What I would like to see for the future
1. A church that prays together, stays together.
a. The early church prayed the church into existence
They prayed it thru resistance
They prayed it into glory
b. "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."
(Acts 4:31, KJV)
We argue whether it is alright to tremble - the place trembled when the early church prayed
Truth Challenge…
1. We know about prayer – but do we know how to pray?
We know we can touch God in prayer – but have we touched him?
2. The word tells us the devils also believe and tremble - the are better believers so-called then we are at times.
2. A place where Christ stands in the midst of his people and reveals his heart to us.
a. As I was sitting in my office at the shop, I glanced at the picture of Jesus hanging on the wall, and immediately I was in the spirit, and ask Christ,
Lord, what do you want to see at Living Word.
He said he desires above all else, that we would come to know his heart, and when life has so beaten them up, we as leaders, would stand forth, and show his heart to the people.
b. No matter what you face… no mater what is going on in your life, you are only ONE REVELATION away from having that the answer given for that which you prayed.
c. Jesus says if you ask anything in my name…. we might not always get what we asked for,,, but we are guaranteed a place where we get an audience with the father.
d. We had a dad in the shop who John noticed did not notice his daughter when she talked…. Even when she told him…. I love you an
