When Doubts Come Your Way
The Bible Is The Cure For Doubt!
Psalm 42:6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.
The key to victory over doubt is to “REMEMBER THE LORD.” Go beyond your present circumstances. KNOW that the Lord has brought you through this far. He will see you all the way through unto the end! The Lord will never leave you. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Look at all the many blessings in your life that He has given you. The Lord gives us good things. Don’t doubt the Lord
1.Remember Him!
When doubts come your way, open the Bible & pray.
A.Read God’s Word. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
B.Pray Unto to the Lord to help you.
Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said
with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
C.Look At all the great things the Lord has done for you.
Psalm 77:11-14 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
D.Meditate On God’s goodness. Psalm 143:5 says, "I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands."
E.Reflect Just look back on last year. Then go through all the things the Lord has brought you through. In other words! COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. NAME THAM ONE BY ONE. You will be surprise at the results of doing that. Psalm 119:47-50 says:
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
Psalm 94:19 the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
God loves us.
He gave His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, to die for our sins.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1John 4:10 says, "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
1.His love for us never fails. He loves us with an everlasting love.
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Psalm 111:2-

he works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honourable and glorious:and his righteousness endureth for ever. He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
Jer 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, ea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
2.The good He has done for us in the past. He will do for us in the future. The Lord is good to us.
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which
thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
3.The Lord never leaves us. He is always with us.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Jesus said in Matthew 28:20b "...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Deut 1:30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight
for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
4.He is our help in trouble. He is our peace and makes the roaring waves still. He knows our need & answers us when we look unto Him.
Psalm 107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
Psalm 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Psalm 107:30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
5.He guides our steps. He leads us on the right path.
Psalm 48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
Psalm 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Psalm 27:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
6.He helps us & encourages us. He tells us to, "fear not." Deut 31:6 Bestrong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
7.He is our God!! What an awesome God we serve.
1Sam 2:2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
Psalm 86:10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
8.The Lord restores peace in our homes. He gives joy & blesses us with spiritual blessings. He restores marriages. He heals our bodies. He protects us & strengthens our health. He gives peace in the midst of storms. He gives us hope when all hope seems lost. The Lord provides for us. He is our help in times of trouble. He is our Shield in the midst of battle. He is Shepherd when we don’t know the way. He is the voice of wisdom when we don’t know what to do. What an awesome God we serve! He saved us & He abides with us & never to leave us.
Eph 5:20 thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
When we remember all the wonderful things the Lord has done for us. There is no possible way that doubt can remain. Let us be thankful & let us lift our praise to the Lord. For all the wonderful things He has done for us. Remember Him! Remember all the things He has done for you! Take a sheet of paper & start writing all the things the Lord has done for you. Whenever doubt creeps in. Take that sheet of paper out & review it from time to time. The Lord is with us.
1Tim 2:8 will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
1Thes 5:16 ejoice evermore.
1Thes 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Thes 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
2Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Deut
8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
2.COMMIT YOUR WAYS TO THE LORD.
Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Prov 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
God is concerned with the little things in our life as well. Things most would deem as trivial. God is concerned about these things too. No problem is too big or too small for the Lord! Is anything to hard for the lord All problems are small to Him because nothing is difficult for Him. Some say, "Well, I don’t want to trouble the Lord with such a small thing..." Trouble Him? You can never trouble God. He wants us to come to Him for everything.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Matthew 7:9-11 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Nothing is difficult for Him. Genesis 18:14a Is any thing too hard for the LORD? Whether you ask for something big or small. All things are considered small in His eyes. There is nothing that He cannot do for you.
When you ask according to His will. 1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
3.NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR THE LORD.
Believe God’s Word. Trust in Him to see you through whatever trial you are facing.
Jer 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Let me use an example...
If you ask me for a penny. I would gladly give you one. That is within my reach. If you ask me for a dollar. I would give you one. That too is within my reach. If you ask me for $10.00. I may have to go to the bank & get it for you. If you ask me for $1000.00, now that may be difficult. If you ask me for a million dollars. I would have to say, "There is no possible way I can get that for you."
But see, with God, asking for a penny or for a million. Both are the small things to Him. Nothing is hard for Him. Nothing is beyond His reach. To God, every problem is small. If we would only let that sink in. We must believe God! We must trust Him & put our complete faith in Him. He is the God that cannot fail. Everything we own is because of Him. Everything we have our salvation, family, friends, pets, income, house, cars, & all our possessions. EVERYTHING He gave to us. If we can grasp this. How much more faith we would have when trials come our way. Every pay raise you have ever received. Every promotion you have ever earned. God gave it to you. Every house you have ever lived in. God blessed you with.
He helps & strengthens you to do your best in your place of work. Then blesses you with an increase in pay on top of that.
Think about this. He helps you to succeed & then blesses you with benefits. What a great God we serve. When we rely upon His word We find Him to be our strong tower. The Lord is our strength.
The way of the world is to take from you what you have but God gives. He is the Giver of Life & the blessor of all things pure & good. He blesses us so that we may bless others. To be a light for Him in this sinful world. He is our peace. He is our joy. He is our Life! Without Him, we are nothing! On the other hand with Him, we can do all things Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
So remember the Lord. Meditate on Him. Think about His goodness. He loves you with an everlasting love.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Psalm 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
Matt 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
If you have not received Jesus as your Savior. You can know Him as Savior today. God’s Free Gift of Salvation offered to all. Jesus loves you. He says in Revelation 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The altar is now open for business. As the music plays please come. Salvation, join, or just to spend time with the Lord. As the Bible says in Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (A promise from the Lord to all of us) Please come now!
