occur. The other judgments also will result in widespread destruction of human life.
Jesus said in
Matt.24: 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:
Jesus is talking about the daylight hours being shortened, the tribulation must last 7 years, and there can be no contradictions.
One man said, “Never since Noah has such a substantial proportion of the earth’s population come under God’s righteous judgment.”

20And the rest of the “men” which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Lets notice that the earth dwellers of that day will be so engulfed with their sins that they’ll have no desire to repent.
Through humanism and a Christ-rejecting society, man has little to look forward to, specifically, the horrible conditions of these two verses.
Here we see the true results of humanism and the great society the world is trying to develop—but apart from God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The following three points describe the character of this society and its people.
“And the rest … who were not killed . . did not repent.” You would think by this time men would be crying out for mercy from God in deep repentance, especially since the world will know these things that are happening are judgments from God (cf. 6:14-17).
But no, by now the rest of mankind has become confirmed in their rebellion and depraved ways through the hardening effect of continued negative volition to God.
This demonstrates the extreme humanistic nature of man that has always been evident, but especially in these last days. Men, as we see today; reject the works of God both in creation and in salvation. Man is trying to handle life by what he can do apart from God.
Man’s idols are helpless nothings.

21Neither repented “they” of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
This word { sorceries} is in the Greek “farmakon"- drugs will be a big part of the Tribulation. In the Tribulation practically everyone will be on drugs and men will kill and steal to get them.
