7THINGS THAT FRUSTRATE YOUR SOULWINNING
GALATIANS 2:21
“ I DO NOT FRUSTRATE THE GRACE OF GOD: FOR IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COME BY THE LAW, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.”
Soul wining can & will become frustrating if:
1)When you do not ask the Holy Spirit for power
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Everyday in prayer time I plead with the Holy Spirit for power to witness that week. On soul winning day I pray all day in my mind for His power, & His wisdom. For with out the power of the Holy Spirit of God nothing will happen. My job is to go & tell. His job is to convict the sinner to received Christ as Saviour. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Soul wining can & will become frustrating if:
2)When we go too fast:
Slow down!!!! Do not be in a hurry to get to the next door. Don’t worry about what the others are doing. They may hit more doors. You have a soul deal with him or her with Love & compassion. Remember their life is at stake here. Make it clear & sound so they understand the plan totally. I would rather have one know for sure. Than a whole bunch that never knew what hit them. Let’s not make them a two time child of the Devil. (A false security of salvation) This is not a race. Make your words clear & understanding. Folks who rush through are impersonal, & the people know that.

3)By not putting the Plan of Salvation on their level:
Very simple you would not speak to an adult the same way you would speak to a child. Nor would you speak to a child the same way you would speak to an adult. (Do not go below them)
When dealing with a teenager talk to him or her at their level (now once upon a time type deal)
When dealing with a child talk to them like a child (may be more of a story)
The important thing here is not to go over their heads where the do not understand. Then also don’t go below them either (Where they think you are smarter than them.)
Each person is different treat them so. Try to think like them.

4)By not drawing the net:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
What I mean here is you got to get them to receive Jesus Christ as Saviour. You have asked the question (if you were to die, where would you spend entity) you have given the plan of salvation. NOW IT IS TIME TO GET THEM TO RECEIVE JESUS
So many soul winners fail to do this. The whole purpose is to lead them to Christ. Ask them to trust Christ as Saviour.
Like fishing when you get a bite: Do you look at the pole & watch the fish nibble or do you jerk the rod to hook the fish to bring it in. The soul is the same you have given them the bait they have nibbled on it. Now bring them in.
Simple question would you like to trust Jesus as you personal Saviour right now. Admit that you’re a sinner (for all have) ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Then ask Jesus come into your heart & be your Saviour, & take you to heaven.

5)When you quit too soon:
Let the word of God answer the questions they have. NEVER GIVE UP ON THEM.
Now if they do not act interested or they tell you no (Then simply say may I leave this with you A TRACT) Give it to them & thank them. (Do not even say God bless you (just thank you)
Luke 9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
Must listen to the Holy Spirit. ALWAYS LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN FOR THE NEXT SOUL WINNER.
In time, you will know when to stop. If they seem busy would not even hurt to ask if you could come back another time. (Leave a tract with them.) (Be sure to follow up on them) If they seem to have, a lot of trouble ask if Pastor could visit them.

6)When you are mechanical:
Folks they do not need robots! So many times we get so used to the same old plan we get in a rut. BE REAL, BE YOURSELF, BE INTERESTED IN THEM.
They are real people going to heaven or hell. They deserve our full attention & concern. (God & His Son Jesus gave them all) (Why should we not do the same) Love them (JESUS DOES)
They can tell if you care.
I have seen so many soul winners say the same thing over & over. No matter what happens. (They are like a robot) Remember each person is different, & we must cater to them.

7)By being religious:
Never let religion get in the way. (Never knock any one religion or church) I tell people I‘m a Baptist. (But I also let them know that there are going to be a lot of Baptist not in Heaven.) (In heaven there are no religions just the children of God) I let them know even as a preacher I am a sinner. Every day I sin against a Holy God. I tell them I don’t want too but I still have the old nature in me. (I try not to but I am a man) (ONLY ONE PERFECT MAN WALKED THE EARTH THAT WAS JESUS) I reminded them of Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; For they never truly received Jesus as their saviour.
Do not ever be holier than them, & never knock their religion. Simply get to the plan of salvation, & Let GOD BE GOD & let the Holy Spirit do his job.
REMEMBER: OUR JOB IS TO GO & TELL
